What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

About: I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely care about the animals I watch. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they’re safe and comfortable while in my care I have a senior dog of my own, so I’m very familiar with routines, medications, and taking things at an older pet’s pace. Over the years I’ve watched dogs, cats, turtles, birds, snakes, and just about anything else you can think of. I spent many years as a teacher, but recently made the decision to step into a slower pace of life. Now I’m available daily for pet visits or dogs walks. My neighborhood is great for walks with the ability to stay on quieter streets if your dog prefers less traffic noise. Regarding care in your home, I am happy to follow all instructions that keep your pet comfortable in their space. I find it very important to keep your dog's schedule as normal as possible to avoid any distress while you are away.

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I volunteer at two cat shelters, where I’ve handled everything from feeding and administering medication to socializing shy or nervous cats. At home, I have 6 cats of my own, so I’m well-versed in the daily care, behavior patterns, and little quirks that make each cat unique. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just making sure they feel safe and comfortable, I truly love spending time with cats and understanding what makes them tick. I work from home and on a super flexible schedule so I have a lot of time on my hands. I love cats and any time I can spend around them is time well spent :) I know cats are creatures of habit so I will try my best to follow your instructions closely and make them feel as comfortable as possible. About: I am excited to be back! Took a break and became a mom to two beautiful girls. I have taken care of dogs for about 7 years now. I have always wanted a dog and until I got my own two pups, I would always pupsit or taken friends dog out for walks, feed them, etc. while they were away or when my friends needed a break or extra help during busy times/holidays. My job is flexible and I can work from home or visit my home frequently throughout the day. I am available on the weekends and I am proud homebody but do enjoy walks or playing outside in the backyard. I have a fenced backyard with agility toys, dog toys and and two friendly dogs that will keep your fur baby company (if they want it)! We are all about individual needs but my dogs have playing energy to spare!

Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy. But after our meet and greet with Janelle and Alvin, I immediately felt at ease and knew our babies would be in great hands. I’m so happy to say that instinct was absolutely right. They took care of our two dogs for two days, and the entire experience was seamless. Janelle was incredible with communication! She sent updates and photos regularly without me ever needing to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Both Janelle and Alvin have such a calm, kind demeanor, and their home is clean, cozy, and clearly a safe space for pets. “Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
