Hi, I’m Sofia. I am a privately insured full-time dog walker and sitter! I have experience with dogs and cats of all different sizes, breeds and temperaments. I have 7+ years of professional pet care experience having previously worked for two Los Angeles based pet care companies, and lifelong personal experience with animals. I love getting outside and exploring with dogs or playing with cats on a visit. I also have one cat and two senior dogs of my own, so three very spoiled and loved animals! Outside of pet care I'm an LA native who loves gardening, movies, crafting, and the Dodgers. As a pet owner myself, I know how nervous you may feel when leaving your pets in the care of someone else. My goal is to make your life and your pets life as easy and as comfortable as possible. I do that by staying in constant communication with you, following your notes and preferences, caring for your pets responsibly and always treating them with respect and love.

I'm pet sitting and dog walking full time so I am fully committed to caring for animals! I’m available and flexible and can always accept same day walks most days of the week. Send me a message if you have any questions about availability, I'll be happy to help you and your pets. I’m a walker who: - will meet the energy of your dog on a walk, whether they are a quick trotter or more of a stop and smell the flowers type. -won't rush or pull. -uses positive reinforcers like treats and praise. -can take dogs on hikes or travel to parks. -is always mindful of your pets safety while out. I'm also available for overnight sitting and have lots of experience sitting for multiple weeks at a time. I’m a sitter who: -can meet the needs of your pet, including medication administration and following a feeding schedule. -maintains a calm temperament to keep your pets comfortable. -provides lots of attention and cuddles. -stays in constant communication. -sends lots of cute pics. -is very tidy in your home. -is mindful of home safety, food safety, and environmental changes .

When doing overnight sitting, where I spend the night in your home, I like to follow the owner's routine and preferences as this makes the dog/cats life less stressful while you are away. Meet and greets before a sitting are a great way for me to learn about your routine and preferences before a sit. Some owners have also left detailed care instructions that mention feeding schedules, friends/neighbors phone numbers and home care information. Also, I send super cute frequent photo/video updates and am a very neat and tidy person in your home.

Hikes or walks, sniffing and exploring the neighborhood; I love getting outside to explore or playing inside. Snuggling and pets are always included. Plus, lots of attention towards your animal with frequent photo/video updates. Let me know if your pet has a favorite park, walking route, or activity.
