“My pets loved Mike right as they met him. He was flexible, kind, and overall a great sitter. We had to change trip dates and later we worked in an additional visit on the schedule. We had very limited cellphone reception while out of town and were happy that he was communicating as needed. We will definitely book him again!”

“Jessica was quick and easy to communicate with, both before confirming a booking and throughout her time with our kitties. She always gave great and informative updates and provided lots of pictures, as well as pets, cuddles, and playtime for the cats! We felt very comfortable entrusting our cats to her during our trip.”

About: I've taken care of family and friends' pets for many years. I began learning to understand dog behavior when I became a volunteer dog walker at the Utah Humane Society in middle school. Since then, going on long walks and hikes has been one of my favorite things to do (along with giving belly rubs and snuggles!); with my car I can easily travel to good spots. I am very flexible person who can do both long and short walks, whatever your dog might need! I will take very good care of your dog and I can't wait to meet them! I'm currently an open book, available to work most hours. When I'm not booked, I will be trying to begin my own website design business. I won't take work on Sundays for faith purposes but I can work the rest of the weekend. I will always give time for a meet and greet session, especially at the beginning of our acquaintance. I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable before we begin working together:) When I'm visiting your home, I am more than willing to take your dog outside to play and give your pet plenty of love and attention. I'll treat the space of your home with the utmost respect. I will follow any detailed instructions pet owners share for mealtime, walks, training/tricks, dog parks, toy rules, and general schedules.
“Limari is a wonderful cat sitter. Our kitty is older and needs a bit of extra care, and Limari handled all the details perfectly. She sent thorough updates and was very timely with her visits as well. We look forward to having her watch our kitty again, and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”
“April was a wonderful cat sitter! She was responsive and professional and took great care of our little buddy while we were away. I will definitely have her look after him again.”

“Kyle was invaluable by looking after our reptiles on short notice that we were able to have peace of mind while abroad without having to board then. We definitely would recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“Shelby was great!!! Really gave us peace of mind on our long trip. Tons of daily photos from our fluff babies and she responded quickly if we ever needed anything! Cant recommend her more!”

“Namie was lovely to work with and very communicative during her check-in with my 2 big girls! They felt comfortable with Namie right away, which was a huge relief as a first-time Rover user. She left us multiple pictures, and we would definitely book with her again!”

About: For nearly two decades, my neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets when they are away. I have extensive experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages and needs. Not only can I take your high-energy dog for a long walk or run, I will also slow things down to give your elderly pet the time and attention they need. I’m known for never refusing a belly rub and always loving your pets like my own. I am also happy to check up on aquarium dwellers (like my client who has goldfish!) I am a professional dancer and summer is the slow season, so I have flexible hours that can fit anyone’s busy day. I am available for daytime check-ins, walks, and daycare any day of the week. My schedule easily allows for pet pickups/drop offs and house sitting. I am home most of the day to keep your dog company. If I am out of the house it usually will only be for a couple hours and I have a very friendly dog who will comfort your dog in my absence. Because I am home most of the time, I can do exercise and potty breaks as frequently as you would like.
About: ***UPDATE! Opening my profile up to new clients again after about a year, as I have some openings! Feel free to reach out with inquiries!*** I have had dogs my entire life, and what can I say — I just love them. I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and even spent a few years training dogs at the American Kennel Club (AKC). I rescued my own pup nearly 10 years ago, and rescued my cat ~5 years ago now-- and have since been equally obsessed with felines. They’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect. Over the years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, before opening my network to my neighborhood. ***Key Notes: - Currently, I am open for dog walking and dog/cat drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions! - For 60-minute walks, depending on location, weather and your comfort level, I can take your pup(s) for a hike or trail-run nearby! - I have a range of experience, from energetic and exercise-craving dogs to elderly pups who require gentle care and a patient, slower speed. I love providing care for either side of the spectrum, and all in between. The bottom line is: the safety of your dog/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my dog and cat, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to know what makes your beloved pet unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. I’m a good communicator — from medications to leash/sidewalk politics to triggers and everything in between, you can rest assured we will be on the same page. I have experience caring for all shapes and sizes: - Chihuahuas and Terriers (my dog Jack is a mix!) - Bernese Mountain Dogs - Border Collie Mixes - Shepherds - Staffy’s - Golden Retrievers - Shelties - Samoyeds - King Charles - Schnauzers - Norwegian Forest Cats - Tabbies I am happy to take on puppies/kittens and can integrate any training you might be working on with your fur-kiddo. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most walks and drop-ins depending on your needs. Just shoot me a request and I’ll get back to you right away. I treat everyone’s home with the same respect I expect at my own. I also take privacy very seriously. I am always happy to do meet-and-greets at a public park (or similar) before services. Again, I get it — you're trusting someone new in your home and with your animals. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible!
“My pup hasn’t really had an appetite but Sophia was able to get him to eat based all my detailed instructions. I really appreciate her help, she’s always ready and reliable.”

“This review is long overdue! Kelly was great with my cat Helen :) She really knows cats and let Helen come to her. Kelly also takes some very sweet pictures, I’m planning on booking with her again! In addition Kelly is very flexible and I appreciate the level of contact she provided.”

For every car ride, I use a rear-seat dog hammock and canine seat belts to keep your pup safe and comfortable while I drive them around town. I'm also happy to schedule a Meet & Greet before your booking so everyone—especially your dog—can feel confident it's the right fit.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Knoll
Camille was very nice and communicative. We have very shy cats and this was their first visit with Camille. While they didn’t come out, it’s typical for them, and I think they will warm up to her quickly. She also let us know when we had a problem with some mail and was very helpful.

Neysa was amazing! My boys are very skittish around peeps they don’t know and they took to her so quickly! She also helped with a few other items we needed being out of town for so long. She also sent great updates and photos of my boys during each visit. Neysa will be our go to for sure the next time we are out of town 😊 and I’m sure my boys already miss her!

April is the absolute best!! Our cat loves her and she spends quality time playing and cuddling with him. She also sends great updates and pictures so I am never worried about him when I’m gone. She is quick to communicate and is very friendly and flexible. This was my second time booking with her; so happy to have found such a reliable cat sitter!

If I could give Mari ten stars (or fifty), I would. She is absolutely great. She goes above and beyond. She clearly loves and understands animals, and she bonded with my cat during her introductory visit. My only concern is that my cat might prefer Mari to me henceforth (I'm only half joking.). I am sure she would be fine with dogs too. Hire her and you can be certain your pet is extremely well cared for while you are away.

Amanda was very helpful and accommodating while taking care of my two cats. She always sent photo updates and would let me know of any issues. She would try to plan ahead for the visits and was also patient while working with me to troubleshoot any unexpected issues. I would definitely have Amanda take care of my boys again and would recommend her to others

Shari is truly a gem of a human being. She takes excellent care of my wee fur babies and goes above the request with care of our home, too. One fur baby is a bit shy and Shari’s consistency pays off and my other fur baby is an ambassador and loves Shari’s care and attention. Shari is conscientious, caring, and committed to the care of the animals who she is in charge of - book her now!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
