Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. “I made sure to Book Dean a few months before my scheduled vacation because Dean is hands-down, without a doubt the best cat sitter. I’ve had many cat sitters in the past and they were all very kind and I felt that my cats were safe with them but it’s different with Dean. When we come home after a long vacation, my cats feel different if they have been watched by Dean. We can tell that they were not only safe and well fed, but they felt loved. Dean brings over handmade cat toys and special treats and engages with them the entire time. We can tell just by the photos how much our cats love Dean. About: Hello! I have grown-up with dogs all my life. I currently have two adorable babies Charles and Tika (1year old siblings) who I love to pieces. Aside from my job as a nanny, I have dog sat more times than I can count and take my bosses dogs to the dog park 3 times a week for exercise and playtime! I have taken care of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and enjoy going to the dog park or walking around the neighborhood! It brings me so much joy and happiness into my life! I am a nanny and have been with the same family for over 16 years. I took care of three children but now I only have the youngest left. He is in school during the day and I am free from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays I am off. I have 6 hours free everyday to be able to take your fur baby/babies for some fun in the sun, exercise, explore, or fresh air! I safely transport my bosses dogs to and from home to the dog park. All dogs are on a leash until we arrive. Once we are there I play ball or walk around with them and always have my attention to make sure they are safe from any aggressive dogs or anything on the floor that they might want to eat. I bring my two little yorkie mixes with me for company and playtime with the other dogs. I carry wipes, poop bags, water, and hand sanitizer at all times because it comes in handy on a daily basis!

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. About: My experience with pets goes all the way back to when I was 12. Currently I have two Dobermans who I love to look after. Together my dog and I successfully completed her Canine Good Citizen training where I learned about effective motivation and discipline, animal safety and public etiquette. Throughout my life, I have regularly volunteered with local animal shelters to assist with dog walking and cat socialization and recently I have been helping my housemate with her dog boarding business. I am working part time this summer with flexible hours that give me lots of free time and availability for pet care. I am an active person and would love to walk or jog with your pup. Safety always comes first. Beyond that, each pet is unique and I prefer to follow owner guidelines and routines that make their pet most comfortable. Having your person go away can be very stressful for a pet, so I always do my best to be attentive to their needs while maintaining a calm and familiar environment.

Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

“Yoko was absolutely amazing! We left our little guy, Boogey with her for an extended trip out of town, and it was his first boarding experience that was longer than 5 days. Boogey has some separation anxiety but Yoko put our minds to ease with her calm and warm demeanor! Yoko was able to maintain his walking schedule, feeding schedule and also sent photo/video updates during his stay that put our own separation anxiety at ease! This is why I can’t recommend Yoko enough; during Boogey’s stay, he had an allergic reaction (most likely a bug bite/bee sting from a walk) and Yoko calmly let us know what was happening, took him to the vet when we requested him to be brought there, and immediately got him the attention he needed, all while having an open line of communication with us. It’s every dog parent’s worst nightmare for something bad to happen while you’re away, but Yoko truly went above and beyond making sure he was well cared for in our absence. We can tell Boogey LOVED staying with Yoko, and we’ll be sure to have him stay with her for our next extended time out of town!”
“The best care of my dog (Mochi) during vacation. Mochi slept by himself in an individual room with his own blanket and food drink bowl. The house and backyard is clean and provide a lot of room for him to move around. He made friend with Eric’s little dog. Mochi does not like to be with a lot other dogs. Eric’s place is perfect for him. Eric walked him everyday and send video to us everyday. Price is very reasonable. We will surely use Eric’s service next time if he has slot for Mochi.”
