Before the trip, we were so worried about one of our cats being sick and might have ER situation anytime. So we asked Shay to drop in visit to pill the cat everyday for 9 days, and sleepover every night. Shay was not only on time everyday but also made each pilling comfortable for the cat. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!

About: I’ve always had pets of my own and have been caring for animals for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with kittens, adult pets, and senior or medically complex animals, including providing around-the-clock hospice care for my own beloved cat after his ataxia diagnosis.
