A typical day
I love to go on long walks with my own and others dogs. I like to take them to the park, and if they like fetch, love to play fetch! Sometimes I give them a puzzle toy at home for food, which promotes great mental stimulation to help tire them out a bit more. Most of all, I love to cuddle and smother them with love!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of several breeds since I was 10. I had a Labrador Retriever growing up, and two mini Australian Shepards. I also have experience with large energetic dogs. I have also pet sat for dogs in home as well, and have helped foster a litter of kittens in the past. I have volunteered a lot with Best Friends Animal Society with bunnies, cats and dogs. Now I own an American Staffordshire Terrier who is very strong, has a high prey drive, reactive with other dogs, has a lot of energy, but loves cuddles!

April is the absolute best!! Our cat loves her and she spends quality time playing and cuddling with him. She also sends great updates and pictures so I am never worried about him when I’m gone. She is quick to communicate and is very friendly and flexible. This was my second time booking with her; so happy to have found such a reliable cat sitter!
April was the perfect sitter for our anxious dog! She was patient and caring, and kept us updated throughout her stay. I highly recommend her!
April was amazing with our cats while we were out of town. We have asked April to help now during multiple vacations given what a wonderful job she does.
