“We booked Hilary last minute because our usual sitter became unavailable. We had a trip to Italy planned, and I was so stressed to leave Pebbles somewhere new while being out of the country, but HILARY WAS AMAZING!! We fell in love with the way she cared for Pebbles instantly. She had no problem with her feeding times, walks, crate needs, and even eye medication. She sent us SO MANY fun and cute pictures of Pebbles while we were out of the country that I felt super reassured. She was flexible with the pick up time (we know how LAX can be), and even willing to take an additional emergency contact while we were out of country. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anyone kinder, more loving, or more communicative. I will definitely request her again, and I am so glad Pebbles found a temporary home there. From the moment we talked with Kim on the phone, to meeting her in person we knew and felt our boy would be in great hands. She has a love and tenderness for dogs, especially senior dogs, that you can see as soon as she interacts with our dog. My senior dog has severe separation anxiety from me (mama's boy), and he is usually very stressed after we pick him up from other sitters. When we picked up our boy, he was calm and even snuggling with Kim while I was there. I VERY RARELY see him snuggling with other humans. About: I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.

In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.

Our home has a fence with a metal security barrier to prevent little pups from getting out and we have a yard. Our pets are safe and well loved. “I can't say a single negative comment about Kim and her loving care for our dog Forbes. From the moment we talked with Kim on the phone, to meeting her in person we knew and felt our boy would be in great hands. She has a love and tenderness for dogs, especially senior dogs, that you can see as soon as she interacts with our dog. My senior dog has severe separation anxiety from me (mama's boy), and he is usually very stressed after we pick him up from other sitters. When we picked up our boy, he was calm and even snuggling with Kim while I was there. I VERY RARELY see him snuggling with other humans. This made my heart so warm and at peace, knowing my boy was well-loved while we were out. I will be using Kim again in the future, and I highly recommend her if your dog needs a safe, loving sitter. “We had such a great experience with Adolfo! He took care of our two dogs, Ozzy (9) and Jessie (1), for a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. He took them on walks, played with them, made sure they were fed, and even gave them their vitamins. Adolfo also kept us updated with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief knowing our dogs were happy, safe, and being well taken care of. “Albert, Cat, and Trey were so lovely to work with! They were very responsive and provided me with plenty of updates and photos. Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy. It's always scary when having to leave your pet somewhere and I'm immensely grateful for them for treating Lola so well and giving her love in my absence. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart <3”
