Hi Everyone - ***While I do love dogs, I am here on Rover as a Cat sitter. *** As someone who's had cats the majority of my life, I definitely understand wanting to find someone to look after them who is a good match. Along with my pure love for the kitties, I think one of the most important things I can offer is my ability to attend to each individual cat and try to understand their special personality and what they might want or need from their time with me. This is something I've especially been working on with my cat, Damiel. He came from a hoarding situation, and needed some extra time to become more socialized and bonded with me. In the 8 years he's been with me, Damiel has slowly but surely gone from cringing away from pets to rubbing his chin on my hand and snuggling up at bedtime. I also have many friends with cats - all with different situations - and I completely get how different cats and their families will have different routines, and how incredibly important it is to try to maintain that routine for the kitties. And finally, I included a pic here of me with Apollo - a cat I met while visiting a new bookshop recently. When I knelt down to meet and pet him, he demanded some lap time, and I was forced to peruse cookbooks while he napped. :) But I appreciate that he trusted me so quickly and found me a welcoming...uh...bed. I share the pic here because that's pretty much how cats usually are with me. I look forward to meeting your kitties, too!

I am very mindful of making sure my cat clients feel secure and comfortable with me. As a cat owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave them alone with a new person!

Kelly did a fantastic job caring for our cat Whiskers while we were out of the country for 2 1/2 weeks. In addition to taking care of her basic needs, she played with her and gave her lots of affection. We really enjoyed receiving her updates and pictures. She was also very responsive to my messages. Highly recommended!
I spent a long time looking for the perfect rover cat sitter, and Kelly is it! She played with them, and I could tell they were less bored while I was away. She was reliable and put my mind at ease. I loved all the pictures and appreciate all the attention and kindness she gave my two kitties. Thank you, Kelly!!
Kelly was great with our cats and we could tell she really cared. When our boy wasn’t eating much, she went out of her way to find food that would be more appetizing to him. We were worried about going on vacation and leaving our cats but they were in very capable hands and we’ll feel a lot more confident about leaving them in the future.
Kelly did a great job keeping our kitties happy and healthy for our extended trip away!

Schedule
My day job is fully remote, which allows me flexibility to visit your kitty, especially mornings and evenings. My first am visit is around 8/8.30am, depending on location and other appointments I have that day.
- CatsKelly can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- I will definitely want to meet with you and your cat before I look after them for you. But I'd also like to understand what to expect, both during our early visits, and how their personality will come through as we get to know each other. Of course, please let me know any special instructions about food, play, areas of the house your cat can be in, too.
