He arrived at 5:30AM so we could have our dog be with him while we headed to the airport to relieve any anxiety and stayed until 7:00PM so we could get back not too late with our dog being alone. Don was very kind, sweet, and attentive towards our dog. He asked for a detailed item list for his stay, he sent us a ton of photos and videos without us having to always ask, and reached out to help clean up sheets, vacuum, take the trash out before his stay ended. You can tell he has a passion for dogs and truly enjoys spending time with them. I would highly recommend Don if you are looking to enjoy your vacation or time away and want to feel like you can trust someone to make your dog happy. We look forward to hiring him again next time we are out of town. He will be our first choice in sitters moving forward.”

About: I’ve taken care of old man and lady cats and dogs. I don’t mind a big reactionary dog - or a cat that will hiss in the shadows and make me feel like I’m in a haunted house. I’ve sat for friends and friends of friends for many years. If you need references- I’ve got them! I’ve also got two cats at home who were saved from the backyard and I unfortunately can’t have a dog at my house, so I’m happy to hang with whatever fur friends you have! I’m a writer and actor who works out of my home. My days and nights are pretty flexible and I’m looking for ways to stay active and get out and spend time with some fur friends! I have two cats at home we feed every morning and night. We scoop everyday, changing out the box every week. When I’m taking care of a dog I walk them at least twice a day. I’ve taken care of reactive dogs that need extra attention, and one dog who was too afraid to walk on grass! Happy to meet the needs of your specific fur person, even if they are strange and unusual.

About: I've looked after cats and dogs. My experience has mainly been looking after my family's furry babies. Looking after two cats made me understand how time consuming pet care can get especially if medication is involved. Her two cats are completely different. Lion (10) is very kind, loves cuddles, and isn't shy. Orca (9) on the other hand prefers to stay away from people until he is ready to say hi from a distance. When looking after them I like knowing how their mom usually feeds them, what they like dislike and their favorite toys. Overall I treat anyone's home like my own. Additionally, having a German Shepherd/Husky 4 year old has shown me the endless attention and care dogs need. The importance of routine in a dogs life is what I value in dog ownership. It has helped my dog and mine relationship over the years. Each animal I've looked after have a different personality and like things done within their comfort zone. When looking after my friends dogs and cats, it includes walks, playtime, feeding and hang out with them, all of which are in my album! I am currently working a full time but am available every Friday night until Monday morning. I am available for evening/night walks and check ins every weekday. I will ensure to gather information needed to support their needs such as food routines, play, pets, dos and donts. If your pet has medication I will also ensure to follow instructions given.
