I live in a pet-friendly apartment with no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention. We have a dedicated dog shower, and I’m happy to give them a bath if needed, with your permission. They’ll enjoy regular walks around the neighborhood, with exercise tailored to their age, energy, and comfort. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine and care instructions to help them feel settled, keep them on a lead during walks, and send you regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I had an English Cocker Spaniel growing up, as well as a Miniature Schnauzer that lives back in Russia with my parents, who is now 17 years old! :) I lived with a Shiba Inu for the first few months of his life and know their personality really well. I always happily take care of my friends’ dogs when they’re away. I have extensive experience with Spaniels, Miniature Schnauzers, Cavapoos, Shiba Inu, Dalmatians and others, as you may see in the photos. I work from home, 8-4 PST, Monday to Friday, and happy to keep a dog company while at it - he’ll do the same for me! I live in an apartment, no yard, I’d never leave the dog out of sight. While on a walk, the dog would always be on a leash.

About: I’ve been a dog dad my entire life and genuinely love caring for dogs. To me, dogs are family, and there’s nothing better than seeing them happy, comfortable, and enjoying life. I’ve had dogs of all different personalities, sizes, and ages, including my current Lab and Terrier, as well as a Pit Bull and Maltese earlier in life. I’m comfortable caring for young, senior, big, and small dogs, and I understand that every dog has different needs, routines, and personalities. I’m attentive to the little things; knowing when a dog needs food, water, exercise, attention, space, or simply some time to settle in. I’m also very comfortable reading dog behavior and body language and knowing when to engage, when to give them space, and when something seems off. I live in DTLA, so I’m definitely an urbanite, but I love getting my dogs out of the city. We go to the park every day, and on weekends I like taking them out to nature where they can run, explore, sniff around, and just be dogs. I’d love to give your pup that same balance of city life, exercise, adventure, and plenty of attention. We recently lost our Pit Bull, and our Lab has been missing having a canine companion around. He’s extremely friendly with dogs of all sizes and loves having a buddy to hang out with. I work remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day and able to give dogs plenty of attention and take care of whatever they need. I live with my partner, and our normal routine is taking our dog out three times a day: a morning walk, an afternoon trip to our local park on Spring Street, and another walk before bed. Your dog would naturally join us in that routine. We’re in the Historic Core of DTLA, which is surprisingly very dog friendly. There are dog parents and pups everywhere, and our local park has a great little dog community where everyone knows each other and the dogs generally get along really well. During the week, if the weather isn’t too hot and we have the time, we’ll sometimes take the dogs out for a longer walk around the Historic Core. On weekends, we like to switch it up with a bigger park, an easy hike, or even a trip to the beach when the timing and weather cooperate. For the most part, though, it’s a pretty relaxed routine. Since I’m home working, I’m able to keep an eye on the dogs throughout the day, make sure they have water, give them attention and playtime, and take care of anything else they might need. Our home is set up pretty well for dogs. We have a large apartment with plenty of space to move around, lots of windows to look out of, and room for a dog to find their own comfortable spot and lounge throughout the day. When a dog stays with us, I want them to feel like they’re at home, not like they’re being boarded somewhere. I’ll keep their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routine as much as possible and make sure they get plenty of attention without overwhelming them. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions or routines that make your dog feel more comfortable. Since I work from home, I’m able to be pretty hands on throughout the day and keep an eye on how they’re doing.
