He immediately took to Alex and was glued to her for most of her stay. She took amazing care of both my kitties and was understanding and accepting of my other cat’s boundaries and need for space. In addition, she was kind enough to feed 5 feral cats that I care for in my back yard. My apartment was just as I left it when I got back - garbage taken out, dishes washed, blankets folded etc. Little things but makes such a difference when you’re tired after coming home from a long day of travel. About: While I grew up in a dog family, I've embraced my fate as a cat lady in adulthood! After rescuing my (giant) Norwegian Forest Cat over 5 years ago, I've fallen in love with felines and cared for them via Rover bookings as well as directly for friends and colleagues. After a lot of patience and creating a safe environment for the two of them, my cat and dog are now besties! At the same time, they’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect :). For 10 years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, and recently opened my network to my neighborhood. **Currently, I am open for cat/dog drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions!** The bottom line is: the safety of your cats/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my pets, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every cat is different, and I want to know what makes your cat unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.
