Full-time, Customized, Loving Care
For nearly two decades, my neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets when they are away. I have extensive experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages and needs. Not only can I take your high-energy dog for a long walk or run, I will also slow things down to give your elderly pet the time and attention they need. I’m known for never refusing a belly rub and always loving your pets like my own. I am also happy to check up on aquarium dwellers (like my client who has goldfish!)

I live in the town where Karah went to College. They charge a fair rate and they've been really helpful with my partner's cats (we have two of them and my partner has been fostering on and off for a few years now so there are sometimes four cats in the house). At one point we had a pair of particularly troubled foster kitties who got some skin thing and needed special baths. Karah was willing to do this twice a day while we were on vacation. I don't know what we would have done without them!
Karah was wonderful with my two cats, Misha and Dory. Dory needed daily oral medication while we were away and Karah was so good and patient with her, sending me updates throughout the week. Having someone I could trust so completely made our trip so much easier! I would trust Karah with my cats again in a heartbeat and definitely highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter who is friendly, responsible, and clearly an animal lover!
Karah loves dogs and has had pet dogs all her life. She is a responsible, caring and attentive caregiver to her dogs, as well as the dogs she has pet-sit over the years. Always keeping the health and well-being of the dogs in mind, Karah ensures they receive their daily needs - nutrition, hydration, exercise, training and love. She has excellent organizational skills and is available to her customers should they need to contact her. Some of my favorite "Karah" qualities are intelligence, friendliness, strength, capability and her easy-going and fun personality. In a word, Karah is a joy!
Karah has walked my dog Gigi for years now. Gigi absolutely LOVES Karah and always gets so excited when they walk in. Karah is also an athlete and will run Gigi or take her to the park with her ball to get her extra tired for us. I HIGHLY recommend letting Karah take care of your pets.
Karah is a personable and compassionate young woman. She grew up with pets, so is comfortable and knowledgeable about caring for animals. When you meet Karah, you will see her deep affection and appreciation for the important place our pets have in families.
Karah has been a really great, trustworthy, and dependable caregiver for our young dog Millie. Millie is still learning manners and can be a little much at times. Karah takes this all in stride with patience and kindness, and always goes the extra mile to make sure she's happily tired out at the end of the day. Karah also has a very well behaved and calm dog, Gigi! Gigi is one of the friendliest creatures and a great role model for Millie. Needless to say, Millie is obsessed with both of them. Fair warning, your animals will absolutely love Karah and Gigi too. I highly recommend their services, they rock!

Schedule
I am a professional dancer and summer is the slow season, so I have flexible hours that can fit anyone’s busy day. I am available for daytime check-ins, walks, and daycare any day of the week. My schedule easily allows for pet pickups/drop offs and house sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I am home most of the day to keep your dog company. If I am out of the house it usually will only be for a couple hours and I have a very friendly dog who will comfort your dog in my absence. Because I am home most of the time, I can do exercise and potty breaks as frequently as you would like.

A typical day
I love long walks around the parks in my neighborhood, there’s a treasure trove of things to smell! We can also drive a few minutes away for nature trails to hike and run on. Or it’s great to keep it simple and play with the dogs at home! My dog Gigi loves her doggy playmates.
