About: Hi friends! ☀️ A little about me: I’m Saige! I live in LA with my partner and our pets 🐶🐱 I’m the type of gal to say hi to every dog on the street and to pspspspspss at every cat I see. Animals are also better than humans, sorry. My experience: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, but have been lucky enough to experience being a cat parent in adulthood. I currently have one senior dog and one senior cat (with big personalities) 🤣 My partner and I had two senior cats previously that have since passed. All of our sweet babies were adopted as seniors and I have been their caretakers through all of their illnesses. So I have experience administering medicine and caring for multiple illnesses. I also previously worked at a pet store and have extensive knowledge of pet products. I’m self employed with my own business, where I work remotely and make my own hours, so my schedule is completely open. About: I have two beloved cats that I've cared for for 10+ years. In addition to this, I am a regular house-and-dog sitter for a Border Collie/Black lab mix here in Los Angeles, and I grew up with both cats and dogs (and sitting for friends and family with both animals). I've given animals medicine, I've scooped hundreds of pounds of litter, and I love going on a long walk with any animal friend. I'm happy to provide whatever care you need, and as a pet owner myself I take this care very seriously. I'm taking a break from my job for a couple of months before I start school, so I have a very open schedule to provide care for your pet. I'm able to check in mornings, afternoons and evenings - really anytime your pet needs. I love to exercise, so dog walks are no problem at all either! I'm happy to spend time not just feeding/walking/scooping litter for your pet, but spending as much time needed providing them play and pets/affection. Happy to provide house sitting services as well. Sadly my space is not terribly large and already houses my own two cats, so I'm unable to provide pet boarding service at my home.

I’ve managed everything from puppy energy to the specialized care needed for older pets (my own dog lived to 14). This means your pup won't be left alone, and I can easily feed them during the day if you are busy at work. I’m also usually home all weekend, so I have plenty of time to hang out and give them my full attention. I usually finish my school on mondays and wednesdays at 3 pm, and on tuesdays, thursdays and fridays at 12 pm! Animals mean a lot to me, and I treat every pet like my own. I'm happy to care for your dogs either at my place or come over to your home, depending on what's best for them. I carefully follow all your rules about routines, love going for long walks, and will make sure they get lots of cuddles and attention.

What started as helping out close friends and neighbors has grown into a true passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I only have a cat on my own but love dogs just as much! Since I live in the city we don’t have a yard but I am about a block from a park with a dog run as well as close to grand park. I love walking downtown. We also have a spare room in case the pet needs its own space. We’re loaded up on toys and treats for both cats and dogs.

You can trust me to feed your fur babies, give them snuggles, change puppy pads/litter boxes, or take them on walks. I also have a car if you need pet pick up or drop off for any reason. Let me know how I can service you! I work a 9-5 Monday through Friday, but I am happy to give your pet love from 5pm-9pm. I am open Sundays and Saturdays for any services you may need. I am located in DTLA but my building has a beautiful doggy play place that is more sanitary than the street and can let you pup run free (with your permission of course). I am happy to walk your pup in the street if that’s what you’d prefer. While in your home, I am happy to clean up any messes your pets have left from potty to notorious Cat spills. I am happy to take extra sanitary measures upon your request, please let me know what makes you feel comfortable.
