“Kyle was invaluable by looking after our reptiles on short notice that we were able to have peace of mind while abroad without having to board then. We definitely would recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“It makes such a difference to have someone as trustworthy and professional as Joy to take care of our kitties. From the photos and updates she sends, it is clear they live having her visit with our Puma and Reina. We appreciate her consistency, attention to detail and from bringing our packages/deliveries into the house when we are away. She's very good at making sure everything is done right.”
“My pup hasn’t really had an appetite but Sophia was able to get him to eat based all my detailed instructions. I really appreciate her help, she’s always ready and reliable.”

“Shelby’s photo skills are unmatched! She kept us informed and in the loop the whole time we were gone. She is a conscientious communicator and is fun to work with. She is definitely our new go to!!”

“Saemi came over a couple of times while I was out all day and made sure my two dogs were taken care of. They are completely opposite—one big and super excited, and one small and timid—and she was able to adapt to each of their needs at once. I have boarded with Saemi before and I know I can be away from my pets without worry when they are with her! Thanks Saemi!”

“Paul has a great demeanor with dogs and puts them at ease. He is very responsible and we felt completely confident having him walk our 2 little dogs. They were happy to see him and trotted right out after the first meeting.”

“Dean was great! We needed a last-minute sitter for a weekend trip and they were very quick to respond, flexible with the scheduling, and took great care of our kitty. :) Thanks Dean!”

About: I look forward to sharing my love and attention with pets whose people need a helping hand. I grew up with multiple cats and dogs and became responsible for my own dog at 12. Together my dog and I successfully completed her Canine Good Citizen training where I learned about effective motivation and discipline, animal safety and public etiquette. Throughout my life, I have regularly volunteered with local animal shelters to assist with dog walking and cat socialization and recently I have been helping my housemate with her dog boarding business. I am working part time this summer with flexible hours that give me lots of free time and availability for pet care. I am an active person and would love to walk or jog with your pup. Safety always comes first. Beyond that, each pet is unique and I prefer to follow owner guidelines and routines that make their pet most comfortable. Having your person go away can be very stressful for a pet, so I always do my best to be attentive to their needs while maintaining a calm and familiar environment.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have personally lived with 5 cats during my life time and have taken care of dogs outside of my house for friends and family. Of those 5 cats, 3 I have taken care of until they passed away, so I know how to take care of both young and older animals. I am currently a behavior therapist for children with autism. I am a very patient and calm person that extends to both my personal and professional life. It is very important to me to get to have a good relationship with the pet that I am taking care of. I currently work part time as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. I am completely free on the weekends and have time early afternoon and late at night on weekdays to do drop ins or stay the night. I am more than willing to follow any care that is required for the pet in question. I will take the time the play with them, take them on walks, give them food, and medicine if that is something they need. I will make sure they treat your home respectfully as I know from experience that cats and dogs alike enjoy doing things with furniture that they are not supposed to. I will always make sure that your pet is happy and comfortable when around me.
“Mike took great care of our two cats once again. Very communicative and sends lots of pictures. Our very elusive cat even came out of hiding to see him. Highly recommended!”

“Julien looked after my dog Dexter for about a week. This is the first time I have used Rover so I was a little hesitant but Julien was outstanding! Julien followed my requests perfectly and regularly communicated (with photos) regarding Dexter’s progress. I really felt Dexter was happy and well cared for with Julien. Moving forward Julien will be my “go to” for Dexter.”

“Priscilla did a wonderful job taking care of our cat when our original Rover sitter had to cancel at the last minute due to an emergency. She made sure our cat had all the essentials and gave her some play time and cuddle time. Priscilla is very communicative and responds quickly to texts and messages. She sent great updates and photos daily. I highly recommend Priscilla for your pet sitting needs and would hire her again!”

“Namie was lovely to work with and very communicative during her check-in with my 2 big girls! They felt comfortable with Namie right away, which was a huge relief as a first-time Rover user. She left us multiple pictures, and we would definitely book with her again!”

“I’ve had the pleasure of Alicia as my cat sitter several times now and I will continue to book with her! She’s always attentive, communicative, and very sweet with my 2 kitties. They always love when she visits and I love seeing the photos & videos Alicia takes!”

About: (Booking acceptable Jun -Aug) Hi Pasadena fur parents 💛 I’m Yoko, originally from Japan and now living in Pasadena after spending the last few years in Naples, Italy. As a Navy officer’s wife, I’ve been part of close-knit communities where I became the go-to dog walker and sitter for both American and local families. My husband, MD, is also a huge dog lover, and together we’re excited to share our home and give plenty of love to the dogs we care for. People often call me an animal whisperer, I naturally connect with dogs of all personalities, even the shy or reactive ones. I genuinely love animals and treat every pup like part of my family. Whether it’s caring for energetic puppies or giving gentle attention to senior dogs, I approach each one with patience, affection, and respect for their unique needs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I’m also in the process of applying to volunteer at the Pasadena Humane Society to continue learning and giving back to the animal community. Living right in front of Central Park means your dog gets plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and space to explore. Whether you prefer sitting at your place, mine, or just need a reliable walker, I’m flexible and happy to help. Let’s make your dog’s day a little brighter! I’d love to be your trusted new fur friend! 🐕🦺🐕🦮🐩🤍 I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Whether your pup needs early morning energy or evening cuddles, I can adjust to their needs. My flexible schedule also allows me to accommodate last-minute requests when needed. I provide a calm, loving, and pet-friendly environment where your dog can feel safe and at home. I live in a pet-welcoming apartment right across from Central Park, so your pup will enjoy regular walks, fresh air, and a nice balance of play and rest. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed if that’s what they’re used to. I want them to feel completely comfortable and cared for. I’m happy to care for multiple dogs at a time, as long as their personalities are compatible, and I always take time to help each dog feel secure, especially if they’re shy or new to the space. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines and preferences closely to keep things familiar for your dog. I’m respectful, tidy, and always communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands.
“She was so good with Jessica. Usually she's super shy with new people and she immediately im ate treats from Anne. Her energy was great. Clearly she has a connection with the animals. It was less hard going on a trip knowing my cat was in good hands. She also sent the cutest photos.”

“This is our first time using Rover and meeting Lifan. The whole experience was absolutely first class. We met Lifan a few days before our trip and we introduced her to Hargrove, our sweet old lab mix pup. She took fantastic care of him and after each visit we got an update in the form of a note and a few pix of our boy in the garden, having a bite to eat or out on a walk. We were never in doubt that he was receiving superb care and attention and would not hesitate to use both the Rover app and Lifan again. Thank you.”

“Diana took great care of our two dogs. I appreciated the pictures she uploaded with every visit. I could really see how happy the dogs were playing and getting a chance to stroll outside. Her schedule seemed a bit complex, and we had to make some last minute changes, but she was professional and very communicative.”

Diana has pet sit for my cat Mooney several times and she has been great! She sends pictures and is very responsible. She has also been very responsive whenever I reach out which I really appreciate. She has been able to watch my cat on short notice which is huge. Highly recommend!

Camille was an amazing cat sitter! As a cat owner herself, she truly understands how much cat parents care about their pets and the little details that matter. She was very responsive, reliable, and always on time. I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in such caring and capable hands. She kept me updated, followed all instructions carefully, and treated my cats with genuine love and attention. I highly recommend Camille to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional pet sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

She was so good with Jessica. Usually she's super shy with new people and she immediately im ate treats from Anne. Her energy was great. Clearly she has a connection with the animals. It was less hard going on a trip knowing my cat was in good hands. She also sent the cutest photos.

Hannah was a wonderful sitter for both of our kitties while we were out of town for two weeks! She ensured we were up to speed on our cats and was super communicative all throughout the booking. Appreciated her flexibility on some last minute booking changes and would definitely be looking to rebook her in the near future 🙂

Mari is such a pleasant person to be around. She understood exactly what it takes to care for an older cat with health conditions like our Ziggy. I really appreciated the level of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and experience she brought, even with a long list of medications and feeding instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares deeply about both the animals and the people who love them.
