About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, and lizards, of various breeds, sizes and temperaments since I was a teenager. I’m an animal lover, and am very experienced with our more unruly furry friends. As the owner of a reactive dog, I’m well versed in the special care they need in the home, and out on walks. I am not a licensed trainer but have taken many training courses for my own pets over the years. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends. My fiancee and I share our home with a very high energy bull terrier named Billy, and a very lazy cat named Nate. For in client home pet care, I am very respectful of all directions given. As someone who has used both in client home, and drop off services for my own pets, I understand firsthand how important it is to know that your pets are being cared for with all the safety and reliability that they deserve.
“Neysa was spectacular— it was my first time leaving my three little dogs home alone while my partner and I visited family. Neysa was timely, communicative, and great at sending pictures during their drop-in visits; Neysa afforded me peace of mind, and I will definitely rebook when we travel next. I am extremely grateful!”

About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. I treat them all with the patience and kindness they deserve while they are apart from their owners. I'm not living with a pet for the first time in a long time and miss I am working part time, which leaves me very flexible to care for your pets on your schedule as needed for drop in care or longer stays with your pet in their own home including nights, weekends, and overnights. I have a spacious hatchback that I can use to transport your pets. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to a highly allergic roommate, but I can fetch pets and take them wherever they need to be.

About: I have had and cared for dogs since childhood. I have experience with a wide spectrum of breeds, from the larger, more protective (German Shepherd), to the smaller, more energetic breeds (Corgi). I currently have a 13.5YO male Corgi, and have experience caring for senior dogs that require more attentive care (I recently laid my sweet girl to rest at 14.5YO, after a year-and-a-half long battle with kidney failure). In his prime, my little potato and his late sister were quite the herders, so I am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I have less experience with cats, but my empathetic approach allows me to always find common language with my furry friends. I currently work freelance from home, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your (and your fur baby’s) needs. Though, I might need to run errands during the day or take my elderly parents to doctor’s appointments. But I conduct most of my business in the San Gabriel Valley, rarely venturing over to the west side of town, so I am always nearby. My typical day with my senior, indoor corg includes going on a walk (or to the park) 1-2x daily, depending on his energy levels. I feed him 4 meals a day (versus 3) because he has a sensitive tum, and adding another meal later into the night ensures that he doesn’t wake up with an irritated stomach. I wash his food and water bowls daily with a mild soap to reduce exposure to harmful bacteria. When we go on walks, I make sure to give other people walking with dogs a wide berth, especially if they have a larger dog and are preoccupied looking at or talking on their phones. I always scan the ground for potentially harmful things careless people can leave behind, like chicken bones. I also allow my little guy to sniff to his heart’s content, because I read that for dogs, sniffing on walks provides enrichment akin to reading the daily paper.
“Stephanie was great! She took the time to do a pre-meet up with me several days beforehand so she could meet Simon and learn about his schedule and needs. The day of she was prompt and sent me updates during Simon's time with her, including a cute photo. I felt very confident that Stephanie gave Simon great care and I plan to work with her again in the future.”

“Natalia was fantastic!! She did a perfect job caring for our cats while we were out of town, she’s very communicative and professional. My cats warmed up to her quickly and felt comfortable around her. I would 100% book Natalia again for future caretaking needs!”

“Wouldn’t recommend or trust anyone else but Diana to watch our fur babies! They can both be a little high maintenance in their own ways and Diana went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for while we were away. She communicated frequently and sent cute photos! We’re thankful to Diana and can’t wait her to book her next time we need assistance for Eazy & Onyx!”

“Sarah was very awesome with a weekend drop in visit for our two little kittys. She took many photos and was very great with our cats. I felt very comfortable with Sarah. She even came over before hand to introduce herself and even provided a lockbox for us. I would 10/10 recommend Sarah and will definitely be booking again in the future !”

“My pup hasn’t really had an appetite but Sophia was able to get him to eat based all my detailed instructions. I really appreciate her help, she’s always ready and reliable.”

“Laura was wonderful! I would recommend her 100%. She kept me up to date about my cats daily. She always went above and beyond. My cats are slow to warm to strangers and they both came around to Laura very quickly.”

“Sonia is so great with watching our doberman, they get along together great and she plays his favorite games with him. Our dog loves it when Sonia comes to see him!”

“Robin always does an excellent job caring for my cat when I am out of town. I never have to worry about him when she's in charge and that makes all the difference! Highly recommend!!”

“Mari is such a pleasant person to be around. She understood exactly what it takes to care for an older cat with health conditions like our Ziggy. I really appreciated the level of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and experience she brought, even with a long list of medications and feeding instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares deeply about both the animals and the people who love them.”

About: Although I’ve never owned a dog, I grew up with them nonetheless. I have a soft spot for dogs, no matter the breed or size. I’ve been trained in animal behavior and I understand canine body language. I cared for my grandmother’s elderly dog for about two months and I was her primary caregiver. I am currently a high school student so I am booked on weekdays until 2:00pm, weekends I’m completely free! I would love to walk your dogs and care for your sweet kitties in my off time. I have only ever cared for hamsters full time, but even then I made extensive research on how to properly care for hamsters. I know a lot about animal behavior and animal care in general as I am aspiring to become an animal conservationist. I always keep a close eye on pets and I am very attentive. I make sure all their needs are met and that they are happy and healthy. An animals comfort is my greatest goal <3
“We were a little anxious about leaving our elderly cat for a trip, but Shari quickly put our minds at ease. She clearly has a lot of experience with cats, and her daily updates were thorough and reassured us he was in good hands. We highly recommend Shari and will definitely contact her in the future.”

“Vicky was absolutely amazing with our furbabies! From the start, she was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about animals. She kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pets were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter—Vicky truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!”

“She was so good with Jessica. Usually she's super shy with new people and she immediately im ate treats from Anne. Her energy was great. Clearly she has a connection with the animals. It was less hard going on a trip knowing my cat was in good hands. She also sent the cutest photos.”

About: I've had dogs all my life and have always had a household full. My home is very dog friendly where they can come in and out of the house through a pet door to a big back yard and they basically have the run of the house. I treat them like family (I have 2 small dogs of my own). I've been taking care of the same dogs on and off since 2010 and the owner absolutely loves the care I give her two Schnauzers. I volunteered at the local humane society for six years before becoming a pet sitter. When in my care, dog owners need not worry about anything. They are in a home environment and get the loving care they are accustom to. I am assisted by my husband and adult son who lives with us in caring for the dogs. Dogs in my care make themselves at home very quickly. If a dog needs special care/treatment that is not a problem. I have experience in administering medication, injections and am a great teeth brusher! Most of all, the dogs in my care get the same love my own dogs get and they can sense this very quickly. I am very fortunate to live walking distance to a state-of-the-art dog park where dogs can run and play freely in a safe environment. I'm retired so I have a lot of time so being a dog sitter is ideal for my lifestyle. My canine guests have the run of the house as do my own dogs. I treat my canine guests life family. I sleep in the same room with them and am with them all the time since I'm retired.
