Pet care experience
I love taking care of dogs.
I've had dogs all my life and have always had a household full. My home is very dog friendly where they can come in and out of the house through a pet door to a big back yard and they basically have the run of the house. I treat them like family (I have 2 small dogs of my own). I've been taking care of the same dogs on and off since 2010 and the owner absolutely loves the care I give her two Schnauzers. I volunteered at the local humane society for six years before becoming a pet sitter. When in my care, dog owners need not worry about anything. They are in a home environment and get the loving care they are accustom to. I am assisted by my husband and adult son who lives with us in caring for the dogs. Dogs in my care make themselves at home very quickly. If a dog needs special care/treatment that is not a problem. I have experience in administering medication, injections and am a great teeth brusher! Most of all, the dogs in my care get the same love my own dogs get and they can sense this very quickly. I am very fortunate to live walking distance to a state-of-the-art dog park where dogs can run and play freely in a safe environment.

Albane was really sweet and understanding to my senior dog as she has one herself nearly the same age and size. Neighborhood is perfect for dog walks and her home is very lovely and welcoming for anyone who want to leave their pet there in good hands. Unfortunately my dog has severe separation anxiety and she just wasn’t appreciating it and I do feel bad Albane and her husband had to go through with her barking for so long. They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. I would definitely have her stay again if her anxiety didn’t make it difficult for those watching. I still recommend to anyone considering.
The outstanding care of my two small dogs by Albane always gives me the confidence to make the important business and personal trips I need to make in my life. I could not be happier with her care of my pups!
My two small terriers had the best treatment and care that I can imagine at Albane's house. Daily email update, with photos, during my trip away, kept me in touch with zero concerns. Simply fantastic service! Steve B.
Albane is one of the best Rovers I've ever had & I use Rover almost every day! She's conscientious, communicative, and very kind. Her home is beautiful and has an incredible bed set up. Sophie slept overnight right next to her and Albane sent several great photos. I'll definitely use her again when I come to LA. Thank you so much! 🌻
My pups had another excellent stay with Albane. She’s so caring and nurturing towards them and I always know they will be loved like they were her own.
Albane & her husband are just wonderful!! Daily pictures of morning & afternoon walks, and sometimes even during lunch & treat times. Muffin & Toby were in the best hands. Cannot recommend enough and will be back very soon!! Thank you!!

Schedule
I'm retired so I have a lot of time so being a dog sitter is ideal for my lifestyle. My canine guests have the run of the house as do my own dogs.

A typical day
The dogs I take care of in my home will be walked daily. We live near a state-of-the-art dog park so if owner permitting I will take them there (in walking distance). We have a big fenced backyard so they can also play with my own dogs when they are at home.
