Pets can't resist me!
I've grown up with cats and dogs and had my own cat for 12years until I lost her unexpectedly to cancer. I'm always surrounded by animals because most of my friends and family have cats and dogs too, so there are plenty of furry critters for me to cuddle and play with! I just completed my GoodPup Trainer Certification Program (positive reinforcement training)! I tend to be the person that pet owners say "wow, my pet has never taken to someone so quickly!" I used to be a receptionist at a veterinary hospital while in college, and I used to volunteer with Ace of Hearts, a bully breed rescue in Los Angeles and I did visits and walks with their amazing dogs. I've also volunteered at a local farm with lots of different animals to care for! As a boundaries and safety expert for humans as my day job, those skills also apply to reading and understanding animal behavior/body language for better communication and interactions. I meet your pets where they are, go at their pace, and respect them deeply.

I will care for pets in my clients homes. I meticulously pay close attention to details and follow instructions. I am responsible, reliable, friendly, honest, caring, and take your pets safety and well being seriously. As the former guardian for a cat with medical needs, I know the importance of trusting a sitter to read, understand, and follow precise directions...even when it seems tedious. I will ask questions when needed to ensure your pet gets the best care so you can relax. I will always let your pet come to me on their own timing and will respect their needs and boundaries above all else!

I wholeheartedly recommend Nicole! The joy expressed in our first exchange continued as we planned a meet/greet with the kitties in person. Both cats gave their approvable through play during the first sit. I even got the impression that they were looking for Nicole after she left and I walked through the door. Nicole's communication is excellent; thoughtful updates, action photos plus inquiries about quirks to ensure the kitties are at ease while I travel. Timing of our connection is perfect. Building a pet care community that is enriching is a priority. I'm learning from Nicole's grace as well as expertise. Thank you so much!

Nicole was really great with my blind kitten Bonnie! They became fast friends and played the entire time. Nicole is a great communicator and listened/paid attention to all of the details given for my special kitten which is great for an anxious pet parent like me.
Nicole is a true cat whisperer! I hired her last minute and she exceeded every expectation. During our meet-and-greet, she took the time to truly understand Pablo’s specific quirks, routines, and personality, asking incredibly thoughtful questions that put me at ease immediately. Pablo is notoriously aloof with everyone, but he connected with Nicole instantly because her warm energy is undeniable. The daily updates and hilarious videos were the highlight of my trip and clearly showed how close they were bonding and getting along. I returned to a happy cat and an apartment that was cleaner than I left it. I feel 100% safe leaving Pablo in her hands and will definitely be booking again. 5 stars isn't enough!
My little girl is a rescue, who struggles with social anxiety and, understandably, has a high bar for trust. Nicole jumped over that bar with flying colors! I've never seen her take to someone so quickly. She got down to her level, respected her space and gave her the patience and room to open up. I'm so appreciative that Nicole was there to listen to her needs, whether it was at home or on walks. Over the course of my trip I watched her blossom in ways I couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams (she doesn't let friends pet her let alone strangers, and she let Nicole give her belly scratches). So grateful that she has come into our lives.
Nicole was the absolute best. This was our first time using Rover - we were gone over the holidays for a longer period of time and I was nervous about finding someone to take care of our cat- we needed someone to feed her special food in the morning and night. Nicole fulfilled every request and over delivered. She fulfilled every meal, sent detailed reports as pictures and she made sure our cat got socialization, pets, and love. Nicole is animal person and genuinely cares about the animals she is watching. I will definitely use Nicole again in the future.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule as a business owner and outdoor adventurer that works from home, unless I'm out of town training or have meetings. While I'm in town, I have a schedule that will oftentimes allow me to take visits during the day.
