“We needed to find a pet sitter for our dog, Pepi, for a month, a long time to be away. Pepi is a small terrier rescue who can be timid and has particular eating habits. She’s very calm and needs a low key environment. We spent much time reviewing sitters seeking a place where Pepi could live a similar lifestyle as she does at home. So lucky, we found Joyce! She has two small sweet dogs. After we met, I felt confident that Pepi would be in good hands along with good doggy company. During our trip, we received photos and videos daily, many times twice a day. I could see Pepi was happy and enjoyed the company of her two lovely dogs. The photos showed walks, Pepi eating well while enjoying the doggie company. She made friends. I could tell Pepi was happy and I made the right choice. I highly recommend Joyce. She provided excellent care. She shopped for additional food for Pepi’s diet and let me know she was doing well. I've changed diapers and administered medicine in various vessels (food, treats, orally). I'm happy to go on walks and to give cuddles! If you have a kitty, my love is just as strong, but I know when to give them their space if wanted or needed! I'm a newly graduated UCSB alumni so I have plenty of time to take care of pets, which is honestly how I love to spend my time anyway. I prefer to spend as much time as possible with my clients' pets for the duration of my stay. I don't tend to leave for more than an hour or two to get food or run some quick errands. I am vigilant and attentive, especially in regards to any allergies such as bees.
About: Hi everyone! My name is Payje and I have been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was a little girl. I grew up in Carolina caring for several dogs and cats over the years. Currently I have the sweetest cockapoo named Teddy and a chill kitty named Vermont and they are my babies. I love animals so so much and it honestly is a little heart breaking having to say bye every time I leave after a walk, drop-in, or house sit. While in my care I will make sure all instructions are met and I update accordingly. My job is to make sure you can trust me with your fur babies and I strive to do just that and more. For overnight sits especially, I make sure you are coming back to not only a happy pet but a clean home. I always make sure to pick up after me and the pet, any dirt swept in from a walk, wiping down paws, combing their fur, even cleaning up hair off furniture or the floor. My priority is that there is less weight on your shoulders when it comes to the more minuscule tasks, I don’t mind doing the work if it means you get to worry less and spend more quality time with your pet.

About: I used to have a dog named Ollie and though our early relationship was tough due to my childish ignorance I came to love and care for her for over a decade.
