Our dog Mabel spends a lot of time with me since I work from home, so I was a little anxious about how she would do overnight with someone she didn’t know. At her previous sitters, she barked for the first two hours during a daycare trial. At Cynthia’s, she made fast friends with Yoshi and Mamba and made herself right at home. Cynthia sent photos and updates about Mabel’s play, sleep, and eating. Mabel received snuggles and so much attention from the whole family. She came back happy and without any transitional behavioral issues she had with her first sitter. About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. Whether that means quiet walks, extra potty breaks, or more time to explore, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. If your dog enjoys getting out, I can also take them to nearby parks, and I regularly enjoy spending time in nature with my own dog. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while they're with me. I'll follow your instructions closely, keep you updated with photos, and make sure both your dog and Chica are comfortable throughout the stay.
About: When I come to California, I occasionally take care of my friend’s dogs. I visit at home, walk, feed, take to myself during the day or night. I also want to keep your pet company. I’m part-time student and online worker. Absolutely unavailable until 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate our meeting on other days. I have a 2-floors loft apartment and fenced yard for dogs on my roof top. Every day I walk for 2 hours in Glendale neighborhoods, could walk with your pet for pleasure. We have a quite community so why I can't care of difficult special needs dogs. Warn me in advance if you want to give me a puppy under 1 year old without vaccines. I will release the day from other bookings and clean the apartment. Because babies need a clean and safe environment.

About: I adopted my first own dog in 2012 and cared for him until he passed of old age in 2024. He was a half English half American bulldog. Now I have a French bulldog, an 8‑year‑old cat and a guinea pig. I understand dog and cat behavior and routines really well. “Our original sitter was impacted by the Eaton Canyon fire, which resulted in us scrambling to find another sitter. Our dog Mabel spends a lot of time with me since I work from home, so I was a little anxious about how she would do overnight with someone she didn’t know. At her previous sitters, she barked for the first two hours during a daycare trial. At Cynthia’s, she made fast friends with Yoshi and Mamba and made herself right at home. Cynthia sent photos and updates about Mabel’s play, sleep, and eating. Mabel received snuggles and so much attention from the whole family. She came back happy and without any transitional behavioral issues she had with her first sitter. Even though I work from home, I think sending Mabel in for daycare every now and then would be a great way for her to be social and play. She had so much fun and I know she’d love to come back.
