I like animals more than most ppl
Hey there! My name’s Anika and I love spending my time with animals. :) I’ve been pet-sitting for the past year or so for different people in my neighborhood and have helped so, sooo many animals and people with their pets over the course of my life! I started asking myself what field of work I could see myself doing regularly while also working on the skills I’d like to develop, and being around and taking care of animals wins every time. My family in Chicago adopted my dog over 10 years ago now, I adopted a cat that I’ve had with me in LA for the last 2 years and I grew up with birds! I even had a fish for a very brief period of time before passing it along to someone else. Ensuring that my pets are always safe is my no.1 priority, I am constantly googling things to make sure everything is alright and up-to-date with them. I also work mostly from home- I own my own Airbnb business which I can do from anywhere which allows me to be at home with them often. I am also a musician so have to travel for that from time to time, but usually not for extended periods of time, just for a few hours in the day/ night. I love nature and all living things and will do everything in my power to make sure your babies are happy, safe and entertained with me!

I am able to stay anywhere for any period of time as long as I am able to earn more than my monthly rent during said duration. I live with my cat in an apartment with 3 other roommates, a dog and another cat. I’m able to have pets here during the day time because we have a backyard, movie room, gym and co-working space but it gets challenging at night because there’s not really a place for them to sleep since my cat sleeps in my room. I’m down to do absolutely anything it takes to make sure that your loved one is okay while you’re away.

I can't recommend Anika highly enough! She took amazing care of my dog twice a month for the last half a year while I was on work trips. From the start, she was warm, communicative, reliable, and cared about my dog's well-being. Anika kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I knew she treated my dog with the same love and attention she would give her own pet. When I switched food and Moses was stubborn/ate very little she literally fed him from her hands (the only way he'd eat at the time) Every time I return home Moses is relaxed and happy. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely wonderful with animals, I would highly recommend her!
Anika is one of the most caring and responsible people I know. She genuinely loves animals and always goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. She takes the time to learn what each pet needs and will do everything she can to provide the best possible care, often without even being asked. Whether it's giving extra attention, keeping a close eye on their well-being, or making sure they feel at home, Anika treats every pet like her own. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Anika as their pet sitter.
Annika is a responsible and caring dog sitter. My dog Litzy adores her and I know I can rely on her to take good care of my baby :)

Schedule
As of right now, I take care of 2 of my neighbors pets whenever they need me to. I just got done with baby sitting for my upstairs neighbor Kate over the last 3 weeks. Her frenchie mo is the sweetest boy ever, we went on walks every day, I fed him salmon, put in his ear medicine nightly and massaged his hind legs. When we weren’t outside or playing some sort of game/ activity, we were just chilling with one another while I worked on my laptop. I’m able to be with your per as much as needed, and more than just take care of them, I make sure to bond with every animal I interact with and give them plenty of love so they don’t feel the lack of your presence 🥺 At the end of the day, they’re all just lil babies.
