About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.
About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I live in a quiet first-floor apartment with a small fenced patio. For safety, any time spent outside on the patio is always supervised, and dogs are kept on a leash unless we've agreed otherwise. If you prefer that your dog doesn't use the patio, I'm happy to follow your preferences. I tailor each dog's routine to their individual needs. Whether that means quiet walks, extra potty breaks, or more time to explore, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. If your dog enjoys getting out, I can also take them to nearby parks, and I regularly enjoy spending time in nature with my own dog. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while they're with me. I'll follow your instructions closely, keep you updated with photos, and make sure both your dog and Chica are comfortable throughout the stay.

I love playing with them , walking with them , giving them a bath and training them . My kids love dogs so your dogs will have the chance to play and love them as well. Im full time working with dogs . I play with balls and smart games . Going park walking or running . I would like to learn more about them . In order to play safely, if the dogs are friendly, I let them play with each other. If not, I have a gate and a play pan to separate them from each other so that they don't hurt each other.

About: Growing up I always had a dog as a pet ever since I was 5 years old. “We boarded our pup Yuna with Jane for 5 nights while traveling internationally. We usually leave her with family so we are pretty new to Rover but we instantly felt at ease after a meet and greet with Jane and her sweet dog Mochi.
