About: Experienced with both cats and dogs! I helped raise my past partner’s puppy when we first got him at 4 months old. Over the last 2.5 years, I’ve dog sat neighbors’ pups and dogs, hosted play dates with friends’ dogs, and learned a lot about how to walk and care for them. I was recently laid off of my remote job, so I’m very flexible to fit your pet care needs. For example, I can stop by to take your pup on an afternoon walk or late evening if you’re running late from work! Your pets’ safety is my number one concern! In my home, I always make sure I’m ready and my dog is leashed before we head out the door. I pack water and treats. When I’ve had dog play dates, we keep the gate closed so they don’t run out. I am detail oriented so if you have special needs or a specific checklist to care for your pup, that shouldn’t be a problem for me. For cats, I ensure not to leave any food out and am very aware of how sneaky they can be getting into things. I have learned a lot about the patience needed to get cats to warm up to you, so I’d be sure to bring that to every home and cat I care for.
