Your Dog Trainer's Dog Sitter
You've spent a lot of time and energy training your dog. You don't want to come back from vacation with all your hard work undone because a sitter threw your rules out the window! This is dog sitting for the 1% who take their training seriously and want a loving substitute teacher while you're gone. *** A hunting dog attacked me when I was four years old. On my way to the cul-de-sac mailbox, it jumped the fence and slammed my head onto the concrete. Scalp split open, I ran home screaming. From then on, dogs terrified me. I hid behind my mum around dogs bigger than me…and at the time, every dog was. I declared myself a cat person, and that was that. Then YouTube appeared. The algorithm’s “infinite wisdom” served up a video of Cesar Millan transforming a “mean” dog into a “nice” one in five minutes. Were all dogs really this easy to understand? If I could do what Cesar did, if I could master dog training, maybe they wouldn't scare me anymore? It became an obsession. I watched thousands of his videos. Before/after. Wild/controlled. Chaos/manageable. Scary/incredibly cute. But watching dogs on a screen was a different beast than working with them in real life. My great aunt in Cape Town, South Africa, gave me my first round of exposure therapy when she took me to a Great Dane farm. Dozens of giant dogs loomed around me. She held my hand the whole time and introduced me to every. single. one. I can do this. I can do this. She has since passed, but being around dogs reconnects me to her memory. It's a heartwarming comfort. Years later, a friend was having trouble on her walk. “Can I try?” I gave her a few concrete instructions from my musings: “Krishna, you’re really good with dogs.” “What? Nooo.” “Uh, yes. She never listens to anyone else, but she’s perfectly calm with you.” “Nahhh, she can just sense I’m vegan.” I assumed everyone understood dog body language and I was just slow on the uptake. Turns out, they don't! Not only was I no longer afraid, I was giving lessons! Today, clients fly me across the globe to care for their dogs. My last assignment took me to London for two glorious, busy weeks. While I hope to have a dog of my own again someday, I want to dedicate my time to caring for yours in the meantime. Krishna is an absolute gem of a human being and clearly loves being around pets! He's walked my pets, Mochi and Meatloaf, as well as watched them for extended periods of time. What I love most about Krishna is how much he cares for the animals. He really checks in with us and sends lots of pictures and updates. Our pets are always excited to see him and be near him since he carries such a warm, loving energy.
I can't speak highly enough about Krishna as my go-to dog walker and sitter. My vizsla, Penny, has a lot of energy and needs, and we love working with him because we know she's in great hands. Penny is a high-energy dog who needs consistent exercise and reinforcement of her training. When we leave her with Krishna, we're confident that she'll have a great time, stay safe and happy, and keep following the rules we've established with her. He's reliable, attentive, and trustworthy - everything you want in someone caring for your pup! I'm always at ease leaving Penny with Krishna, and she's always SO excited to see him. I can't recommend him more highly!!
Krishna has been watching my dog, Warden, since he was about 3 years old, and he’s 14 now. Over the years, he’s always made sure to follow Warden’s routine, reinforce the same rules we have at home, and stick to his diet. Warden is always incredibly excited to see Krishna and completely trusts him. What I appreciate most is knowing that when Warden is with Krishna, his routine stays consistent and I’m not getting him back with new habits or having to readjust him afterward. I trust Krishna completely with him.
Krishna is such a fantastic dog sitter. He’s dog sat my older pup, Luna, several times. She’s about 14/15 and needs someone to take her out almost every hour and give her heart meds night and day and Krishna is super on top of it all! He gives her so much attention (Luna loves to play with toys) and makes sure to take her on walks and to her favorite park. Whenever something new comes up due to her age, Krishna is there to help! My husband and I always worry about who should dog sit her while we’re away since we don’t want her to get out of routine or feel discomfort, but Krishna has been able to keep her on top of her meds, daily walks, and makes sure she’s not having any incidents inside the house. Thanks so much for being the best dog sitter to our Luna!
Krishna is a phenomenal, trusted dog sitter who knows how to show your dog love while sticking to your training plan! Our pup was recently being trained around his barking when we had to leave town and Krishna followed our trainer's instructions to a T. It was such a relief -- and when we got back, it all stuck! Highly recommend Krishna!
We couldn't have asked for a kinder, more reliable and understanding caregiver! At the last minute, we needed someone to sit for our 3 year old St Bernard/Pitt mix who can be a handful. Krishna was on time, and immediately connected with our dog Hercules. He was immediately aware of our dog's comfort level and asked many questions that we had not even thought of. Hercules fell in love with Krishna and we are so happy we found a trustworthy pet sitter. Not only did Krishna take his time with Hercules, he also took extra time to check in on our cat (who was not part of the petsitting agreement). He did that without us asking and took the time to observe the relationship between both pets. Extra long walks, lots of cuddles and a very happy dog - this is really everything we could ask for in a pet sitter. Highly recommend Krishna!

Schedule
I work from home most of the time. So I will be around essentially 24/7 during your dog's stay. Easily reachable at a moment's notice.

I walk 10k steps a day, so you can be sure there will be plenty of walks! They will be tired! Happy to send updates while you're away or let you enjoy your holiday in peace.
A typical day
If your loved one is staying with me, I live right by the La Brea tar pits which as plenty of space to run around and get exercise. Pan Pacific park is also right up the street! Happy to work on whatever training you've been doing at home so it stays fresh!
