Hi all! My name is Josie and I’ve been professionally dog walking and pet sitting for the past 5 years. Spending time with dogs has been a consistent thread of happiness in my life; whether I was full time dog walking on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, part time walking in my Brooklyn neighborhood, fostering rescues, or doing longer term boardings, I’ve found so much joy in having the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful and unique pups. I also take a lot of pride in knowing owners can enjoy their time away while their pets are in my care, whether you’re just at work or away on vacation. It can be really hard to relax when you’re separated from the thing you love most in the world. I love sending daily updates & photographs so you can always know what your bestie’s been up to (and I’ve been told I take the best pics💁🏻♀️) I have experience with: senior dogs, medicine administration, human-friendly reactive dogs, large breeds & 5-week-old puppies. I’m not currently booking long term recurring walks (Ex. Every MWT for the next 6 months) due to upcoming travel, but am always open to short term help and happy to be a pinch hitter if your regular walker is unavailable. Schedule
I’m a full time self-employed artist. I have a lot of free time, and especially love picking up last minute walks in the morning or evening. I know how tricky pet care can be when you’re a busy parent or professional and I’d love to take one extra to-do off your plate on a chaotic day.

Safety, trust & environment
When boarding, I like to spend as much time with your pup as possible. A tired dog is a happy dog (especially in a new environment) so lots of long walks and opportunities to sniff, play and explore are a must. I also like to keep your pup’s schedule as close to what it is at home as I can - including feeding time, bed time, and morning routine.
A typical day
I love long walks along the reservoir and doing zoomies together in the open grass. There’s a lot of other dog traffic through there making it a fun place for pups to sniff. On a cool day we’ll get to hang out in front of a coffee shop by my friend’s flower truck and get lots of love and attention from everyone who comes by! For anxious dogs a fun day will be built around their comfort levels and safe places. Walking during quiet hours, avoiding overly crowded spots, and having plenty of time to unwind after an outing.
