“I needed last minute doggy day care, and Jade was my go to. Flexible, friendly, professional and great with puppies. She shared multiple videos throughout the day, and evening. My shoot went extra long, and Mable was the last to be picked up. Jade was over the top flexible. Mable had a great day with Jade and friends. I highly recommend Jade. Conveniently located, easy drop off and pick up.”

“My first time using the rover app, and I got extremely lucky in finding Sang. She has gone above and beyond in taking care of JUJU. I loved how she sent me cute update pics and videos of him; getting all his good angle btw. She provided me with a summary and update of any mood/appetite changes at the end of the day. I’m just really appreciative of the time and genuine care she provided juju with. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone interested in seeking help in pet sitting. You and your pet will not regret it. Thank you Sang ! 😭🙏🏽💕💕💕🌱”

“Karolina was a total sweetheart and my pup Teddie was quick pals with Karolinas little cutie Pumpkin. Would bring Teddie here anytime and know she is in great hands!”

“Sabrina so an excellent friend and sitter to my Rocky ! She messaged me early in the morning and took my request even though it was so last minute. My pup had so much fun”

“We felt immediately safe leaving our dogs with Donghae and he proved we made the right call every step of the way. He ran the show like a seasoned pro and made it look effortless. He sent us plenty of photos, followed every instruction like it was top secret protocol and kept everything running smoother than a well oiled machine. Even my classy Angelina, who spent half the time acting as though she was too heartbroken to eat, was clearly in good hands and still had a blast at the park. Donghae over delivered in every category and we will absolutely book with him again. Thanks so much Donghae!”

“James was great with Zac and made everything easy and stress free. I really appreciated the care, communication, and attention he gave during the stay. Would definitely book with him again. 😊”

“Qiwen was the absolute best. She took such good care of my baby. She was very flexible and sweet, and she sent me the best photos of him. I loved her! Next time we’re in LA, we will definitely contact her again to take care of our baby.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Chao, she provided great care and my dog seemed very happy after her daycare stay. The communication was awesome and she responded quickly when we checked in. 10/10 would recommend and book with her again!”

“Thank you for taking care Taco! Taco has separation anxiety but seems like he had fun with other furry friends and was cared well! Very great experience and will definitely book more in the future.”

“Ying and her little puppy Jax have helped our Lucy so much in recovering from her trauma from her previous sitter the week prior. Ying and Jax made Lucy happy and we are happy we got to connect with them. Thank you so much Ying and Jax for welcoming our Lucy to your home and for taking care of her.”

“Once again I can't thank you enough for your amazing services. I can always tell how happy Hilo is after visiting with you. His normal hyper self comes home calm and relaxed. Thanks again and again and agin ...until our next visit.”

“Carley was absolutely amazing with Ryu! She was flexible when it came to drop off and pick up times which was super convenient for me. She kept me updated with photos and videos the whole day. Best of all, Ryu had the time of his life while in her care and made a bunch of new dog friends ☺. 5 stars!! ?????”
“Abhi was super flexible and accommodating! He went out of his way with generosity to help us out for our time at the dodgers game while he took care of Bella. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Jie & Hailong did an amazing job with our 1yr old golden doodle, taking her on a walk & the park to release all her puppy energy! Also, having Echo as a companion throughout the day was just what our dog needed.”

About: I grew up around a lot of pets so I am adept to taking care of them in terms of their food, cleanliness, and activities. However I am not a professional pet trainer so I will not be able to provide training services. My first 2 dogs I got when I was 8 and it was a Shih-Tzu (doo doo) and a Poodle (BoBo). Over the years, my family would adopt and care for 2 great paraneses’ (CoCo and JJ) a bulldog (stinky), a husky (eason), a pitbull (daisy), and would take care of all the babies that came from this bunch haha. I can ensure that your pet will have a good time! I also have my cat, so I know how to handle any “mixtures” of these 2 species haha. I’m currently a University student on break so my schedule is pretty flexible. Let me know whatever works for you, and I’ll do my best to work around it:) I care for pets in my home by providing food, comfort, and making sure their toilet needs are met. Your pet won’t be left alone (unless they wish to be)!

Eric was awesome to work with, was flexible with our drop off and pick up time. Eric’s kindness made it easy to leave OSA with him. He Updated us with photos and OSA enjoyed the company of the other dogs. She seemed to have a great time overall 10 out of 10. We will use Eric again if we are in the area. Thanks man!

Abhi and Tina did such a wonderful job caring for Rocky! Abhi was super communicative, and Rocky was comfortable with him automatically and enjoyed walk and cuddle time! I really appreciated that Abhi was so aware of the heat and made lots of effort to keep Rocky cool. Excited to book again!

Jie & Hailong were wonderful with Bolt and made me feel completely at ease leaving him in their care. They communicated really well, sent lots of adorable updates throughout the day, and took Bolt out several times during daycare. I’d definitely book with them again and highly recommend them!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Los Angeles Downtown commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
