Patient, caring and full of love!
Hi there — I go by Lio (she/her)! I grew up with a Jack Russell and later lived with a Cavalier King Charles puppy, then a reactive rescue Brittany Spaniel for 3 years before moving to LA. I’ve been hands-on with everything from potty training to reading canine body language, and I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s personality. I’ve also lived with a British Longhair cat for 3 years, so I’m used to caring for both dogs and cats in the same household. Most of the animals around me growing up were rescues, often with a bit of sensitivity, so I naturally developed a calm, patient approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs — from shy or reactive to high-energy breeds (herding, hunting and hounds). I’ve also dogsat for a year through Pawshake and currently volunteer at the Pasadena Humane Society. I'm especially experienced in sensitive and reactive pups. I've cared for rescues and street dogs, and will make sure I show them love while respecting their boundaries!

Giving space, making sure I give out respect, patience and care. The most important aspect for me is to be attuned to them. Understanding their language, making sure they are comfortable 100% of the time. Regular potty breaks, grooming if needed, and a stress-free environment.

I have a reactive German Shepherd, and it can be difficult introducing her to new people. Lio (Jenny) was incredibly patient with us and very understanding of the challenges that come with having a reactive dog. I honestly thought I would never be able to get my dog to trust a new person, let alone leave her alone with them. But my dog felt safe and comfortable with Lio and took to them very well. We left for a 5-day trip, and Lio was very communicative and attentive to the dogs the entire time. Sent us plenty of pictures and videos. I could also tell our house was well taken care of. I feel so relieved to have found someone like Lio that I can truly trust to take care of my babies
Jenny helped me out immensely when I needed an overnight sitter last minute for a work commitment. She welcomed my dog Miles with care, patience and kindness. He felt right at home!
Great sitter! Our dog can get nervous in new places and Leo was so kind and patient with him. We got lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely book them again!

Schedule
I currently work from home during weekdays, and will have most of the day to pamper and play with your pet. I am available all weekend for overnights.
