I really appreciate that Dean took the time to come over the day before to meet me and my dog and connect with my dog before that first walk. The day of the first walk it was really hot and my dog just wasn’t having it. She kept heading home. It meant a lot that Dean read my dog’s energy and didn’t push her to go the full hour walk. Will be booking Dean again. Highly recommend.”

About: My experience with pets goes all the way back to when I was 12. Currently I have two Dobermans who I love to look after. My family has always trusted me with their dogs and I grew to like the part of having my own. I always follow a feeding schedule with my dogs and of course an activity one as well. Pet care fits into my weekly routine usually in the morning and evenings. Pet care in general is very important and is something that definitely takes practice and time to get better at. Finding a schedule that fits best for you and your pet is very important to me. I care for my pets at home by having a schedule/routine. I currently work a part time job and would love to take other parts of my day by having something to do like this. I always have a checklist going on in my head when I do take out a pet down to the bathroom to the water, and if the client allows it, a treat as well. I’m all about a schedule and sticking to it with what the client has planned.

My dog is now a senior, so I understand the special care and patience older pets need as well My schedule is flexible since I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your dog or cat! I usually take dogs for walks around the neighborhood every 4 hours, but I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs. I treat every pet like my own! About: I look forward to sharing my love and attention with pets whose people need a helping hand. I grew up with multiple cats and dogs and became responsible for my own dog at 12. Together my dog and I successfully completed her Canine Good Citizen training where I learned about effective motivation and discipline, animal safety and public etiquette. Throughout my life, I have regularly volunteered with local animal shelters to assist with dog walking and cat socialization and recently I have been helping my housemate with her dog boarding business. I am working part time this summer with flexible hours that give me lots of free time and availability for pet care. I am an active person and would love to walk or jog with your pup. Safety always comes first. Beyond that, each pet is unique and I prefer to follow owner guidelines and routines that make their pet most comfortable. Having your person go away can be very stressful for a pet, so I always do my best to be attentive to their needs while maintaining a calm and familiar environment.

About: Growing up, we always had a family dog, so I approach my care as if your pet is a member of my family. My experience began in college when I would housesit/dogsit for a family near my campus who needed care for their dog when they went out of town or couldn't be home on time. Their dog needed medication, so I was responsible for feeding and administering the medication. Throughout the years, I've helped out friends and family and have been a certified Rover sitter for four years. I work remotely and take walks during the day, so adding your pet's care to my schedule is not a problem. I would love for your dog to join me on my walks or visit with them during the day for companionship and playtime. *NOTE* I am also able to provide doggy daycare in your home rather than mine if that works better for you. My neighborhood is great for walks with the ability to stay on quieter streets if your dog prefers less traffic noise. Regarding care in your home, I am happy to follow all instructions that keep your pet comfortable in their space. I find it very important to keep your dog's schedule as normal as possible to avoid any distress while you are away.

About: I manage a puppy yoga company so I have tons of experience with young dogs. I have also been a dog sitter for adult and senior dogs for 10 years. I am CPR & First Aid certified for dogs & puppies! I am a professional dancer; auditioning and taking classes is my current schedule. I’m home for the good majority of every day and I love to go for long walks. I have no other pets; I live in a safe area and a building with many other dogs. My building has elevators, so there is easy access outside!
