my puppy loved the companionship of fellow pups and Gary’s attentiveness. Gary was very flexible with days and start times. His home is very pet friendly with great outdoor space. He wasn’t a afraid of my Border Collies energy level and wanting to incorporate the puppy’s house rules.

I reached out to Katelyn as this was my dog's first time going to dog daycare. We were a bit nervous, but Katelyn was really supportive in her communications and flexible with us trying out dog sitting. When we first met Katelyn in person, Yuna (my dog) was already friendly towards Katelyn, so I knew that was a great first step. After dropping Yuna off, Katelyn provided updates shortly after on how Yuna was doing, calming my anxieties about the whole thing. I received photo updates, with good timing on breaks/walks. After picking Yuna up, I could see Yuna was very comfortable with Katelyn, as well as her partner. They took very good care of her and we plan to continue working with Katelyn for future dog daycare dates :)

About: I have pets of my own, more specifically I've had the same chihuahua for 13 years who I bathe, clean, feed, and overall take care of. I try to take her and my other dog on runs in the morning if I'm able to and try my best to keep them physically active. I also feed and take care of multiple stray cats that I come across simply because I want to be, sometimes, the one person that cares for animals who don't have homes. I have a part time job where I mainly work only 25 hours a week so I have more than enough time to take care of your animals! My job is very close to home so there would be no hassle for me to be on time. I have two dogs, a senior 13 year old chihuahua who can still be very playful, but likes to chill more than anything, and a playful 1 year old maltese who can befriend ANY animal! My 1 year old cat can be shy, but not intimidating whatsoever to any animal he meets. I have more than enough space outside and inside depending on if your pet would rather want to chill inside or outside!

I brought my puppy to Los Angeles for an extended work trip - Jade’s place is awesome for a long day of playing, social enrichment, and learning. I love that my puppy was able to get exposure to other dogs and exercise in a safe area. Jade has a perfect set up for dogs to be both stimulated and comfortable. I appreciated how communicative she was, sharing cute updates and videos throughout the day. I will definitely send my puppy to Jade again.

Best experience! We were very hesitant to leave our dog with anyone as we have never boarded him before. Although we used Rover once in a different city, with satisfactory results. Upon immediately meeting Jae Woun, we knew we made the right choice. She was so warm and friendly, immediately taking a liking to our dog, Sam. Jae Woun also sent us pictures of her apartment and outdoor space, which helped put us at ease. She sent pictures and videos daily, with updates on how Sam was doing, from his eating habits to his daily walks. Being new to LA, couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thank you Jae Woun! Sam says Hi!

My first time using the rover app, and I got extremely lucky in finding Sang. She has gone above and beyond in taking care of JUJU. I loved how she sent me cute update pics and videos of him; getting all his good angle btw. She provided me with a summary and update of any mood/appetite changes at the end of the day. I’m just really appreciative of the time and genuine care she provided juju with. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone interested in seeking help in pet sitting. You and your pet will not regret it. Thank you Sang ! 😭🙏🏽💕💕💕🌱

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been caring for them for many years. I have my own pug, so I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I treat every dog like my own, paying close attention to their routine, personality, and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I make sure they receive plenty of care, patience, and affection. My goal is to give every pet a calm, stress-free experience and every owner complete peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Because my work hours are flexible, I can often accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend bookings. I always make sure each pet gets the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s regular routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and daily routines. I create a calm, clean, and stress-free environment where pets can feel secure. During walks I stay alert, avoid unsafe situations, and always keep dogs safely leashed unless instructed otherwise. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I grew up around pets and have spent years casually sitting for friends and family, so I'm comfortable and confident with animals of all sizes, including large dogs. My loft apartment offers a ton of open space, which is great for dogs who need room to move. I am especially good with young, active puppies, and I know how to keep them mentally stimulated and engaged, even on hot days when outdoor time is limited. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and pet care fits naturally into my day. I am an early riser and happy to take on morning walks, plus I can check in, feed, and play throughout the day rather than squeezing everything into a narrow window. This also means I can keep an eye on pets during hot afternoons and adjust activity levels as needed. I have open weekend availability as well. My loft apartment has plenty of open space, which is ideal for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, to move around comfortably, and all my plants are pet safe. When pets stay with me, I keep a consistent routine of feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure the space is secure and free of hazards before they arrive. For drop-ins and house sitting at a client's home, I follow the owner's existing routine and instructions closely, from feeding schedules to specific safety needs, so the pet's environment stays as familiar and comfortable as possible. On walks, I stay attentive to the dog's pace, the weather, and their comfort level, especially during hot afternoons.

Definitely 5 stars and I would give more if I could! Best sitter on Rover I must admit, she has been sitting for my dog for 2 years and I can't imagine leaving my dog with someone else. She is the best, I went out of state for 3 months and she did a wonderful job sitting for my dog! She sent pictures and videos daily and wven allowed me to video call. I highly recommend her, I travel all the way from Hollywood to LA just for her to sit for my dog, I am serious when I say that she is the only one I trust to sit for my little poodle. Thank you and I will be booking soon!!

Our experience with Sabrina has been nothing below excellent. What really made me know it was going well was my husband who constantly worries about the dog… wasn’t. And he was able to have one less thing to stress about. We’re very grateful for the great care she gave our girl and will absolutely be calling her again in the future for daycare. Thanks again!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Huntington Park

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Huntington Park on Rover is $77.15 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 8,630 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Huntington Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Huntington Park commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 8,630 sitters in Huntington Park, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
