Availability
I’m currently working at a 24 hour animal hospital in Torrance Sunday-Wednesdays each week, therefore any drop in visits those days would only be available in the evenings. I can do multiple households/drop in visits on the remaining days of the week; just reach out to me ahead of time to add availability to my calendar for you to book.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a Great Pyrenees daughter named Jasmine who is spoiled indoors with me, so I am used to having no personal space and a fluffy white cloud following me everywhere. When visiting others’ homes, I’m very respectful about boundaries and keeping things clean and as they were.
Information Sydney C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any particular medical and/or behavioral aspects I’ll need to be mindful of. Some pets are escape artists while others are hide and seek champions. For the dogs that are especially protective over their territory, meet & greets ahead of time will help tremendously when it’s time for the drop in visits. Thanks to my training in the veterinary field, most at home treatments I can provide as needed (oral & transdermal medications, SQ fluids, bladder expressions, etc) as long as your pet isn’t too much of a wiggle bug.
A typical day
For pets I visit, they will receive TLC and snuggles for as long as they’ll have me for! Dogs will also receive walks based on their activity/physical level (puppy vs. arthritic senior). I also strive to just be present with them, and either sit on the floor or on a couch together to wind down and relax.

Loving your family as my own
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with furry family members since I was 5-years-old; I’ve had dogs in my family since I was 8. Since I grew up loving animals, I made my career with them as a veterinary technician (RVT). I have been working in the veterinary field since 2013, including experience with emergencies. With my background, I am willing to help pets with medical concerns as well, from insuring your pet gets their daily pills to administering subcutaneous fluids. From my own standpoint, I understand that pets are more than companions... They are precious family members. I promise to care and provide for them with lots of love and TLC as if they are my own.

Reviews

I embarked on a trip to Hawaii and was determined to find a skilled vet tech who could assist with bladder expressions for my fur child who is paralyzed . After an extensive search, I was on the verge of giving up, but then I discovered Sydney, who exceeded my expectations in every aspect. WHAT A GEM! She provided exceptional service, displayed professionalism, maintained excellent communication, and submitted detailed daily reports. As a result, I felt completely at ease and relaxed throughout my trip. I strongly recommend Sydney and look forward to booking her services again in the future.
As always Sydney was on-time, thorough and went above and beyond with not only her excellent care but also communications regarding our pet. She is thoroughly reliable, considerate and recommend her 110%.
Sydney did a fantastic job of taking care of my two golden retrievers. She provided informative reports each visit and sent lots of pictures so I could see my happy pups! She helped make our vacation relaxed and worry-free! We would definately call on her again.
Sarah is excellent! Always very kind and attentive in her care.?
