“We have only left our dog with anyone else once, nearly a year after adopting him. It was a disaster because of his severe separation anxiety. When we met Sandi and her husband Jeff the first time, our dog was very relaxed and more friendly and affectionate than he ever is with new people. He seemed very comfortable in their home and their yard and we were relieved to have found a place that we felt comfortable trying again. During the 2 days and nights we were away, we were certain he would need to be given CBD or tranquilizers to keep him calm, but he didn't need them! He missed us but did not exhibit the behavior he had before and Sandi and Jeff said that he was happy at his chosen place in the window or on his bed in front of the fireplace, and responded to their affection. I can't say how relieved we are to have found a solution for our occasional needs to visit places where he can't come with us. Sandi made us feel confident that she could handle his anxiety, and she clearly made him feel more at ease and relaxed. I loved the photos she sent, updating us several times over the couple of days we were gone, and we will definitely call again the next time we leave town. What a relief!”

“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. About: A little about me, before the pandemic I walked dogs daily for 3 years for a local dog walking company as a side hustle to acting. The past 6 years I have housesat dogs, boarded dogs, and fed & cared for cats. I am joining Rover to expand back to walking dogs, and to continue feeding cats, boarding and dog sitting.
