About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. I am able to provide baths, trim nails, administer Medications, reinforce Good behavior through consistent training and mental stimulation. I love working with dogs and serving those who love dogs as well! I work in a Dog boarding facility very close to my home, and therefore have a lot of hands on experience caring for pups. While dogs are in my care, I am able to offer services like nail trimming and ear cleaning at the moment. I am hoping to add bathing services very soon. About: I’ve had pets since I was a child, from dogs & cats to geckos & gerbils. Now I have a 4.5yr old Pomeranian and 5yr old cat! They are both very friendly towards other animals. I look forward to meeting your cuties! I'm currently a part time online student so I’ll have plenty of time with your furbabies! I have a fenced-in backyard and I enjoy parks and outdoors. I thrive with routines and structures. I have an extra crate and space if you want to bring your own crate. Since I have a cat and dog, I have most supplies needed in case your furbaby needs it. My home is also pet-proof and safe, no cords accessible or anything on the floors. Pets are also welcomed on furniture so they are not restricted to the floor.

About: Cats are just incredible. I guess you could say I’m pretty obsessed. Currently my two cats are great, however one has some health issues. As a result I have experience administering meds calmly and peacefully. As much as I cherish my own cats, it makes me happy to spend time with others, especially when their humans are gone and they might be feeling lonely.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! About: I’ve had pets since I was a child, from dogs & cats to geckos & gerbils. Now I have a 4.5yr old Pomeranian and 5yr old cat! They are both very friendly towards other animals. I thrive with routines and structures. I have an extra crate and space if you want to bring your own crate. Since I have a cat and dog, I have most supplies needed in case your furbaby needs it. My home is also pet-proof and safe, no cords accessible or anything on the floors. Pets are also welcomed on furniture so they are not restricted to the floor.

About: My name is Nubia and I have loved and owned dogs pretty much my whole life. I love taking dogs out to explore and getting to know them. Who’s day doesn’t get better when seeing a dog. I’ve also been doing Wag for about 6-7 months now and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. There’s been walks where I have had to walk the smallest dog and then there has been times where it’s the biggest dog. I do take treats on my walks for those that need it for motivation, to sit and stay or basic commands during the walk. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed. Pets aren’t “spoiled,” they are cherished. Taking care of beautiful creatures that love us and make us their whole world is a gift. They deserve kindness, compassion, and respect. We were actually going to Texas for the weekend, and ended up getting stranded there as a result of the epic winter storm. Our immediate concern was what to do with Jaz, and we asked Javier to extend the boarding 2 more nights, which he was more than happy to do for us. He clearly has a great love of dogs, and was very conscientious regarding the amount of food we had left for Jaz, as well as the medicine/vitamins she's currently taking.
