Bark Ranger!
From 2007 to 2024, I worked as a Park Ranger in Yosemite National Park and several other beautiful parks. Now I’m back in town for schooling in the medical field! Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, even aquariums—so caring for pets feels second nature to me. My time in the park taught me to be attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented, and I bring that same energy to pet care. I also love taking photos, so you can look forward to plenty of fun snapshots of your pets while they’re in my care. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or cozy cuddles, I’ll make sure your furry (or finned!) family members feel happy, safe, and loved.

When staying in your home, I take both your space and your pets’ well-being very seriously. I follow instructions carefully and prioritize safety at every step, while also being a considerate and respectful guest. My goal is to ensure your home is treated with care and your pets are secure and comfortable throughout my visit.
Ratings and reviews
Kathleen was easy to communicate with, followed directions carefully, brought in our mail/packages, took lots of beautiful photos of our furry friends, and left the house tidy. Most importantly, our animals seemed well cared for, and happy when we returned. We’d absolutely use her again!

Kathleen was amazing! She was extremely thorough with all the details I provided and sent updates throughout the duration of the stay. I'm always an anxious individual with new people taking care of my dog, but she made me feel quickly at ease and picked up on all the things I'd be concerned about. Also, Kathleen is extremely quick to respond at all and always available. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I am in school part time, so the majority of my time is available for work with Rover. I would be able to maintain excellent presence during home stays, and am available for regular walk times, drop ins and last minute walk coverage.
