Echo Bark provides the comfort and care of an experienced, loving home with a myriad of playtime activities for the daycare pups like playing fetch, chase and developing lasting relationships with other pups. For the boarders who stay longer than a week (and if they are able) we offer a vigorous exploration of our neighborhood during a late afternoon or early evening walk. My name's Sylvia. My husband, Ethan, and I are creative freelancers who work mostly from home--he is a musician who records in Los Angeles and tours worldwide, while I'm a freelance writer and a private English tutor. We rescued two stray pups--a sister and a brother, who we found huddled in the middle of a busy intersection--and they have been part of our loving family. Our girl Priya unfortunately passed away due to complications from hemolytic anemia, but having the daily bustle of pups in our home has helped Flaco through the mourning process. Prior to that, we grew up as children with family dogs and cats and my husband had a few years experience under his belt as a professional dog walker in Malibu. Our property is flanked by shady bamboo and brilliant bougainvilleas for those pups who enjoy basking in the dappled shade outdoors. Among other amenities, we provide our pups filtered water and freshly grown wheat grass. Inside our dog resting room, they can enjoy vaulted ceilings with big windows for adequate ventilation, cool concrete floors and extra bedding/pillows on bed stands for the overnighters (although advisable that you bring your own to introduce familiar smells.) Prior to their stay, we do require that the pups have their flea meds and required vaccinations up-to-date. LIST OF SERVICES: - Overnight boarding ($55/night)* - Daycare service ($45/day-under 12 hrs)* - Extended daycare ($50/day-over 12 hrs) -For puppies that are less than 1 yo (daycare is $48 and overnight is $58) Extra services provided: - Bathing Sessions ($30) for toy to small breeds (under 30 lbs); ($35) for medium pups (30-45 lbs) - We do offer pickup and drop-off transportation for a flat fee ($27 for either a pickup or drop-off; or a flat rate of $50 for both pickup and drop-off (must be within an 8 mi radius from our home but we are open to negotiations if it’s beyond that limit) *For major holidays, rates for overnighters are $65 and daycare sessions are $55 due to heavy demands. They include (but not limited to): Fourth of July (Jul 4th) Halloween (Oct 31st) Thanksgiving (Nov 24th to 27th) Two weeks in Christmas + New Years combined (from Dec 18th thru Jan 1st) -Next day pick-up for overnighter boarding is usually gratis and we have a flexible policy; however, if the time extends past 12:30p then we will charge the regular daycare rate and you have the option of picking your pup up until 7:30pm.
