“Adrienne and Mike were a great team in caring for Sadie, our 14 pound 7 year old cockapoo. Sadie is a bit timid and has only stayed with one previous caregiver. So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

“If there was a way to do more than five stars, I would. First time we have ever used the service. Oliver always stayed in a boarding facility when we traveled. But he is nearly 16 years old, and we did not want the chaos of tons of dogs at a boarding place. Now I can't believe we ever used those instead of this service. Jasmine was great! She let us do a little drop-in a few days prior to our leaving, so I could see her place and Oliver could meet her. She took notes on his needs, with him being older. She sent pictures every day that we were gone, with a an update on their activities and how he was getting along. It really put our mind at ease. When we picked him up he had made friends with another dog and had clearly been very well taken care of. Again, with an older dog, you hope the care taker knows how to handle it. Jasmine did a great job....way better than what would have been the case at a boarding place. The best recommendation is that we would definitely use her again.”

“This was our first time reaching out for a pet sitter. We had previously used family members to care for our dogs, but with time restrictions and our family relocating, we found it more difficult to coordinate our schedules. That's when we reached out to Rover.com. I must say, we were a little anxious about having a complete stranger coming into our home and taking care of our two fur babies; Sam and Lila. My husband and I wanted to go on an impromptu beach visit to just get away before the holidays; so we went to Rover.com to see if there was someone compatible with what we were looking for in a sitter for our dogs. We looked around the site and of course did the searches close to our home. Now, what do you look for in a pet sitter? Well, we looked for someone that was in our area and of course someone who loves animals. Then, we found Brody! To be honest, my husband was the one who chose Brody based on his profile. Brody's caption; Dogs like bald heads apparently! This made us both laugh.. since my husband is bald as well and every dog loves him too! Well, we invited Brody over to meet us the day before we were to go on our trip and we really enjoyed his awesome vibe, personality and his genuine love for dogs which didn't surprise us when we found out that he has dogs of his own. So, after deciding on Brody and meeting him in person we were impressed! Our first meet up included Brody come in the front door and that our dogs would be receptive! YES! Mission accomplished! Our dogs were super happy to see Brody walk in the first time and every time thereafter! Brody kept our dogs on schedule as requested. Brody also took care care of closing our house blinds and turning lights on and off throughout his visits to make our dogs were comfortable through out the day and also giving our home a lived in look while we were out of town. Brody checked in when he started, and checked out when he was finished with a comment and photos of our pups at the time. I would highly recommend Brody to take care of your pets if you need a weekender or any other trip away from your home. We have already let Brody know that we will definitely be requiring his service at least once a month going forward in the spring and a long trip in May that we can look forward to booking having this peace of mind. We will definitely ask Brody to watch our Sam and Lila again!!”

About: I have owned a German shepherd dog for 7 years, and caring for him was in itself a part time job. I spent hours over those years training him, teaching him to walk properly on a leash, socializing him with other pets, and loving him. My personal experience allows me to treat your pets with the same care I did with my own. I currently work part-time, so caring for your pets will be my top priority when I am with them. All my attention will be focused on their safety and love! With experience owning a large German shepherd dog, I have the skill and experience needed to crate pets when necessary, play with them to have fun whilst letting out energy, and am able to walk dogs easily on a leash.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

About: Huy and I are two huge animal lovers and devoted parents to a 9 month old Australian Labradoodle named Ollie. We love spoiling him and taking care of all of his super picky needs. When caring for pets in our home, we make sure they have a safe, comfortable space, consistent routines, and plenty of play and exercise. In a client’s home, we follow their pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible - feeding, walks, and downtime, so things feel familiar and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to a strict medication routine.

We are experienced in walking, bathing, playing, special needs, administering medication, and anything else you may need from us. It is possible that only one of us will be present for your booking, and we are always sure to communicate if that is the case! 😊 **Note — In the case that both Aisa and David are busy with work, for boarding and daycare specifically, we do best with pets that are able to be left alone for at least 2 hours. Our apartment is a great space for cats, especially those that will do well with our own kitty. In your home, we are happy to complete any requested services, from crating to medication to anything in between. We are also able to take care of any household chores (ex. trash, alarms, etc).
About: I rescued my dog Gabbi 10 years ago, as she was surrendered from an overcrowded home. She is a 14 lb mixed breed who is the boss in this house. Since having her, I’ve dog sat for multiple friends, overnight, including a Samoyed, Pitbull, German Shepherd, and Rottweiler mix. My dog is around 13 years old and doesn’t enjoy playing with other dogs, but she’ll happily go on a long walk together! She also likes her personal space and can make it known, but she’s never had any major issues with other dogs. She resource guards, so I keep feeding time separate. I work from home full time M-F, between 9am-5pm. I have a generally flexible schedule, taking meetings throughout the day. I like to take the dogs out throughout my work day as a way to keep me awake! I live in a townhome style condo with a small fenced patio. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, making it easy to take the dogs out. I will happily adopt your dog’s usual schedule to keep them as regulated as possible.

About: I'm the go-to sitter for all our family and friends. I've had two senior dogs and have raised puppies as well. I've helped train neglected rescues and volunteer at the local shelter. We hand make a variety of human grade treats from home. I primarily work from home, can provide 2x daily walks in addition to regular potty breaks and multiple outings weekly (parks, pet stores, trails etc) We have a fenced yard, and a friendly host pup. Please be respectful to Rover’s sitters. I am used to working with dogs of all ages and sizes; I currently own a mischievous dachshund mix and a year old tabby cat. Past care and house sitting experience includes: monitoring the dog/cat's overall health and administering any medication, replenishing food and water accordingly, going out for walks, having playtime, and cleaning messes (if any were made in the house or outside). Depending on the age and physical condition of the dog, I'm comfortable walking or running on any terrain with it. I can also work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. In emergency situations involving the client's dog, I will contact the client immediately, as well as the closest vet clinic. Please let me know in advance if your pet suffers any serious conditions, such as arthritis, epilepsy, heart/kidney issues, etc., and I will help them accordingly. As or right now, I work from home. I can work on a flexible schedule with my clients, i.e. planning around their family, work schedule, vacation time, etc. At this time, I work remotely, and won't leave pets alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. During a drop in visit, I stay with the pets most of the time, only stepping out to run errands. In the case of an overnight stay, I sleep over and keep an eye on all pets in the home. As a courtesy, I leave my own dog at home in the care of my roommates. She's still training to be socialized with other dogs. My schedule is flexible at this time. I have remote work, and can easily connect with my job as long as an internet is stable. I will stay with the pets overnight for long term stays, and drop in for at least an hour during the day as requested through booking. Safety is my top priority; names and numbers of close contacts (neighbors, relatives, friends, etc.) and vet clinic information are greatly appreciated. I do not distribute this information outside of my job out of respect for privacy. I currently work from home, and run 1-2 errands during the day. If your dog has special needs, i.e. medicine schedule, mobility issues, etc., let me know immediately and I will accommodate your pet as necessary. During overnight stays, I will be in the client’s home with the pets. This helps calm separation anxiety and ensures the home’s safety. For drop in visits, I will only stay up to an hour to walk the dog(s) and make sure they have food, water and medicine if need be.

About: Both my husband and I have grown up around all different animals including elephants, sheep, cows, and horses. My great aunt taught me to be a caretaker of pets at a young age and she often had up to 16 cats and 8 dogs in the house at anytime. This passion for caring for pets has carried on the me.
