“We had the BEST experience with Buddy’s Retreat (Alejandro & Christine), when we needed a dog sitter for our pup, Pluto for a week! Pluto was taken on walks and had lots of playtime in the backyard with their dog, Suki. Christine and Alejandro sent photos and videos everyday, which eased my mind as you could tell that he was having a great time! Pluto has separation anxiety, so it was wonderful to see how comfortable he was at Buddy’s Retreat! Best of all, Pluto was given lots of pets and love!! When picking him up, I know he was happy to see me, but when we left Alejandro & Christine’s house and drove off, Pluto seemed sad to be leaving their company! I’ve cared for kittens, adult cats, senior cats, and rescues, always making sure they receive the care, patience, and love they deserve. When my senior cat, Woody, developed a brain tumor and ataxia, I provided him with around-the-clock hospice care and later arranged for him to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by comfort and familiarity. “If I could give more than five stars to Ginneh I would. I am actually at a loss for words with how well she took care of our two kitties, one of which can be standoffish to newcomers and both of which are low key needy for affection. Any time we’ve left them at home for travels, they immediately yell at us upon our return, but this time we came home to cat tv on the screen and the cats were so tranquil. Ginneh also provided thorough daily updates with each check in and ample photos. We just moved to the area and so we were very nervous about this trip, but Ginneh immediately set us at ease knowing our babies were in good hands. We will absolutely be repeat customers. About: I volunteered at the Burbank Animal Shelter for six years where I worked with socializing feral and scared cats to get them ready for adoption. I also was part of their barn cat program finding homes for barn cats. I’ve adopted four animals from the Burbank shelter, three cats and one dog. I adopted my senior dog and she lived to be 17 years old! She was the love of my life. I have cared for friends’ cats and dogs when they are out of town. I’ve also fostered cats and dogs both senior and non-senior. I’ve been raised with cats and dogs my whole life and I love every single one dearly. If there’s a dog at a party, you best believe I’m hanging out with it instead of the people. I am currently between jobs so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available on weekends and weekdays alike. I occasionally have appointments I can work around. I follow the pet owner’s instructions at their home—they know their pet best and I will do whatever is needed to make sure the animal is comfortable and feels safe. All dogs and cats have different temperaments and different ways they react to new people so I can take it slow or walk right up, it just depends what the owner wants.

About: I live in an 800sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. I usually keep cats in the bedroom and dogs in the living room or whatever works. If you are not ok with that, please confirm with me if I am boarding any other pets. Not spayed pets are ok and I make sure there is nothing to worry about. I absolutely love pets and even after they come back to their actual home, I still look for them around my apartment. They also get used to me very quickly because I give them a lot of attention and play time. Once a friend asked me to take care of their pet, and that’s when it all started. So I have been taking care of pets professionally for the past 2 years and it has been a real pleasure for me. In my life, I have had 10 cats and 2 dogs (German Shepherd) so I know how to act in any situation, even emergency. I have experience with pets that have separation anxiety. I am strong and can handle even the wildest creatures and treat them gently even if they misbehave. I do not raise my voice and I do not have any strict rules. I won't keep your pet like in a "prison cell". Playing with pets is one of my most favorite things to do. I also love running and if requested, I can take your pup for some physical activity in a park. I always stop and look around before I cross the street and never cross on red light. I love taking photos of pets and if you would like, I can send you photos of them daily. I do not have experience in grooming but I will be happy to give your pet a bath so it's clean and fresh when you pick it up. The most important to me is to create a safe and loving environment for your best friend so you can have peace of mind while you are away. I come from Poland and I am a Polish/American citizen. I am currently a nursing student at LA City College. Most of my classes are online so I spend 70% of my time at home. I have a surveillance camera in my apartment to check on pets and talk to them while I am gone. I do have toys, balls, food bowls, dog and cat beds, and cat scratchers. I can also provide my own litter box (your own litter is preferred). I am a trustworthy and responsible person. Your pet is the most important when it is in my hands. I live in a peaceful neighborhood with a lot of greenery to take dogs on walks. I have no strict rules around my house. I don't mind having your pet on my furniture or have it sleep with me (unless you're not ok with that). I never ever lock pets in the bathroom or cage, or even in the darkness alone. I always leave a small light on. Also, if it is hot/cold outside, I make sure to keep comfortable temperature inside. Kitties love my portable heaters! Also, I have a Sony camera which I use to take pretty pictures of the little ones (if interested, let me know).

About: I’ve always had pets of my own and have been caring for animals for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with kittens, adult pets, and senior or medically complex animals, including providing around-the-clock hospice care for my own beloved cat after his ataxia diagnosis. I currently share my home with Leon, my one-year-old cat, and Chicken, my 26+ year-old African Grey parrot—both rescues (Chicken was found abandoned and taken in) and very loved. I love caring for pets—cats, dogs, and birds of all types and sizes—and I’m happy to welcome other small animals too, just let me know! I treat every pet with patience, attention, and affection, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work from home and my schedule is flexible. My goal is always to schedule any services based on the needs of you and your pet(s). I will always follow any instructions on how you prefer your pet to be cared for. Leon is an indoor kitty with unlimited access to fresh air and sunshine from his lounging cots attached to our large windows. He loves his wet food, and his meals are on a “flexible” schedule, and no all day grazing. He receives lots of playtime with his humans and more independently. Of course, he gets brushed, not always with a happy purr, but he gets as much as he will tolerate.

When I was 13, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter, where I learned how to handle cats and dogs with different levels of socialization. I also rescued a feral kitten from the street and then foster failed with another kitten. About: My name is Andrea, I am 39 years old and I work full time at home. I have a 15 year old daughter and we previously had 3 pets, who have since died of old age. I have taken in many animals over the years and love for them like my own. The positive thing about working from home is that the dogs are rarely alone. I can assure you that your dogs with be very well cared for while you are away! :) About this sitter: Along with pet sitting in my home, I would also be happy to care for your pets in your home as well. Whatever you need, I am here to make this experience the best for your dogs , and to ensure they are cared for and happy! About my yard I live in a nice walking friendly neighborhood and will take your pets on lots of nice walks. I am home all day working from my computer, and will bring your pets out every few hours and play with them throughout the day. I work from home and am there with them all day. I am very active so I do take a lot of walks with your dogs and can also bring them to the park if you’d like! I have a 3 bedroom apartment and your pets are free to roam in all areas. On walks, they will be on a leash at all times and I typically walk away from other people/pets so that there is no potential problem.

Two Ragdoll cats looked after me as a baby, and by kindergarten I was raising my own Maine Coon, Izzy, alongside two other Maine Coons and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lulu. My parents taught me early that caring for animals means paying close attention to what each one needs in any given moment, and that lesson has stayed with me. Later, when my Mom adopted a Dachshund puppy, I learned firsthand how differently smaller breeds think, move, and communicate — and how much you have to adapt your approach to meet them where they are. Every pet I have cared for I have been with for their entire life, which means I understand the real differences between caring for a senior dog and a younger one, and take that responsibility seriously. Currently I live in a house without any pets of my own so I can provide my undivided attention to your pet. My apartment issurrounded by great walking trails and am happy to take your pet out whenever they feel like it — I love a long neighbourhood walk as much as they do. I take one pet at a time so your animal always has my full attention, and I'll send you daily photos and updates every step of the way. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or simply curl up somewhere quiet, I'll follow their lead and make sure they feel completely at home. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I have over 20 years of personal experience caring for cats and dogs of multiple breeds. I am a recent graduate and freelance filmmaker who works from home, which means I am available and present throughout the day, every day. My weekly schedule is genuinely flexible — I am fully available Monday through Sunday. The rest of my time is spent working from my computer at home, responding to emails, editing, and working on grant submissions, so your pet will never be alone for long stretches. In the afternoons I go for a run through the neighbourhood trails surrounding my building — for high-energy dogs, this is a fantastic opportunity to get out, burn some energy, and really stretch their legs. Evenings are quiet and relaxed at home, which means your pet has calm, consistent company right through the night. I take one pet at a time and accept no other visits or bookings during that period, so whoever is in my care always has my full and undivided attention. I live in an explicitly pet-friendly apartment building with a large living room that gets plenty of natural light — a calm, comfortable space for any animal to settle into. I work from home, so I am present and attentive throughout the day and will always be available to respond to whatever your pet needs in any given moment, whether that's a walk, some playtime, or simply quiet company nearby. I have a car and am able to transport your pet if needed, including in the event of an emergency. I believe strongly in letting animals set the pace — I will never force interaction and will always give your pet the space they need to feel safe and comfortable. I live with a roommate who is typically out of the house during the day at work, so your pet will generally have a calm, low-traffic environment. He is very comfortable around animals and completely supportive of the arrangement. I take one pet at a time and do not accept any other visits or drop-ins during a booking, so your animal never has to share the space or my attention with another pet. For cats, I have a litter box, scratcher, and toys available. For dogs, I have great walking trails immediately surrounding my building and am happy to take them out as often as they like — and for high-energy breeds, my afternoon runs are an excellent outlet. I also offer drop-in visits at your home, doggy daycare, and house sitting for owners who would prefer their pet stay in their own familiar surroundings. I will send daily photos and updates throughout any booking so you always know exactly how your pet is doing, and I am reachable by phone or message throughout the day.
