I’ve cared for kittens, adult cats, senior cats, and rescues, always making sure they receive the care, patience, and love they deserve. When my senior cat, Woody, developed a brain tumor and ataxia, I provided him with around-the-clock hospice care and later arranged for him to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by comfort and familiarity. About: I was the go to pet sitter in my old neighborhood and loved every second! Now that I moved to the big city I want to get back into it. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are huge dog lovers. We share our home with our sweet 20 lb Chihuahua, Bambi. She’s very friendly and great at matching other dogs’ energy - if your dog loves to play, she’ll happily play along, and if your dog prefers more space, she respects that too. She reads the room very well. I run my own design studio, so I’m home most of the time and can give dogs lots of attention throughout the day. We also have a cozy, clean, fully fenced backyard with a tree where dogs can safely potty, play, and enjoy sunbathing. I love working outside in the backyard and spending time outdoors with the dogs. We’d love to connect with more Burbank neighbors and take great care of your pup while you’re away. She is caring, punctual, professional, responsible and accommodating. Her home is super dog-friendly, comfortable and has a big beautiful backyard that the dogs can freely run and play. Jodie updated us regularly with pictures and text messages so I could see our dog was enjoying her "vacation"! Her three dogs are all so sweet. The moment we arrived, they greeted our dog, showed her around the house and took her to the yard. When we picked her up, we found her laying on the bed with her new friend. She looked very relaxed and content. Initially we were a bit worried that our 1-year-old puppy may have too much energy for Jodie's dogs, but that was nothing to worry about! About: I am a long life lover of animals and especially dogs. I had a dog of my own for 15 years and I'm familiar with all stages from a young puppy to elderly care. About: I've never really taken care of dogs, other than pet sit for friends and family but I have a dog and 2 cats! They are my everything and I'll care for yours like I care for mine. I work until 7 pm on Monday-Thursday and work from home on Fridays, usually will just have meetings until 2 then I am free. Also free on the weekends! I will take dogs on a long or short walk, whatever they're used to and can handle. i can also hike with dogs if that's what they like to do. For cats, I play with them with their toys or cuddle with them if they're not into playing.
“Amazing care for our two pups!! Elena was super responsive and understanding, even for our last-minute request. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. Elena took them in stride and handled them with care, as if they were her own. 10/10!! Couldn’t have asked for a better pet-sitter in our time of need. Thank you so much, Elena!!”

I’m experienced with kittens, adult pets, and senior or medically complex animals, including providing around-the-clock hospice care for my own beloved cat after his ataxia diagnosis. I currently share my home with Leon, my one-year-old cat, and Chicken, my 26+ year-old African Grey parrot—both rescues (Chicken was found abandoned and taken in) and very loved. I love caring for pets—cats, dogs, and birds of all types and sizes—and I’m happy to welcome other small animals too, just let me know! I treat every pet with patience, attention, and affection, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work from home and my schedule is flexible. My goal is always to schedule any services based on the needs of you and your pet(s). I will always follow any instructions on how you prefer your pet to be cared for. Leon is an indoor kitty with unlimited access to fresh air and sunshine from his lounging cots attached to our large windows. I’m dependable, patient, and will make sure your dog gets a safe, fun walk with lots of love and attention. I can come before my 8 to 3 job and during lunch breaks and right after work. it is very flexible for me. Whatever you need. As soon as I get home, I go check on all my animals. Ask them how their day is play with them for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure their food and water bowls are always filled. Take them on at least three walks a day.

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover who grew up with a small menagerie of pets. I also took care of my neighbors' dogs when they traveled. When I was 13, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter, where I learned how to handle cats and dogs with different levels of socialization. As an adult, I adopted a dog with severe separation anxiety and later managed his other health issues as a senior. I also rescued a feral kitten from the street and then foster failed with another kitten. So if your pet is a rescue and/or nervous around strangers, I will be sure to treat them with extra patience and care. I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment, so I'm available for both one-time and recurring care for your pets. I would love to make their care part of my routine! It is important that your pet feels safe and like their routine is minimally interrupted while in my care.
