I have been a licensed veterinary technician for over 10 years and have been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. My passion and joy has been taking care of family pets (cats & dogs) medically since I was young. I am knowledgeable in animal behavior, food, training, and medical treatments, including oncological needs. I do have 2 dogs of my own, border collies, “Lynus” (13) and “Enzo” (4). We have competed in obedience and agility and earned titles. I do have a lot of experience dealing with elderly pets and know they need extra love, a gentle pat, and sometimes help with getting from point A to point B. At the very least, I would like to talk and discuss every individual need your pet may have from schedules to their favorite treat to any special needs and or allergies. While your pet is in my care I have the knowledge to asses illnesses or early signs of possible illnesses. If your pet is on chemotherapy, I have no problem administering oral chemotherapy medications and I will know about side effects and how to handle them. I am and love being an advocate for all pets and will look after your pet as if they were my own. I am flexible with any needs you or your pet may have while you are away. If requested, I can take care of some basic away from home chores ie. Grab the mail, take the trash bins out, or take delivered packages inside. Just ask! For the doggos, if they need a walk longer than 10 minutes please schedule a daily walk separately and I will add a 30 minute walk to my drop in time. I have a love for cats and know that while you’re away keeping a close eye on their behavior is crucial. I will keep you updated on their health with my visits.

I always make an effort to stay on schedule with my pets. Meals at the same time, medications strictly as directed, and will always make sure they get some quality time, individually and together. Training sessions to help stimulate their minds and walks or playtime to meet their physical needs. My feline friends are always by personality. Some like lots of love and rubs while some may prefer a short pat and playing with a toy. I never push their limits and know that I will always be their servant. They can be picky but like routine and things on their terms. I have no problem with that.

Kristine is the best! She always takes the best care of our two cats when we are out of town. She is super communicative, kind, and a joy to work with.
Kristine was a wonderful sitter for my cat while I was out of town. At each visit, she would send a comprehensive update of all the activities she would do with my cat, such as his feeding and playing behaviors. She always does an amazing job, and my cat adores her!
I always book with Kristine for work trips and vacations. My cats love her and she provides great updates with photos of my girls. Cannot recommend enough.

Schedule
First, I am here for those days you need to work late or have an all day function to attend or Unexpected issues that sometimes come about. Having to worry about your pet is the last thing you need. Maybe you have a planned week of an extremely busy schedule, that’s what I’m here for ! No need to worry, Ive got you covered. I am currently going school online to make a slight career change from a hospital environment to teaching in registered technician programs. I have 2 kids who are at school during the day so I do have a pretty flexible schedule. **if a request is needed for the evening my 9 year old daughter who loves to help me care for pets may come along. She is well adjusted to different pet personalities and will be closely monitored by me during the visit. If there is any reason you are not comfortable with this arrangement please let me know so we may come to an agreement. Thank you for your understanding. **
