“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I've been the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. Most of that has been in-home care: feeding, fresh water, litter and cleanup, medication, and staying long enough that the animal actually gets some company instead of a rushed visit. I'm newer to walking dogs specifically, so I want to be upfront about that. What I bring is patience, consistency, and attention to how an animal is actually doing rather than just checking a box. I read body language well, I'll follow your routine exactly as you describe it, and I'd rather ask you a question than guess. If your dog needs anything particular on a walk, tell me and I'll do it that way every time. I run a tutoring business and my sessions don't start until the afternoon, so my weekday mornings and midday are completely open. That makes me a good fit for the late-morning to early-afternoon window when most dogs have been alone for hours and need to get out. I'm consistent week to week, so if you want the same time every Monday through Friday I can hold that slot for you. I'm offering walks and drop-ins only. Since I'm walking your dog in your own neighborhood, my attention is on your home and your street. I double-check gates and doors going in and out, keep the leash clipped until we're fully back inside, and I don't use retractable leashes. I keep dogs out of unfenced front yards and away from other dogs unless you've told me yours is friendly and you want the greeting. I'll follow whatever routine you already have, including which door you use, where the leash lives, and whether your dog gets water or a treat afterward. At home I have a fully fenced yard and cats, so I'm used to being deliberate about containment. If anything goes wrong on a walk you'll hear from me right away, not at the end of the day.
About: This year, 2026, marks my second anniversary of being a cat mom to Cinna-- like 'cinnamon' & the Hunger Games character. While she's a friendly, spayed kitty, she can be kept in a space separate from guests upon request. On the job, your fur baby is my priority!

About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.

About: I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely care about the animals I watch. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they’re safe and comfortable while in my care I have a senior dog of my own, so I’m very familiar with routines, medications, and taking things at an older pet’s pace. About: Thanks for checking out my profile! Worried about your fur babies safety and care when your not home? Don’t worry I've been around dogs since I was a kid. I grew up around chihuahuas, huskies, pomeranian mixes, shiba inus, Korean Jindo dogs, cats, fishes, and more. Spending time with all of these breeds I have ample experience bathing, walking, and feeding our pets. Fun fact about me: I also graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in human biology and a minor in environmental systems. Two years ago, I adopted an adolescent 3 year old cat from a local shelter and have been caring for him ever since. He is a rambunctious kitty and I have learned fun and creative ways to get him to exercise and stay fairly fit. Just 7 months ago, I adopted my first personal dog, Luna a 1.5 year old puppy from Korea. Under my guidance and training, I've learned that she is incredibly talented and picks up tricks and skills so quickly. For example, I trained her to jump on rocks, benches, etc... on command, she can differentiate the differences between sit-pretty and stand on her hind legs. Basic commands like sit, down, stay, paw, spin, come, etc... I take her on multiple hour long walks every day, and would love the opportunity to spend time and dedicated care with your fur babies as well! I would love to dedicate my time to caring for your pets, either through long walks or pet check-ins, because they deserve to be well looked after while their parents are away from home. WHAT TO EXPECT: I will arrive 5-10 minutes early and get your dog ready for a walk. Your dog will get a full 30-minute (or 60-minute) walk. Then I'll drop your dog off at home, refill their water, and give any last-minute pets for 5 minutes. Rover cards and pictures will be shared once the walk is complete :D During the walk with your dog, I will always: 1. Ensure provided equipment and leashes are safe and secure to use (as well as bring my own in case of emergencies) 2. Ensure your dog's favorite treats are in my training pouch before the walk 3. Provide ample water for your pet during/after their walk 4. Scan and be observant of my surroundings to ensure your dog's safety 5. Cross the street to avoid any on-leash greetings or off-leash dogs During the pet (30-minute) check-ins with your pet, I will always: 1. Spend 5 minutes carefully entering your home and kindly greeting your pet with their favorite treat 2. Take them on a 10-minute potty break outside if needed 3. About: Back home in Atlanta, GA, I cared for our family's dogs that lived to ten and fifteen years old, with our youngest dog turning fourteen this year. From walks on the leash, to fenced yard time, to cleaning indoor accidents, every animal deserves the care needed to live a happy, healthy life. About: I have extensive experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I volunteer at two cat shelters, where I’ve handled everything from feeding and administering medication to socializing shy or nervous cats. “Jake loved staying with Kiyomi and we highly recommend her. She went above and beyond with bellyrubs and lots of attention to make sure he felt at ease while we were away. Communication was excellent as we received several photos per day of them going on walks or chilling at home. It was clear she wanted to make Jake feel as comfortable as possible from prioritizing his stairs to get on the bed to leaving one of our shirts out for him to lay on. She also offered to pick him up before our flight, which was a huge help! We will definitely be reaching back out next time we need someone to watch Jake. * I also wanted to note that our review here is a genuine 5 star review. I am pretty picky about who we leave Jake with and have left him with other sitters in LA in the past who had lots of 5 star ratings that I felt were not deserved but I had the opposite experience with Kiyomi who outperformed our expectations. Given our lackluster experience with dog sitters in LA in the past we were a bit apprehensive about leaving Jake but Kiyomi materially allayed those fears and we will definitely be reaching out again next time we go away as Jake was in very good hands.”
