Hi! I’m a grad student, artist and sometimes work with young people on the autism spectrum. I have a family member who trains dogs professionally, which sparked my interest in pet care and pet-sitting. Pet care has become one of my many freelance gigs I’ve had to pleasure of doing over the past 4 years but I am new-ish to Rover and mainly use it to promote my pet care services and to help connect with my community here. I am happy to take your pets on walks, and bring them along while I run errands. I occasionally hike and like to be outdoors in nice weather but I also have a calm introverted personality where I enjoy being inside working on projects or remote work while your fur baby is laying around me relaxing.

Jennifer is incredible - with recent last minute work trips, she was so helpful and great with my little dude. Jenni and Bingo (my jack russell) were instant buddies and I am worried maybe he's more upset when she leaves then when I leave town!!! hahah 10/10 would recommend. She's my dog's *second* best friend.
Watched my cat. Great, trustworthy and pet was very happy. Apartment and pet were respected and I would Definitely hire her again ! Truly great.

My name is Jennifer but you can call me Jenni :) As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner, I understand the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to look after your furry friend when you're away. I have 4 years of experience caring for pets professionally. Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, a game of fetch at the park, or simply providing companionship and cuddles while you're away, I'm dedicated to ensuring your pet feels loved, safe, and happy in my care. My approach to pet sitting and dog walking is centered around creating a positive and enriching experience for each pet, I can be a homebody or engage in outdoor activities. I have a hiking trail down the block that I like to take puppers on with me. I prioritize building trust and forming strong bonds with the animals I care for, taking the time to understand their unique personalities, preferences, and needs as I’m quite flexible and adaptable. I am a disability aid during spring and fall school semesters for a severe autistic woman making me well versed in caregiving. I believe in clear communication and transparency every step of the way.
