Caring, attentive animal lover
I grew up with multiple dogs and cats as pets, as well as a guinea pig, turtle and parrot through the years. I also currently volunteer at an equine therapy ranch caring for the horses. My love for animals runs deep and that translates to individual attention for each pet I care for. I take time to connect with your pet and learn how best to interact with them to meet their needs. I'm also happy to accommodate reasonable requests for special attention.

I choose to stay in your home when caring for pets as it can help ease anxiety for them to be in their familiar environment. I like to do a meet and greet at your house beforehand so that you can run me through their routine and any other home specifics that I should know.

Our pup loved Karen and was respectful, in kind, and patient. Definitely would book again!
Karen was a great sitter for my two year old pup!! She was very communicative and flexible, and I really appreciated that she was able to sit for a 5 night stretch on very short notice. Sent me pics and updates and I could tell my sometimes anxious pup was comfortable and happy around her. Thanks Karen! Will definitely book again!
Karen did a great job watching my dog Dexter! She was very responsive and provided us with lots of photos everyday. I would definitely book Karen again to look after Dexter.
Karen was so sweet and took incredible care of our kitties. One of them especially takes awhile to warm up to strangers and they became friends in a short time! She was easy to communicate with and so easy going. Will definitely rebook her in the future.
Karen is very nice and easy to work with. Our dogs quickly warmed up to her, which isn’t always the case with new people around our dogs. She was also great at being understanding that our dogs were dog aggressive, and seemed very capable in handling it. During her visit she had great communication.
We love Karen! We had a long trip away, and I was really anxious about being gone for so long, but Karen came through and put me at ease. She was thorough, communicative, and kind, and Billy was comfortable with her right away. Also, we loved the photo updates she sent along the way. ☺️ Billy can’t wait to see Karen again!

Harmonogram
I have a fully remote, part time job during the weekdays, so I have plenty of occasions to walk, play and give attention to pets. My weekends are usually quite flexible, too, so I can devote plenty of time to care for your pet.

- I know pets can get anxious and sad when their owners are gone, which is totally normal and I do everything I can to help them warm up to me, even if it means giving them some space. If there are any other specific things to know about the care needed, just let me know ahead of time and I’m happy to accommodate that.
