“Kiff was great! Our dog loves him, and he was accommodating and flexible when our flight was delayed. We so appreciate having been able to leave Sprig with someone we trusted who loves what he does! Thanks Kiff!”

“Luan was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Alfie! I really appreciated her consistent communication; she kept me updated throughout the stay with plenty of messages and photos, which put my mind at ease. Alfie had a blast playing with her dogs and came home a very happy pup. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend (:”

“Really cool guy who was able to take our 3mo old golden last minute. Milo came home happy and so sleepy from all the fun he had! In fact, he missed his new friends so much that he was a little sad when we picked him up. Would definitely book again.”

“Fantastic pet sitter who took exceptional care of my cat! She sent plenty of photos throughout the stay and it was clear my cat was happy and comfortable. Very attentive and professional - would highly recommend Irina’s services to any pet owner.”

“Orlando was amazing with my yorkie! She was so happy when I came back. The updates and communication were top tier. You could tell he really cares about animals. Easy drop off and pick up. Will definitely book again!”

“Stephanie was amazing! It was my first time using Rover, and my puppy's first time being watched. Stephanie kept me updated constantly with pics, videos, and texts about Ripley. I was so worried my puppy might have trouble with the adjustment, but she had fun with her and her little dog. Ripley was giving her licks and love when I picked her up! I 100% recommend Stephanie for a dog sitter!”

“My dog is my world so it can be hard to leave him with a sitter when I travel. But Sabrina and her husband made it so much easier bc I know my dog is in such great hands. I slept easy knowing that he wasn’t only safe but he was having fun in a house full of love and walks!”

“I cannot recommend Donghae enough!! This was my first extended trip leaving my pup, Milo, with someone outside of my family and was very anxious about being away. While my corgi is incredibly sweet, he can also be challenging to manage and not always easy to read in terms of his body language. However, Donghae approached Milo with remarkable patience and attentiveness and I was genuinely surprised to see Milo open up to a stranger in such a short period of time. What I especially appreciated were Donghae’s thoughtful daily updates. He kept me consistently informed with detailed reports on how Milo spent his day, along with plenty of photos that gave me a peace of mind and was able to tell that he was having a good time (too much fun)… Thank you again!!!”

“Deanna was great with sending me updates and photos of how Loki was doing with his stay. I was in need of a regular sitter in DTLA and she’s definitely going to be my go to.”

“Cathy was a great communicator, very very easy to deal with, and sent tons of pictures. Our Lulu (boxer) was obviously very happy in each picture too, she looked playful and frisky and just how you want to see your pet. Thanks Cathy!”

“Jianing was sooo kind and good at taking care of Khichu. My cat is still young and is shy but Jianing was able to accommodate and take care of Khichu so well. I appreciate how much care Jianing gave and also all the updates with photos and videos. Made me feel at ease while I was away. Thank you so much. Will for sure book again.”

“So helpful amazing keeping me updated throughout the day we met before and I felt really good about leaving my dog with David. He’s been great about my schedule changes and really being flexible to my needs.”

“Sylvia and Ethan was absolutely great! It has been a while since I boarded my goldendoodle and so I worried that he will not acclimate and socialize with other dogs. But I was absolutely wrong! Sylvia sent me numerous photos and videos throughout the day and my dog looked super happy, ate well, and was definitely socializing with other dogs! Sylvia seemed like an expert with dogs, she knows how to take good care and supervise the dogs throughout the stay. I would definitely go back for boarding or even just for daycare. It would be a great opportunity for my dog to socialize with other dogs! Strongly recommend!”

“Hector and Brandon were amazing with Penny! They gave us timely updates with lots of pictures and spoiled her with treasure trove of toys. They have a wonderful space both indoors and outdoors and we could tell Penny got a ton of love while she stayed there!”

“I couldn’t have asked for better care for my dog. They were attentive, kind, and treated my dog like their own. You’ll also receive the best photos of your pet! Highly recommend!”

“Magdalena took care of my dog Marty overnight. She sent many updates with photos/videos. Marty had a very eventful and active stay. He was very happy and Magdalena took great care of him. She also agreed very last minute when I had to leave town, which was hugely appreciated. I would absolutely use her services again.”

Over the last few years, I’ve had family watch Sansa when I’m away and so I was nervous about trying to find another sitter. Ekaterina was very responsive and understanding of my concerns. She kept me updated with photos and a video which reassured me she was doing great and in good hands. She was also able to give Sansa her evening meds which can be difficult since Sansa will refuse it the first few tries. We will definitely be working with Ekaterina again the next time we need a sitter! Definitely recommend her if anyone is looking for someone who will take great care of your dog like their own.

Stephanie is amazing! We felt so comfortable and safe with our pup in her care, which means more and more as he gets older <3. He came home tired and happy, we appreciated the communication the whole way through! We are so grateful and will absolutely work with Stephanie again x

Alexa was so great with Pax we met beforehand so we could introduce her to Pax, and on the day I dropped him off he went straight into her home feeling very comfortable with me leaving. Alexa sent lots of photos throughout his stay of them walking, cuddling up and just having a great time. We live near by, and since being home Pax has led me to her house twice (probably hoping he could go hang out with her again). Fully recommend Alexa and will be back!

Our 13 year old senior pitbull stayed with Mark for a few days, and we are so thankful for how things went. Mark and his lady took such great care of our old man, Reggie. They kept us up to date throughout the stay with pictures and videos, and spoiled Reggie (with permission from us) with treats and brain games. Mark was patient with Reggie on his slow short walks and followed his medication schedule. 10/10 recommend!

Maggie was so sweet and took amazing care of my big boy, Scottie! I had never left him with someone who wasn’t a family member so I felt a bit nervous, but I got daily updates on their hiking and walk adventures which gave me tons of reassurance as a first timer. Her backyard is big, secure, and had so much for him to sniff! 10/10 would recommend Maggie. Thank you!!🐾

Nathan was amazing with my puppy, Power! As a four-month-old puppy who is still potty training and teething, Power requires a lot of attention, and Nathan was incredibly patient, caring, and attentive throughout his stay. Nathan was quick to respond, flexible with availability, and kept me updated with adorable photos and messages that gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Power was well cared for and getting lots of attention. Nathan and his team were both so helpful and made the entire experience stress-free. I would absolutely trust them with Power again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate pet care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
