Hi there — I go by Lio (she/her)! I grew up with a Jack Russell and later lived with a Cavalier King Charles puppy, then a reactive rescue Brittany Spaniel for 3 years before moving to LA. I’ve been hands-on with everything from potty training to reading canine body language, and I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s personality. I’ve also lived with a British Longhair cat for 3 years, so I’m used to caring for both dogs and cats in the same household. Most of the animals around me growing up were rescues, often with a bit of sensitivity, so I naturally developed a calm, patient approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs — from shy or reactive to high-energy breeds (herding, hunting and hounds). I’ve also dogsat for a year through Pawshake and currently volunteer at the Pasadena Humane Society. I'm especially experienced in sensitive and reactive pups. I've cared for rescues and street dogs, and will make sure I show them love while respecting their boundaries!
