About: I’ve always had pets of my own and have been caring for animals for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with kittens, adult pets, and senior or medically complex animals, including providing around-the-clock hospice care for my own beloved cat after his ataxia diagnosis. I currently share my home with Leon, my one-year-old cat, and Chicken, my 26+ year-old African Grey parrot—both rescues (Chicken was found abandoned and taken in) and very loved. I love caring for pets—cats, dogs, and birds of all types and sizes—and I’m happy to welcome other small animals too, just let me know! I treat every pet with patience, attention, and affection, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work from home and my schedule is flexible. My goal is always to schedule any services based on the needs of you and your pet(s). I will always follow any instructions on how you prefer your pet to be cared for. Otherwise, I will always care for them in the safest and healthiest way available. The same way I care for my own pets. Leon is an indoor kitty with unlimited access to fresh air and sunshine from his lounging cots attached to our large windows. He loves his wet food, and his meals are on a “flexible” schedule, and no all day grazing. He receives lots of playtime with his humans and more independently. Of course, he gets brushed, not always with a happy purr, but he gets as much as he will tolerate.

About: All dogs have different personalities and I enjoy getting to know each one. I’ve been trusted to dogsit for friends and family over the years and for our time together I definitely treat them as if they’re my own. My time is flexible and I’m available most days of the week. I have a part-time job that has a varied schedule but I’m always open to communicate time slots that could work for both our schedules. I do my best to keep a keen eye on the whereabouts and curiosities the pet may get into. I make sure that I stay on track for any dietary conditions that are provided and if approved, give treats when necessary.

About: I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. As a little kid, I would spend hours at my aunt’s house playing with her dogs — my mom would even have to come call me so I’d finally go home! Growing up, I had many different types of pets, but the one thing I always dreamed of having was a dog of my own. I begged my parents for years, and when I finally got my first dog at 13 years old, he instantly became my whole world. From a very young age, I was always the person friends and family trusted with their pets. I watched a friend’s cat while they were away and even cared for my school’s bunny for an entire day! Later on, when I moved to Sydney, Australia, I volunteered at an animal rescue center and spent the next 10 years pet sitting for both dogs and cats — something I truly loved and felt very passionate about. Two Ragdoll cats looked after me as a baby, and by kindergarten I was raising my own Maine Coon, Izzy, alongside two other Maine Coons and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lulu. My apartment issurrounded by great walking trails and am happy to take your pet out whenever they feel like it — I love a long neighbourhood walk as much as they do. I take one pet at a time and accept no other visits or bookings during that period, so whoever is in my care always has my full and undivided attention. I live in an explicitly pet-friendly apartment building with a large living room that gets plenty of natural light — a calm, comfortable space for any animal to settle into. I work from home, so I am present and attentive throughout the day and will always be available to respond to whatever your pet needs in any given moment, whether that's a walk, some playtime, or simply quiet company nearby. I have a car and am able to transport your pet if needed, including in the event of an emergency. I believe strongly in letting animals set the pace — I will never force interaction and will always give your pet the space they need to feel safe and comfortable. I live with a roommate who is typically out of the house during the day at work, so your pet will generally have a calm, low-traffic environment. He is very comfortable around animals and completely supportive of the arrangement. I take one pet at a time and do not accept any other visits or drop-ins during a booking, so your animal never has to share the space or my attention with another pet. For cats, I have a litter box, scratcher, and toys available. For dogs, I have great walking trails immediately surrounding my building and am happy to take them out as often as they like — and for high-energy breeds, my afternoon runs are an excellent outlet. I also offer drop-in visits at your home, doggy daycare, and house sitting for owners who would prefer their pet stay in their own familiar surroundings. I will send daily photos and updates throughout any booking so you always know exactly how your pet is doing, and I am reachable by phone or message throughout the day.
