“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. After a lot of patience and creating a safe environment for the two of them, my cat and dog are now besties! At the same time, they’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect :). About: I've taken care of family and friends' pets for many years. I began learning to understand dog behavior when I became a volunteer dog walker at the Utah Humane Society in middle school. Since then, going on long walks and hikes has been one of my favorite things to do (along with giving belly rubs and snuggles!); with my car I can easily travel to good spots. I am very flexible person who can do both long and short walks, whatever your dog might need! I will take very good care of your dog and I can't wait to meet them! About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

About: I rescued my dog Gabbi 10 years ago, as she was surrendered from an overcrowded home. She is a 14 lb mixed breed who is the boss in this house. Since having her, I’ve dog sat for multiple friends, overnight, including a Samoyed, Pitbull, German Shepherd, and Rottweiler mix. My dog is around 13 years old and doesn’t enjoy playing with other dogs, but she’ll happily go on a long walk together! She also likes her personal space and can make it known, but she’s never had any major issues with other dogs. She resource guards, so I keep feeding time separate. I work from home full time M-F, between 9am-5pm. I have a generally flexible schedule, taking meetings throughout the day. I like to take the dogs out throughout my work day as a way to keep me awake! I live in a townhome style condo with a small fenced patio. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to take the dogs out. I will happily adopt your dog’s usual schedule to keep them as regulated as possible.

“What more can I say? Athene took amazing care of our Aussie Chip. We had to go on a family trip for 7 days and we were more than nervous since Chip was not neutered yet and he is still a young pup with tons of energy. She let us have a trial day care and he loved it! She responded super fast and made sure your pup is A-Ok. Her yard is super clean and dog friendly as well. Overall, shes so professional and took extremely good care of our dog. We even had a cancelled flight and she was able to help us out with extending the dates. Definitely will go to her again!”
