My friend was to keep him while I was gone but had a medical emergency and had to back out at the last second. I messaged Therese & a couple of other people. Therese asked me the important questions (vaccination records, walk and feeding schedules) & asked me to come for a meet and greet which I did & felt completely at ease leaving Boomer with her. About: Over the past two years, I’ve been the proud pet parent of my rescue cat, Duckie, a beautiful York Chocolate cat. Bringing Duckie home taught me so much about building trust, understanding cat behavior, and creating a safe, loving environment where a cat can truly thrive. Every day, I care for all of Duckie’s needs, including feeding her, keeping fresh water available, cleaning and maintaining her litter box, brushing her coat when needed, monitoring her overall health, and making sure she gets plenty of enrichment through play and affection. I’ve learned to recognize her body language and respect her boundaries while also knowing when she’s looking for attention, cuddles, or playtime. As a rescue cat, Duckie has reminded me that every cat has a unique personality and adjusts at their own pace. Caring for her has helped me become patient, observant, and attentive to the little details that make cats feel comfortable and secure. Whether a cat is outgoing, shy, energetic, or prefers a quiet companion, I understand the importance of meeting them where they are and following their routine. In addition to caring for Duckie, I’ve also house sat for friends with cats, making sure they stayed happy and comfortable in their own homes while their owners were away. I followed each cat’s feeding schedule, refreshed their water, cleaned litter boxes, spent quality time playing with them, and gave them plenty of attention so they felt safe and cared for until their families returned. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

“We have only left our dog with anyone else once, nearly a year after adopting him. It was a disaster because of his severe separation anxiety. When we met Sandi and her husband Jeff the first time, our dog was very relaxed and more friendly and affectionate than he ever is with new people. He seemed very comfortable in their home and their yard and we were relieved to have found a place that we felt comfortable trying again. During the 2 days and nights we were away, we were certain he would need to be given CBD or tranquilizers to keep him calm, but he didn't need them! He missed us but did not exhibit the behavior he had before and Sandi and Jeff said that he was happy at his chosen place in the window or on his bed in front of the fireplace, and responded to their affection. I can't say how relieved we are to have found a solution for our occasional needs to visit places where he can't come with us. Sandi made us feel confident that she could handle his anxiety, and she clearly made him feel more at ease and relaxed. I loved the photos she sent, updating us several times over the couple of days we were gone, and we will definitely call again the next time we leave town. What a relief!”

“This was my first time with Olga, and I'm very happy to have found her. Aria's had some stomach issues, and Olga took a good care of her feeding her cooked rice a couple of times. There's always someone in the house, so she has never been left alone, and the backyard is nice and spacious enough to hang out there during a day. I couldn't recommend Olga more!”
