About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. After a lot of patience and creating a safe environment for the two of them, my cat and dog are now besties! At the same time, they’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect :). About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. Spoiled for sure with plenty of love and activity.

I grew up with many animals and was responsible for their care, including regularly walking 4 dogs at once. “We love having Catherine, Albert, and Trace take care of Walter. They treat Walter like family and share all of their toys with him. We get regular updates and never have to ask them how Walter is doing. Their backyard is absolutely beautiful and dog friendly. They take our dog on strolls around town and play fetch regularly as if he is their own. I can’t say enough about how great they are and how comfortable we are leaving Walter with them. My husband especially loves the report cards Walter gets after his stay.”
“Julianne was a perfect match for my dog Honey. They got along great and she made Honey feel right at home. From the pictures and face timing I could see my dog was really enjoying herself. When I picked up Honey she was as calm and cool as a cucumber. Usually she has so much anxiety and is usually over excited to see me. Not this time! I loved how close Julianne lives to my home. “Indy had such a great time with Athene! Athene has a great set up for all of her furry clients, and really pays close attention to each dog's needs and character. We did a meet 'n' greet and a short trial run beforehand to make sure Indy and I were both comfortable with the set up, which really made me feel better leaving my fur-child with someone new. :) I will definitely be booking with her again in the future when I'm traveling!”

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
“This was Arnie's first time boarding with a sitter, and he had a wonderful time with Loretta. He made a new best friend with another dog, and had such a good time that he didn't seem to miss us that much (I think he enjoyed his vacation!) Loretta shared pictures and commentary with us so we always felt in touch with Arnie. I was most impressed with her flexibility - our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we needed to have Arnie stay with Loretta an additional day. She was very accommodating, and everything went smoothly. Loretta is very responsive to messages and obviously loves dogs! I would highly recommend!”

Pet care is my full-time focus. My daily routine revolves entirely around the pets I'm caring for. A typical day starts early — morning walks, feeding, and medication if needed. Throughout the day, I schedule playtime and rest according to each pet's rhythm. Evenings are for settling everyone in, sending updates to owners, and prepping for the next day. Because this is my only job, I'm fully present; No juggling meetings or rushing off to a desk. Your pet gets my complete attention. I care for pets in my own home. I've created a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs feel safe and comfortable while you're away.
