During the meet and greet, Steven immediately put us at ease with his kindhearted and soft nature which made us confident in his ability to provide excellent care. While we were gone, steven provided updates with pictures every day, and we could see that they were happy, relaxed, and enjoying thier time with him. Though there may be some slight adjustments to the our daily routine, a general idea of our schedule for boarding consists of.. 6:30am potty break and playtime 7am breakfast and continued playtime 8:30am lounge/nap time Potty breaks every 3-4 hours 12:00pm -2:00pm Afternoon playtime some time during this time frame if the weather permits 5:30pm-7:00pm dinner around this time frame Evening play until 7:30pm-8pm 11:00pm for a final potty break We live in a fenced home that is double gated with a large spacious backyard. Guests are only allowed outside when there is human supervision. Guests are welcome to wrestle and play chase; however, if we do see there is an escalation in energy levels then we do a quick reset and separate guests for several minutes before returning to a lower energy of play behavior.

“Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy. About: I grew up with a Great Dane who I cared for from childhood until she passed, and she’s the reason I’ve loved pets my whole life. Since then, I’ve helped take care of family and friends’ dogs of all sizes. About: Hi there! My name is Michele, and I understand how important it is to find reliable caretakers you can trust. I approach dogs with care and kindness, and I pay attention. I prioritize following your instructions and making sure your dog is comfortable and safe with me. I have a deep history as a dog owner. My mom had a knack for picking up strays and taking in fosters, so I have been providing dog care my whole life. I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.

About: I have experience caring for 2 dogs and a cat in the same household growing up. The cat was twice the size of both dogs, which made it funny when the cat would start chasing the dog around. I was just recently laid off and I am currently unemployed. I'm home all day except for the times I'm going for a job interview. I usually walk the dogs around 6:00 AM. Feed them. Give them water. Then around 3:00PM to walk them again. And one more time around 9-10 so they can get a bathroom break before bed. Last 3 months, when I lived in my friend's house, I would regularly walk his dog 2-3 times a day. I would sometimes cook meals for myself and the dog. I learned that garbanzo beans are really healthy for dogs. So I would make myself some beans and share it my friend's dog. I also have boarded dogs at my house, taken them on walks daily, bathed them if needed, and taken them to doggy daycare if they’re comfortable enough for it. I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.
