“Alexandrea took great care of our dogs and sent us photos regularly. She stayed at our house and left it nice and clean. She is very friendly and communicative. Thanks Alexandrea!”

“Jehiny was available pretty last minute and made me feel so safe and secure leaving my foster dog at home alone. She sent timely updates, shared pictures, and gave us some suggestions for some difficult situations we were having with the foster. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“We had Don watch our 3 year old dog for 3 nights and 4 days. He was absolutely the perfect sitter. He arrived at 5:30AM so we could have our dog be with him while we headed to the airport to relieve any anxiety and stayed until 7:00PM so we could get back not too late with our dog being alone. Don was very kind, sweet, and attentive towards our dog. He asked for a detailed item list for his stay, he sent us a ton of photos and videos without us having to always ask, and reached out to help clean up sheets, vacuum, take the trash out before his stay ended. You can tell he has a passion for dogs and truly enjoys spending time with them. I would highly recommend Don if you are looking to enjoy your vacation or time away and want to feel like you can trust someone to make your dog happy. We look forward to hiring him again next time we are out of town. He will be our first choice in sitters moving forward.”

“Jason is the BEST! Amazing with the dogs, he is calm, collected and has great energy. He easily looked after 3 big huskies without any issues. Not to mention he is an amazing artist/singer/rapper. Will definitely book again!”

“Amanda was a great, communicative, thoughtful sitter for my 18 month old pup! Went out of her way to offer to apply my guy's nightly ear drops, sent me photos of him looking happy and playful. Thanks Amanda!”

“I'm a person with really high standards and I was impressed with Emilie. She can be quiet and a little shy at first, but ultimately is incredibly communicative. She cares a lot about getting the details right and I truly appreciated how much it mattered to her to understand our directions as clearly as possible. She's the kind of person that is observant to the nuances of animals. And our cats took to her right away! I would undoubtedly hire her again. She's a gem.”

“Nikki did an amazing job carrying for my kitties! She was communicative and seriously helped me out, being able to watch them last minute over the holidays and graciously being flexible when I had to edit the timeframe. I came back to my place exactly how I left it and I know my cat's loved her! Will definitely be booking again.”

“Lori was absolutely fantastic. Did a great job caring to for our Chompy. He immediately fell in love with her. We left town for a wedding and Lori kept us updated through out our time away. Will definitely book Lori again to care for Chompy!”

“Gabriana was amazing. Our pets took to her so quickly, including our highly anxious dog! She’s a pet whisperer. We also returned to a clean and organized house. Highly recommend her!”

“I'm delighted to share that Katherine provided outstanding care for our whippet, Finn. Her commitment was evident as she went above and beyond, even staying overtime to ensure Finn's well-being until we returned. We greatly appreciate her dedication and highly recommend her as a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

About: I was born into a home that deeply valued the companionship of terrier dogs like Airedales and Welsh Terriers. For my entire life, I've been around dogs in my home, and at the majority of my friends' homes, learning the quirks of every breed from Australian Labradoodles to Frenchies. No dog or cat is too small or too large, my heart knows no limits. I have experience with senior dogs as well, as my sister has adopted several over the past 10 years. I can clean up any mess and I have the stamina to run up any hill or jog any trail with our beloved canines! I am currently the proud parent of two brother cats, Ghost and Banshee--they light up my world and my wife and I spoil them every day. Lastly, I will make sure you are comfortable and adequately updated during each and every one of our experiences. You can always trust that your pet(s) is/are in good hands. Communication is paramount in my book (I relish the texts and photos that my cat sitters send my way while traveling)--I know how important transparency is. I'd love to hear from you and can't wait to meet my new friend(s)! I am flexible and free for any and all pet care duties. I feed my own two cats twice a day, a very regal raw meat diet. I keep their water fresh and clean their litter box three times a day, minimum. I am proactive and intuitive in anticipating the needs of the cats and dogs in my care. I go above and beyond to make sure their every need is met. I have the utmost respect for running a clean ship and will always take care when inside client homes/pet areas. I meet your pets at their level, in their own spaces, with a friendly nature and open intuitiveness.
“Mari is fantastic and clearly a cat lover - and understands cats! When she came to meet Busy for the first time, she took all the time needed to bond with my kitty and ask all questions about her care. During her time with Busy, I received the cutest photos and videos showing my kitty super comfortable, getting all her play time, and cozying up for naps every day during her stay. Mari also maintained my apartment extremely well and I’m very thankful for that! I am so happy Mari is now in our lives and I wouldn’t think twice before booking her again!”

About: I love spending time with animals (I actually can't believe you can make a gig out of it!). I grew up with pets of all kinds (cats, dogs, spent a lot of time around horses), since have trained a puppy and had an amazing dog of my own for 15 years. After moving back to LA, I've thoroughly enjoyed looking after other people's animals until I'm ready to have another pet of my own. I regularly take care of a local dog (she's a Doberman Boxer mix whom I love very much), and I've also taken care of an elderly dog who had separation anxiety in his elder years and needed to be uninterrupted next to me, and an elderly cat who needed medication twice daily and likewise a lot of love. Whatever their unique needs are, I'm truly happy to accommodate them and make your pet feel safe and comfortable. I also love a hike or a good long walk for the younger pups with lots of energy. I work remotely, and so can structure my day to fit in your pet's normal routine. I find it's easier for me and for the pet if we keep the schedule going as is. I don't currently have the best space to board pets, and so am only doing house sits for now. I'm totally open to accommodate your pet just as you would if you were home. So potty breaks, walk duration, feeding times- Just let me know and I'll follow along!
“Absolutely the BEST dog sitter EVER. Julia took our pup out made sure he had a wonderful day while we were away. Our pup is usually reactive and harder to take to parks without barking at other dogs a ton but she took initiative and our little guy had so much fun. She sent photos throughout the time we were gone so we could rest assured that our guy was safe and loved. She even brushed him on her own and he is now the fluffiest pup around. So thankful for her amazing talents with animals and happy attitude to be around she makes everyone feel at ease. Can’t recommend her enough!!!”

“Hannah was great! She stayed in close communication, sent pics and I know my dog was perfectly happy in his normal routine while we were out of town. She went above and beyond in many ways!”

Chinatown pet parents share their Rover experiences
Liency was amazing with my 2 dogs and cat. My dogs are a bit temper-mental and she’s been so professional in how she handles them. She updated me 2x a day with photos and reassurance that they were doing great. Additionally one if my dogs has to take meds and get eye drops throughout the day and liency was a pro handling that. Thanks so much, will definitely book again!

JAMIE IS THE BEST ROVER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I’ve had my cat for ten years, and have used rover many times. But Jamie? She’s different. My cat is very particular, high needs sweet boy who needs meds three times a day. He is very attached to me, and leaving him is difficult for both of us. But the moment he met Jamie? He was smitten. She sent me a video of him purring next time her. Genuinely? He’s in love. Jamie was communicative, kind, and so very good to my boy. She is now our go-to sitter. Best rover I have ever had!!!

Súper professional and accommodating. Needed a sitter last minute for Mother’s Day and Josh went above and beyond. Very good about communicating updates. Handled giving my dog Vida her pill. & just all around a kind and caring guy! Definitely will book with him again.

Diane was so terrific I think Rex may have fallen in love with her :) He’s pretty chill, but does love a daily game of being chased around the coffee table which she gladly obliged him. She also sent updates and pictures throughout the days I was gone so I knew he was safe, happy and cared for. 10/10 would recommend and rebook again.
