About: I've had cats all my life. I've fostered a lot of kittens, which is how I got my tuxedo siblings Scotty and Star in 2015. Scotty passed away last year from kidney disease, and although Star is still with me (and thriving!), I truly love cats and am always looking to make new furry friends.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! I absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.

“I can't say a single negative comment about Kim and her loving care for our dog Forbes. From the moment we talked with Kim on the phone, to meeting her in person we knew and felt our boy would be in great hands. She has a love and tenderness for dogs, especially senior dogs, that you can see as soon as she interacts with our dog. My senior dog has severe separation anxiety from me (mama's boy), and he is usually very stressed after we pick him up from other sitters. When we picked up our boy, he was calm and even snuggling with Kim while I was there. I VERY RARELY see him snuggling with other humans.
