About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my calm, patient approach and my focus on building trust with both pets and owners. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and needs so I can tailor walks and care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. I’m reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented—I follow instructions closely, send consistent updates, and treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and owners feel completely confident in my care I am currently working a full time job Monday-Friday but I am available evenings during the week and all day on the weekends. Thank you. For dog walking, I focus on safety, consistency, and trust. Before each walk, I make sure the dog’s harness and leash are secure, follow the owner’s preferred routine, and stick to safe walking routes. I pay close attention to the dog’s comfort and body language so they feel calm and confident with me. To build trust with clients, I’m always punctual, respectful of their home, and follow instructions exactly. I send clear updates and photos after each walk so owners know their dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Alicia was so great and communicative. She sent so many cute pics and videos. She took the best care of my cat Starfish for almost 2 weeks. I felt very safe leaving my cat in her care. She took the time to give her sweet cuddles in addition to feeding her daily. She even was able to check there were no leaks during the rainstorm, which was so nice of her. Highly recommend! Would definitely use her again.”

About: Growing up, I always had at least 3 dogs at my mom’s and 2 at my dad’s. I grew up with both high energy, athletically demanding pure breed Australian shepherds, and diverse shelter pups. I know how to meet the demands of a range of breeds. I love every dog I’ve met, whether they warmed to me immediately or needed space to come out of their shell. I know what it’s like to cater to the needs of specific dogs, whether due to age, breed, past history, or illness, and I enjoy it all! I’m currently a student and work part time at a stable! My only unavailable times are between 8-12 Monday through Thursday, however, I’m more than happy to drop by immediately before or after those times, as well as any times any other days. I’m not able to offer boarding, however, due to my flexible schedule and reliable car, I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and stays often and consistently! I’m very comfortable performing most tasks as long as clear instructions are provided and am more than happy to send updates and photos.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs from puppies to senior dogs since I was young. I’m the go-to person for dogsitting for all of my friends’ dogs. Although I’m not a professional dog trainer, I’m always watching dog training videos on my spare time and love training my friends’ dogs whenever opportunities allow. Due to my current living situation, I don’t have a dog of my own, but thought this would be the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with sweet fur babies. I’m currently taking a break from working, so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week unless I have pre-planned trips/events. Happy to accommodate schedules that work for you. Whether you're looking for reliable drop-in visits or neighborhood walks, I'm here to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’d care and respect your pet and home as I would my own.
“Cloe is doing a great job. Our puppy is well taken care of. She is always on time, never leaves a mess, accommodating and trust worthy. We were so lucky to find her!”

“Irina was AMAZING. I was out of town when my sitter could no longer care for my animals and Irina stepped in last minute to help. She was on time, took a ton of pictures, and updated me constantly. I was initially stressed because I didn’t have anyone to care for my animals but Irina made the experience stress free. My animals were well taken care of and loved. I would absolutely use and recommend Irina to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter.”

“My dog is very shy and timid around people she doesn’t know but Megan made sure to make her feel safe. She quickly warmed up to Megan and made the drop in visits successful. We look forward to Megan’s future visits!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I have grown up with cats and have taken care of and have owned dogs in the past. When I greet my friends, sometimes I greet their pets first instead of them… woops. Haha 😆 I believe pets are an extension of their owner and are truly a strong member of the family! I’m a full time teacher with plenty of evening and weekend availability, as well as holidays. I also have some midday availability due to my own teaching schedule. In clients’ homes, I keep things how they are left and follow directions how they are written. I also send update photos and/or texts about services and how their pet is doing. If I have any questions/concerns, I reach out.

About: I am an animal lover that lives in Eagle Rock with 17+ years of experience. I can easily adjust to the different personalities of your pets and if I am boarding your dog, you can expect them to be taken out 3-4 times day and walked at least twice a day. I work from home for an advocacy agency so you can be ensured they will not be left at home. I joined Rover this year after taking care of my dog Rembrandt for 17+ years. During his lifetime he was well-loved, well-fed, walked daily and during his senior years deeply cared for. He taught me much of the experience I have for this role and I am excited to share it with you and your loved one. Thank you for the time and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to me. I start the day with taking your dog out for a walk and the restroom. We’ll come back feed them and let them rest till our next potty break. In the house they’ll always have a full water bowl and depending on the personality we’ll play or let them relax. In the afternoon I’ll feed them dinner at the time you prefer and we’ll go out for one more walk and restroom break. I have an apartment sized nicely for small and medium sized dogs. Outside I live near a residential area and will not be able walked around main streets or heavy traffic.
Somerset pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aksana was an absolutely incredible sitter with excellent communication from start to finish. She consistently kept me updated and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Most importantly, she took such loving care of my baby Bjork and truly made sure she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. I would recommend Aksana 100% to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable sitter, and I would not hesitate to book with her again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Anna enough! She took amazing care of Gabby and Maui treated them with so much love, attention, and responsibility. I felt completely at ease knowing pets were in such good hands. She was very attentive, kind, and reliable, kept me updated, and genuinely cared about their comfort and well-being. It’s clear that she truly loves animals and takes her work seriously. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Gabby and Maui! 🐾💛

Ritzwi & Ben were wonderful from start to finish. They were always on time, very communicative, and incredibly kind. When heavy rains caused some minor basement flooding, they went above and beyond to help us manage it, which meant a lot and gave us real peace of mind. Most importantly, they were so sweet and attentive with our cats—clearly thinking about their comfort and happiness, not just checking a box. They made time for play, pets, and genuine care. We’d happily trust them with our home and pets again.

Laurel was absolutely incredible! This was our first time having her watch Charlie & I had a lot of notes & she accommodated all my very specific asks so he could be comfortable. He’s a quirky cat! Charlie now loves her & she left such thorough descriptions after each visit which was greatly appreciated. So grateful he was in good hands with her & that she was so detail oriented, and accommodating. Highly recommend Laurel!
