About: I grew up surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always come easily to me. As a dog groomer, I’m experienced in handling dogs of all sizes with patience and care. I’m a true animal lover who treats every pet with love. I enjoy taking dogs on calm, enjoyable walks in nature to keep them happy and active. You can trust that your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently working part time. So I have a lot of free time to play and cuddle with your pet so they don’t feel lonely. I am always ready to cuddle or play if they want or need! I can adjust to their comfort and unique personalities with patience and love.

About: I’ve been walking and caring for my own sweetie baby dog (Kiwi) and my friends dogs for the past 12 years, I love it and I genuinely care about all dogs! I love them and will care for your pet as if it was my own <3 I’m currently going to culinary school so I’m available weekdays 3-9pm to walk and/or drop in on your pups! Weekends will vary but I usually will have open availability. I love and treasure my own senior (12 year old terrier mix) dog by walking her every day and giving her treats and other enrichment activities, so I would be happy to do the same for my clients dogs.
About: With several years of experience as a dog mom to a Cockapoo and a foster mom to various breeds, including a Husky, I've developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've provided temporary homes for dogs awaiting rehoming, ensuring they receive proper care and attention. This hands-on experience has honed my skills in managing dogs of different sizes and temperaments, making me well-equipped to handle diverse canine clients. My background reflects a strong commitment to animal welfare and a genuine passion for providing quality care to dogs. As a recent graduate, I am available to start immediately and am seeking employment opportunities during the summer months. I am flexible with scheduling and can accommodate various shifts, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of your pet. As a dog walker, I am committed to providing personalized and attentive care for each canine client. Drawing from my experience as a dedicated pet mom and a foster mom to various breeds, I understand the unique needs of different dogs. I tailor each walk to suit the individual dog's age, health, and energy levels, ensuring they receive appropriate exercise and mental stimulation. I prioritize safety by carrying essential items such as water, a collapsible bowl, and waste bags. I maintain open communication with pet owners, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly. Additionally, I am vigilant about environmental hazards, such as hot pavement or harmful plants, and adjust walking routes accordingly to ensure the dog's well-being
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid – we always had family animals, and I grew up feeding, walking, and bathing them. I had a Golden Retriever and a 6 years old cat so I’m used to high‑energy pups and know how to keep them happy, safe, and well‑exercised. You’ll get daily photo updates, so you can relax while you’re away. I can easily fit in walks or drop‑in visits anytime during the day, evening, or weekends. I’m available Monday through Friday from morning to night, and fully open on Saturdays and Sundays. If your pets needs extra attention (e.g., after surgery or just separation anxiety), I can even be home full‑time for a day – just let me know in advance. When I care for your pets in your home, I always start with a safety check – making sure doors, windows, and gates are secure, and removing any hazards like toxic plants or small objects. I’ll follow your feeding and guidelines precisely, and I always ask about things to look for ahead of time. You’ll get daily photo updates and a quick message after each visit – so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and happy.
About: I have taken in dogs that are in the middle of the freeway and run after dogs that are running in the middle of the street. I have scrubbed poo and vomit off carpet floors. I have been through the ups and downs so I am prepared for whatever comes my way. I go to college night classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 1pm. I'll be available the rest of the week and even holidays if needed! I will make sure they are well fed and hydrated before walking them or playing with them. They are the top priority and I'm there to make sure they're well taken care of.
“When my husband and I had to go back to the office once a week I was worried how my new puppy and senior dog would do being alone in the house all day. I am so grateful we found Sona on Rover. She comes by the house while we’re gone to feed and play with the pups and give them a much needed potty brake. At first I was concerned that all of my requests would make me sound like an overbearing pet parent but Sona assured us that she was happy to do whatever made us comfortable while we were away. She follows every request to a tee and I can feel confident and secure knowing my dogs are happy and comfortable when we’re not home!”

About: My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a student at Mt. SAC enrolled in their Vet Tech program. I love all animals and am very passionate when it comes to caring for and bonding with every animal I encounter. I am a certified animal handler and have experience working with various types of animals. I have had many pets of my own in the past and currently own a 2 year old terrier named Bentley 🐶. I currently have a break between school and my secondary job which makes summer perfect for my Rover schedule! I have open availability and am very flexible and understanding when it comes to booking services with me. I am very communicative and will compromise with any busy schedules that may be a concern to my clients! My house has a backyard that is fenced and gated up all the way around the house to ensure safety for your pet. Plenty of room in the backyard also for your dog to play and run around but there is also a park walking distance from my house where we can go as well!

“Sydney is the best! I'm such a worrying dog-mom, and she could not have been more perfect. She was highly communicative with me and was very easy to get in touch with. I also love that she is a vet tech. That put my mind at ease the whole time we were away. If she noticed small changes in my dog's behavior she would take precautions and monitored him like a pro. Even my neighbor commented on how wonderful she was and how our dog just fell in love with her. I will use Sydney every time we travel in the future!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. From my own pets to those of friends, family, neighbors, and clients, I’ve always been someone people trust with the animals they love most. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies, kittens, seniors, and pets who need extra patience and attention. I’ve raised cats, cared for a litter of kittens from birth until they found their forever homes, and have also had the privilege of being there for several dogs during their final chapter of life. It was an honor to provide comfort, companionship, and a peaceful presence during such a meaningful transition. I believe every pet is unique, with their own personality, routines, and ways of feeling safe and happy. I take the time to understand what each animal needs, whether that means walks, playtime, quiet companionship, medication reminders, or extra cuddles. My daughter, the only other person in our home, works in veterinary medicine, so animals are truly a part of our everyday life. Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment and treated with the same kindness, patience, and respect I would give my own. I currently work part-time, which allows me flexibility and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I am available for boarding on weekends and can accommodate weekday care depending on your pet’s needs. I enjoy creating a calm routine with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection so your pet feels happy and secure. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment where pets receive individual attention and care. I have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs, and I understand the importance of following each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, routines, and special care. My daughter, who is the only other person who lives in my home, works in the veterinary field, so our household has an added level of knowledge and awareness when it comes to animal health and wellbeing. I will treat your pet like part of my own family and keep you updated so you can feel confident while you’re away.

“Adriana was so nice and accommodating and made me feel at ease for my first time using a sitter. Her love for animals helped me put my trust in her with my sweet girl, Waffles. Your fur babies would be lucky to have her watch them ☺️”

“Priscilla's awesome! This is our first time hiring a sitter to check on Cody instead of putting him in daycare. We were a little anxious at first, since Cody usually don't like strangers in the house. He loved Priscilla! She brought organic, freeze dried treats for him during the meet and great, and we could tell right away she definitely love and have a passion for dogs. During the visit she played with Cody and sent us lots of pictures and videos. Thank you Priscilla for taking such good care of Cody, you are the best! :)”

Corrina went above and beyond for our family. We needed a sitter last minute for our 2 senior kitties and Corrina was quick to respond and make us feel confident in our choice to have her watch our girls. With both of our girls needing medication it was important to have someone reliable and good with communication and Corrina was just that. She was on time, sweet to our kitties, was able to manage the medications, and kept us in the loop the entire time. She made sure everything was clean and orderly for when we returned. It was such a relief finding Corrina and will use her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Montebello. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
