“Great experience. The meet and greet went well and I felt at ease when I brought my little rescue yorkie to meet Angelicas 2 dogs. They were playful and easy going. She was kind with a very positive and honest vibe that convinced me she was the right choice for this 3 day stay. Her daughter is not only a dog lover but treated her dogs and Oxford gently and with love. Those are the important things that any dog sitter should have especially with small breeds. Without me even mentioning it, she knew that she would feed Oxford in a calm and dog free environment so he could eat without distractions. The knowledge of the little things like this is what make a good host that you would want again and again. Thank you for caring for my little trouble maker and yes, I would book them again.”

“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Sophie will definitely be back soon. We even forgot a couple of things at their house and stopped by later, and Sophie was eager to go back inside to Ana and Mitchell’s home- showing just how comfortable she feels there.”

About: Update: I took 2 years off Rover due to moving to a new area and having a long commute to work. Now I live closer to work in Pasadena and am able to start providing care again :) Hi There! I've been caring for pets for almost my entire life. I've owned or cared for rabbits, lizards, frogs, fish, cats, birds, guinea pigs, horses, and my beloved two dogs! Being a high school science teacher, I have a lot of patience and animals are always better behaved than teenagers :-D I would love to get a chance to get to know your pet(s) and treat them just like I would my own! I had my own dogs for 15+ years (they recently passed due to old age/health conditions). I am especially well-versed in daily care for small dogs, but I am willing to learn and apply whatever is best for your pet. I am currently available for drop-in visits and walks. I am a high school teacher and on summer break so I am available pretty much any day/time at the moment, lots of scheduling flexibility. I take pet safety very seriously after having cared for my own two senior dogs. I always walk dogs on a leash regardless of the neighborhood/area for both their safety and mine. My dogs and any visiting dogs will never be left alone together in the same area (I have a large gated pen I can use to separate dogs when necessary). I always am very careful about following owner's instructions and will ask questions if I think I need assistance. I also send detailed Rover cards with information about everything that happened during your pet's stay/walk/drop-in.

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”

Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. About: I rescued my dog Gabbi 10 years ago, as she was surrendered from an overcrowded home. She is a 14 lb mixed breed who is the boss in this house. Since having her, I’ve dog sat for multiple friends, overnight, including a Samoyed, Pitbull, German Shepherd, and Rottweiler mix. My dog is around 13 years old and doesn’t enjoy playing with other dogs, but she’ll happily go on a long walk together! She also likes her personal space and can make it known, but she’s never had any major issues with other dogs. She resource guards, so I keep feeding time separate. I work from home full time M-F, between 9am-5pm. I have a generally flexible schedule, taking meetings throughout the day. I like to take the dogs out throughout my work day as a way to keep me awake! I live in a townhome style condo with a small fenced patio. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to take the dogs out. I will happily adopt your dog’s usual schedule to keep them as regulated as possible.

“This was our first time reaching out for a pet sitter. We had previously used family members to care for our dogs, but with time restrictions and our family relocating, we found it more difficult to coordinate our schedules. That's when we reached out to Rover.com. I must say, we were a little anxious about having a complete stranger coming into our home and taking care of our two fur babies; Sam and Lila. My husband and I wanted to go on an impromptu beach visit to just get away before the holidays; so we went to Rover.com to see if there was someone compatible with what we were looking for in a sitter for our dogs. Well, we invited Brody over to meet us the day before we were to go on our trip and we really enjoyed his awesome vibe, personality and his genuine love for dogs which didn't surprise us when we found out that he has dogs of his own. So, after deciding on Brody and meeting him in person we were impressed! Our first meet up included Brody come in the front door and that our dogs would be receptive! YES! Mission accomplished! Our dogs were super happy to see Brody walk in the first time and every time thereafter! Brody kept our dogs on schedule as requested. Brody also took care care of closing our house blinds and turning lights on and off throughout his visits to make our dogs were comfortable through out the day and also giving our home a lived in look while we were out of town. Brody checked in when he started, and checked out when he was finished with a comment and photos of our pups at the time. I would highly recommend Brody to take care of your pets if you need a weekender or any other trip away from your home. We have already let Brody know that we will definitely be requiring his service at least once a month going forward in the spring and a long trip in May that we can look forward to booking having this peace of mind. We will definitely ask Brody to watch our Sam and Lila again!!”

David and Aisa each have 20+ years of experience caring for animals of all ages and sizes! We are the go-to couple for our family, friends, and loved ones’ pets, from Great Danes to kittens to reptiles to hamsters. We are experienced in walking, bathing, playing, special needs, administering medication, and anything else you may need from us. We also have experience caring for puppies and kittens, and will happily help with potty training, leash training, and obedience training. 🧸 We look forward to working with you!! Aisa and David both have flexible work/school schedules — so we are available throughout the day, and often during traditional work hours. It is possible that only one of us will be present for your booking, and we are always sure to communicate if that is the case! 😊 **Note — In the case that both Aisa and David are busy with work, for boarding and daycare specifically, we do best with pets that are able to be left alone for at least 2 hours. Our apartment is a great space for cats, especially those that will do well with our own kitty. In your home, we are happy to complete any requested services, from crating to medication to anything in between. We are also able to take care of any household chores (ex. trash, alarms, etc).
“Bingbing was super sweet and accommodating. She hosted a meet a greet before confirming booking to ensure my doggo Luna felt comfortable in her care. She has a nice big gated yard with plenty or grass and sunbathing space, and she made sure I brought my doggo some toys and a blanket and feeding instructions to make sure Luna could adjust as it was her first time in a doggy daycare setting. About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

They were however kind and took turns in having her on their lap or sitting outside. Only then did she start to relax. I’ll also treat your home with respect and send regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. About: I've had my own dogs and cats for most of my life ranging from easy going to skittish and temperamental. I've been a go to pet carer for family, friends, and for hire since I was a teenager. I have experience with pets with complex dietary needs, medication regiments, very shy animals who don't deal well with being apart from their families, and high energy critters who need lots of stimulation. Please be respectful to Rover’s sitters. I am used to working with dogs of all ages and sizes; I currently own a mischievous dachshund mix and a year old tabby cat. Past care and house sitting experience includes: monitoring the dog/cat's overall health and administering any medication, replenishing food and water accordingly, going out for walks, having playtime, and cleaning messes (if any were made in the house or outside). Depending on the age and physical condition of the dog, I'm comfortable walking or running on any terrain with it. I can also work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. In emergency situations involving the client's dog, I will contact the client immediately, as well as the closest vet clinic. Please let me know in advance if your pet suffers any serious conditions, such as arthritis, epilepsy, heart/kidney issues, etc., and I will help them accordingly. As or right now, I work from home. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. As a courtesy, I leave my own dog at home in the care of my roommates. She's still training to be socialized with other dogs. My schedule is flexible at this time. I have remote work, and can easily connect with my job as long as an internet is stable. I will stay with the pets overnight for long term stays, and drop in for at least an hour during the day as requested through booking. Safety is my top priority; names and numbers of close contacts (neighbors, relatives, friends, etc.) and vet clinic information are greatly appreciated. I do not distribute this information outside of my job out of respect for privacy. I currently work from home, and run 1-2 errands during the day. If your dog has special needs, i.e. medicine schedule, mobility issues, etc., let me know immediately and I will accommodate your pet as necessary. During overnight stays, I will be in the client’s home with the pets. This helps calm separation anxiety and ensures the home’s safety. For drop in visits, I will only stay up to an hour to walk the dog(s) and make sure they have food, water and medicine if need be.
