About: Hi there! We’re Sofia and Robert, lifelong dog lovers who would have a pup of our own—if only we didn’t like traveling so much! Instead, we channel our love for dogs into providing a warm, safe, and loving home for your furry family members while in town. Our journey into dog sitting started when Rob’s best friend and his wife trusted us to care for their cockapoo for weeks at a time. We quickly realized how much we missed it and have now helped multiple friends while they have been away! Growing up, Rob had a dog for most of his life until college. On two different occasions, he and his family hired a licensed dog trainer to help them work with particularly free-spirited dogs. During college, Robert also read Cesar Millan’s book after it was recommended to him. When it comes to dogs, the fundamentals of respect, attention, and reinforcement are important. However, we recognize that your dogs are your family, and we’re always open to hearing how you prefer them to be cared for. With Sofia’s keen attention to detail and commitment to routine, we believe we make a great team! When in LA, we both work from home. Here, your pup will have someone around at all times. We’re happy to tailor walks to your dog’s energy level, and with the Chandler Blvd walking trail just steps away, they’ll have plenty of safe and scenic strolls. We live in a spacious house with a large, 1000sqft, fenced backyard, filled with plants and trees—perfect for running, playing, and lounging in the sun. One of our biggest priorities is communication—we’ll send regular updates, photos, and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. We truly love what we do and treat every dog like our own. Jade was amazing! Definitely a pro and treats the responsibility of watching your pet seriously - as opposed to some who just treat the job as easy passive income. She had an immediate connection to my dog (who is a senior now and very particular) which I think is a major green flag. She lives in an ideal neighborhood with long residential streets lined with grass and trees on each side, which is perfect for my dog who loves to patrol the neighborhood and smell everything. I received long in-depth story-like summaries of their days in the evenings which was a nice way to receive updates (instead of constant updates throughout the day - making me miss my dog more). Communication was solid and felt I could reach out at any time if I needed to contact her for any reason. We will definitely be using Jade in the future if she’s available!
Caroline and her husband took wonderful care of my dog, Mocha, for an 11 night stay. I received pictures daily and any concerns they may have had were communicated promptly (e.g. my dog licking his front paw more than usual). Mocha was happy and healthy when I picked him up.
Megan was amazing! She and her pup Nico were excellent hosts for my active chi-terrier, and they went on many walks and hikes together. She shared lots of photos, which gave me such peace of mind knowing my pup was loved and cared for while we were away. I’m so grateful for Megan and would definitely book with her again!
This was our first time booking with Melissa and it won’t be our last! She was so wonderful with our shy, skittish dog keeping him comfortable but still making sure he got outside for walks and park time. She sent photos and videos often to let us know he was doing ok. Conner is great! Went out of town for five days and was not worried about Larry once. He was communicative, took Larry on some awesome hikes, and sent photos everyday. The entire process was stress-free! I would recommend him to anyone looking for boarding services!
