Trips to the dog park are an option with this walk, depending on location About this sitter: I'm a casual, easy-going person who understands that I am lucky when I get an animal's approval, and I don't take that for granted. I can't be around animals and not want to interact with them. I genuinely enjoy their company and do my best to ensure they enjoy mine. Why I love pet sitting: I've been an animal lover all my life, and grew up with dogs and cats. I like any animal who decides he/she likes me. To me, they're all beautiful little youngsters who just want to be loved. My experience administering medication: I have interned in veterinary clinics and with wildlife rehabilitators, so I'm comfortable with giving oral, subcutaneous and topical medications, but I would need to discuss any instances of IV or suppository usage. My schedule is somewhat flexible, so I can usually move things around to fit my clients needs. I do, however, have my own pets at home, so I have to ensure a good work/life balance so everyone's needs get met. My main focus is always to get everyone's basic needs met first (food, medication, bathroom breaks), before anything else happens. Then we can focus on having fun, whether that's a walk, playtime or just a really good massage. Animals are pretty good at telling me what they need.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
My approach to animal care is basically just following the cues of the animals in question - for the most part, they're pretty smart. I'll offer toys, and maybe we'll play. I'll offer pets, and maybe someone will get a tummy rub, but I never force anything. If animals need me to do something, they'll let me know. My job is pretty much just paying attention, and keeping everyone alive.
Ratings and reviews
I highly recommend Chris. She came in fur the meet and greet and sat right on the floor. Bob is the most shy of the 3, but he came out to see what was going on. During the stay Bob needed meds and she more than willing to try anything. She couldn't pick him up, cause they just met so it to be crushed and hidden in his food. When I returned I couldn't even tell she had been here. Fabulous!

Chris was punctual, attentive and so caring for Ruby. They had a little cuddle session before i left her for the first time and that was very reassuring. Ruby did great with her. Will definitely rebook.

As always, Chris is excellent--professional & kind.
I had a slight emergency with one of my cats, and Chris responded professionally and kindly. I can't recommend her enough!
Chris was a wonderful pet sitter, as always!
I'm so grateful to have Chris as my cat-sitter! I never have to worry about my cats when Chris is in charge of their care.

Schedule
Pet sitting and dog walking are how I earn my living. I generally work full time, with a variety of pets, as well as taking care of my own two monsters at home. If I'm not feeding someone, walking someone, or cleaning a litter box, it just doesn't feel like a normal day.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsChris can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
- As long as your dog is nice and well-behaved, breed doesn't matter- Rottys, Pit Bulls, Chows- I love them all. My ideal canine client has the following qualities: * low prey drive (doesn't chase small animals) * trained to walk on a leash * low to moderate energy level I LOVE taking my clients for walks, and I try to make the experience as fun as possible for everyone, but when a dog pulls on the leash, crosses in front of me or tries to chase other animals, the situation quickly becomes dangerous, and nobody wants that. Because of this, the best fit for me are dogs who are calm in public and well-behaved on leash.
