“Lifesaver. Not only was our flight delayed for 2 days and Loretta was awesome and so understanding and flexible about it…but she had to evacuate with our dogs due to the recent fires/winds. She was very communicative, sent us pictures regularly throughout the stay, and it was clear from the first meet and greet that she was very attentive and caring with the dogs she took care of (Laika immediately took to her and Phoebe, her dog). They truly go above and beyond to make him feel like he’s just part of their family. Our dog loves playing in their amazing backyard and walking in their beautiful and safe neighborhood! They also put a lot of thought and time into making sure the pack is a good fit so everyone has fun and is comfortable! Beyond being wonderful and caring with him, they were so kind when our flight was delayed this past trip. We’re grateful to have found Janice through Rover. We’ve never used this app before. We have two small dogs: a blind Maltese Poodle (10 y.o.) and an 8-year-old Maltese Terrier. They stayed with Janice and her family for five days. Pet care has never been an issue for us, but we needed a solution for our dogs during this trip. We explored pet hotels in the area but we knew it wasn’t a good idea for our senior dogs, especially the blind one. We met and greeted 3 other Rover service providers, but we felt most comfortable with Janice. She was attentive, asked about our dogs’ needs, and offered updates and photos during their stay. The best part was that Janice and her kids treated our pets as if they were their own. If you’re looking for pet care in the Pasadena, Altadena, or Arcadia area, I highly recommend Janice.
Eva is fantastic and went above and beyond as a sitter. I had a really early flight and planned to drop off Josie in the AM, but for everyone’s convenience Eva suggested bringing Josie over the night before, which was absolutely the right move. She gave me daily updates, and made sure Josie got all her exercise needs met. Will definitely book again for services. Thanks Eva!
Outstanding experience. A few things I really appreciated: 1. Excellent communication with status updates and pictures of the dogs playing 2. The property is designed for the dogs to be safe, monitored, and low stress 3. Very quick response times 4. You can tell they’re dog people. They care and it shows. Will definitely be taking our dogs to them in the future.
If you need a sitter Yuhong is it. What makes her stand out is that she only takes one dog at a time and there are no children that would potentially harass your dog. She gave regular updates and my little guy who is usually only loyal to one person seemed very happy with the care Yuhong provided. In fact I think Ollie (my little dog) wants to live with Yuhong which is very reassuring. I don’t think Ollie would do well but he did under Yuhong’s care.
