To make sure nothing gets damaged, I would make sure all the doors are closed and watch the pet so it does not break anything. I would prefer being able to go outside to a yard/park so the pet has more room to play around. For a cat, I would give it space to get comfortable with me and give its treats to know I am not a threat. I will be respectful of my client's home and make sure to leave everything how it was.

I would like to know if the dog has any special conditions or if there's anything specific that they don't respond well. For example my sister's chihuahua hates a certain sound and gets very aggressive and jittery whenever he hears it. For cats, it would be helpful to know where their common hiding spots are to ensure they are not lost and I can eventually get them comfortable with me.
A typical day
I will make sure to bring some fun toys for the dogs to play with and plan to take them outside to a park . If the dogs has a favorite toys I would like to know so I can take it with us for him to play with. For cats I would make sure they have toys to be entertained or give them space to take their naps.

I grew up in a family full of dogs of all sizes. I have fostered many dogs and cats as well. I regularly take care of my sister’s pitbull and chihuahua while they take trips. I also own 2 cats and plan to soon get a dog!
