She and her husband live on a nice street with sidewalks and grassy areas that are perfect for dogs to go on their walks. I am sure Charlie loved it. At pick up time, she was flexible and willing to coordinate with my friend as I was not able to pick up Charlie myself. I would recommend her highly and would not hesitate to have Charlie stay with her in the future.”

When we met Sandi and her husband Jeff the first time, our dog was very relaxed and more friendly and affectionate than he ever is with new people. He seemed very comfortable in their home and their yard and we were relieved to have found a place that we felt comfortable trying again. During the 2 days and nights we were away, we were certain he would need to be given CBD or tranquilizers to keep him calm, but he didn't need them! He missed us but did not exhibit the behavior he had before and Sandi and Jeff said that he was happy at his chosen place in the window or on his bed in front of the fireplace, and responded to their affection. I can't say how relieved we are to have found a solution for our occasional needs to visit places where he can't come with us. Sandi made us feel confident that she could handle his anxiety, and she clearly made him feel more at ease and relaxed. I loved the photos she sent, updating us several times over the couple of days we were gone, and we will definitely call again the next time we leave town. What a relief!”

About: Over the past two years, I’ve been the proud pet parent of my rescue cat, Duckie, a beautiful York Chocolate cat. Bringing Duckie home taught me so much about building trust, understanding cat behavior, and creating a safe, loving environment where a cat can truly thrive. Every day, I care for all of Duckie’s needs, including feeding her, keeping fresh water available, cleaning and maintaining her litter box, brushing her coat when needed, monitoring her overall health, and making sure she gets plenty of enrichment through play and affection. I’ve learned to recognize her body language and respect her boundaries while also knowing when she’s looking for attention, cuddles, or playtime. As a rescue cat, Duckie has reminded me that every cat has a unique personality and adjusts at their own pace. Caring for her has helped me become patient, observant, and attentive to the little details that make cats feel comfortable and secure. Whether a cat is outgoing, shy, energetic, or prefers a quiet companion, I understand the importance of meeting them where they are and following their routine. In addition to caring for Duckie, I’ve also house sat for friends with cats, making sure they stayed happy and comfortable in their own homes while their owners were away. I followed each cat’s feeding schedule, refreshed their water, cleaned litter boxes, spent quality time playing with them, and gave them plenty of attention so they felt safe and cared for until their families returned. I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat with someone else, and I treat every cat as if they were my own - with patience, kindness, and lots of love.

About: Growing up with pets i’ve learned to care and love for them. I watch my friends’ dogs whenever I can just because I enjoy their company. Id love to meet new dogs and take them on walks because I also believe it’s a good way to stay in shape! I’m also able to do drop-ins to check on your pets and provide them with whatever you need. I’m also able to provide transportation in able to bring your pets to the best spots! I enjoy walking dogs so much I will take my time and make it the best experience for your dogs! All kinds of dogs are accepted by me and I also enjoy playing with them and having lots of fun!! I hope to meet your dog soon!! I work remote so I will be home at all times to keep an eye on your pets! I will never be away from them for more than a few hours at a time. The safety of your pet matters the most to me! I can keep them in a crate if you’d prefer it or I can keep them with me on the couch or on the bed.

About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

I have missed having a dog around and started pet sitting for friends and family and absolutely loved it. I have a house in Glendale with a fenced in backyard in a very safe neighborhood. So whether it's a day time visit or a fortnight stay, I have exactly what you need. My top priority is SAFETY and I will watch your dog like a hawk while they are with me. I know the hardest part of travel is leaving your pet with a stranger so I strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. I am a part time actor and have a very open schedule so your pet will never be alone for long periods of time. I love to cuddle on the couch, take walks around the neighborhood or play in the yard. About: Hi there! I signed up for Rover for a little extra cash and to get my fix of spending time with animals! I have been an animal enthusiast and pet lover all my life. I enjoy dogs of all ages but seniors hold a very special place in my heart. My dog passed a few years ago and being with him from puppy to senior was such a blessing to have known such a special dog. I often take care of my friends's/sibling's dogs and cats too. Patience and kindness are what they deserve! I have extensive experience with cats as well, particularly with administering medicine or specific health care needs.
