“We live several hours away and needed someone to watch our pup while we went on a cruise. I searched for someone and found Yulia! She had experience with dogs, she has no dogs, she takes one client at a time plus dogs are allowed on the bed. PERFECT 👌 Yulia knew how hard it was for me to leave Taco. His first time. She sent photos right away! She let me know how he was feeling and how he did throughout the day and night. We had awesome communication during his stay plus photos and videos. They truly helped me. He went on long walks and received a lot of loving from both Julia and her husband. Mr. Taco also learned a new trick!! She taught him to lay down! I'm truly thankful and grateful to have found Yulia. I hope she's available when I need her next! I may change my schedule to fit hers! Warm hugs. ❤️”

“Wonderful, took loving care of our dog - sent pictures and updates daily; answered questions immediately; our dog took to her right away. Upon picking him up, you could tell her was well-cared for during his stay with her. We would/will use her again to look after our dog in a heartbeat. Awesome!”

“Another amazing boarding for my dog Eve. Irina is always so good with her and makes her feel so at home. I'm always at ease when I have to go away. Thanks once again!”

“Dan was fantastic with Nancy. I was nervous about her staying with other dogs but he is seasoned and has the feeding already worked out. She had a blast and came home happy. Will definitely book with Dan again!”
“Daria did a fantastic job with lupo! She was very gentle, patient, and understanding. Lupo tends to get a bit nervous with new people/environments but Daria did a great job making him feel comfortable and providing good care. She also is very responsive and communicates in a timely manner. Will for sure book her again!”

“Jonalyn was an excellent sitter! She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. She was great with my dog and he had a wonderful time. I would recommend her!”

“Bianca did a great job watching our dog Greg. The communication was great throughout and there were lots of updates. I’m so glad our pups got along well and Greg was well taken care of.”

“Wonderful dog loving family that took excellent care of my 2 dogs (Shiba and Cavalier King Charles) while I was away for 2 weeks. The dogs felt right at home, received lots of affection, and I received pics throughout their stay. Will definitely leave my dogs in their care again!”

“Greg was amazing. He genuinely loves dogs💕. Was wonderful with our precocious 5 month basset hound. He updated me with pictures and status. I cannot recommend him enough.”

I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to care for your pets when you need me. I am always on time and communicate often. I will follow your instructions on how to care for your baby in your home. I can even send photos and keep you updated throughout the day. (I should mention that I am also a professional pet photographer!)
“I loved all of the photos and updates Yvonne sent throughout my dog’s stay with her. It is apparent she loves the dogs she cares for as her own! He was so happy with her and all of her pups.”

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
“Josie is amazing! My pup had a great time with her while I was away on vacation. I think he had a better time than I did! Josie is very responsive and sends daily updates with the best photos. I will definitely rebook with Josie again.”

“Diana was just what our anxious shy girl needed! Her and Morrison took wonderful care of Effie for a week and during that week we received daily updates proving she was in good hands. Diana reviewed our guide with diligence and asked appropriate questions so we knew she followed our “special” requests like giving medicine, weird feeding strategies and overall love and patience. We will definitely be booking again!!!”

“Barbara was wonderful with my dog, Mila. Mila wakes up very early and needs extra attention, and Barbara was patient, caring, and attentive to her needs. I felt comfortable knowing Mila was in good hands. I highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

“Alla was great with Satsuki! It was Satsuki’s first time staying with someone else and Satsuki was immediately comfortable! She sent lots of updates and took great care of Satsuki. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Bertha was wonderful! I am hesitant to leave my dog with new people but Eugene settled in so easily with Bertha P. She was incredibly thoughtful about pictures and updates, and that made my time away so much more relaxing!”

Having lived with cats off and on throughout my life, I truly understand their unique language—from the social butterflies who crave interactive playtime to the sensitive souls who just need a calm, patient presence. I pride myself on maintaining their precise routines and creating a stress-free environment, ensuring your cat feels completely safe, respected, and pampered while you are away.
“Aksana did a great job looking after my kitties! she was very communicative and followed the directions I gave to a tee! I definitely will be rebooking in the future any time I need a sitter.”

About: I have over four years of experience providing dedicated care for cats during long-term house-sitting assignments. Throughout high school, I managed a consistent schedule of twice daily visits for 2–3 weeks at a time, ensuring my cat felt comfortable and cared for while their owners were away. During these visits, I handled all essential daily tasks, including feeding, refreshing water, and meticulously maintaining litter boxes. Beyond the basics, I prioritize quality playtime and companionship to keep cats mentally stimulated and happy. Whether your cat is high energy or prefers quiet company, I am committed to following their specific routine and providing the reliable care they deserve!
“Ali rules!! She took the time to meet w me prior to my trip twice! When the plan changed, she was flexible. Ali took great care of my cat while I was away. Thanks for the fun pictures everyday and keeping him company. I highly recommend her and will have her again if she’s available for my next trip. Thank you Ali!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life! Since my very first Boxer, Roxy, I’ve been completely in love with the companionship of dogs. In fact, I raised my own dog, Rambo, from a puppy, and he still lives with me today! As a fellow dog owner, I know firsthand how challenging it can sometimes be to juggle everything that comes with having a pet. Let me help ease those worries and be there for you when you need a hand! I absolutely love everything about animals and can’t wait to meet your pup soon! I live super close to the beach and several great dog parks. I’m very attentive to each owner’s preferences for how and where their dog should be walked, and I’ll always check in to make sure your pup gets the care that suits them best. Since I’m a long-distance runner, I’m more than happy (and able!) to give your dog as much exercise as they need! I'm super flexible and easygoing, but I do have to be strict about overnight dog-sitting cancellations to keep things fair for everyone. That said, if we set up a plan to walk your pup, you can count on me, I’d never miss it! 😊 Your pet's happiness means so much to me! I won’t be able to provide house-sitting services, but I do have a park very close to my home where I can take your dog for walks and, with your permission, even enjoy some playtime in the dog park! Rest assured, I’ll be the only one caring for your dog, so you can feel completely at ease!
About: I have 1 small dog, Stevie, who I love dearly and I have more love to give! Stevie is 6 and I recently said goodbye to my 16-year-old pup, Kiwi, so I'm comfortable with a range of age care and ability. I have patience and compassion for your pet's quirkiness and trauma responses, and respect for their boundaries. I can't wait to meet them! I currently have a very flexible schedule since I work from home, so with enough notice, I can make a lot of scenarios or time frames work. [Note: I am taking a break from in-home overnight care at this time to have some space to grieve my senior pup I said bye to, but feel free to inquire and I may be able to assist on a case by case basis] My dog, Stevie, mostly likes to keep to herself (she becomes playful with time) so does best sharing space with dogs who don't mind the company but don't need furry playmates. I never let dogs off leash unless explicitly given permission by the owner, and I don't have a yard but live in a safe and walkable neighborhood and can take them out frequently if staying with me. At your home, I will always respect any house rules you have. On walks, I'm careful to pay attention to my surroundings and I am comfortable handling dogs who are reactive to other dogs and animals.
“Sarah was amazing! She sent daily updates and was very pleasant and friendly. My kitties seemed super comfortable and happy they had company while I was away! I would definitely have her pet stay again!”

“I always feel confident leaving my senior diabetic cat in Tamar’s care. She administers his insulin without issue, makes sure he eats and is cared for while I’m gone. He loves her too ❤️10/10 recommend Tamar!!”

“I cannot recommend Alina enough. I am a first time cat mama, and this was my first time leaving her for a long vacation. By the end of the first visit, I knew Luna was in great hands and that she would be well taken care of while I was away. Alina was fantastic with providing detailed updates, and also provided plenty of photos of her time with Luna. I will definitely be rebooking with Alina whenever I am away.”

“Irina was so sweet and accommodating! She sent multiple pictures and regular updates. I was nervous to leave my kitten and she made him feel right at home. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Ruby is an exceptional cat sitter! She took wonderful care of my cat, ensuring he was well-fed and entertained. She communicated promptly and sent pictures and videos when she was there. I felt completely at ease leaving my baby with her. Highly recommend Ruby to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!
“Bianca is very nice and reliable. My dog had a great time with her. We arrived a bit later than expected, but she took my dog out for a walk and even waited for me downstairs. I would definitely ask for her help again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Awesome spur of the moment stay. Daria’s can-do attitude and multiple photos throughout the visit allowed us to enjoy our time away without worries. We will look no farther for the perfect petsitter the next time we visit Glendale…we found Daria!!! Many thanks from Chula Cholula’s family 💗”

“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of my persnickety senior dog. He takes a while to warm up to people and both her and her dog Fang gave him the space he needed to feel comfortable in their home. Would definitely book again!”

“Jonalyn has been walking our dog regularly for a bit over a month, and we (including our dog) have been very pleased! She goes above and beyond to be very accommodating, maximizes the walking time, and sends tons of action pics of their walks.”

About: Hi! I’m Ryanne, a neuroscience & pre-med student at American University, currently home for the summer with a fully flexible schedule, meaning your pets get my undivided time and attention! I’ve been pet sitting since high school, so I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even koi fish for neighbors and family friends. I currently have two small dogs of my own (a cocker spaniel and a shih tzu mix), so I truly understand how much your fur babies mean to you. I’m known for my calm, nurturing energy, which helps anxious or shy pets feel safe and comfortable quickly. As a future healthcare professional working toward my CCMA license, I approach every pet’s care with the same attention to detail and compassion I bring to my studies. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, dog walk, or house sit, I treat every pet like my own! I am currently home from college and completing a self-paced CCMA course, which allows me a very flexible daily schedule! I typically start my day around 8:00 AM, making me available for early morning feedings and play sessions. Because my studies are online and flexible, I can easily drop by throughout the day or evening to ensure your pet has consistent company and care. Whether you need a standard routine or specific visit times, I can easily integrate your pet’s needs into my daily workflow. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize safety and maintaining their established routine to minimize stress. I am very detail-oriented with instructions regarding feeding, medication, and home security. I make sure all doors and windows are secure during every visit and provide regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and safe. My goal is to treat your home with the utmost respect while giving your pet the same attentive, loving care I would give my own.
“I would HIGHLY recommend Neha as a dog walker. She is trustworthy, professional, respectful, and understanding. I was away from home and my original dog walker was not able to take my dogs out as planned. So I was scrambling to find a replacement. Of course the anxiety of having someone inside my house that I’ve never met in person was a tiny nerve wracking. But Neha made the whole process very comfortable AND it was almost midnight and she STILL went because she knew the situation and did not want my dogs to not have been walked. My dogs do not go poo or pee inside the apartment so they were really excited when they seen her!!!”

About: I genuinely believe that animals and pets are too good to us humans. I've grown up loving pets and have always wanted my own. I do greatly enjoy experiencing others' pets because I learn different habits, training methods, and overall personalities of the pet. Being able to give many pets my undying love is the best job in the universe. From cats, to big dogs such as Dobermans, to Chihuahuas, I've dealt with them all. I absolutely love all of the pet breeds. I will care for your pets like they are my very own :) I am an on-site manager and live in the building I manage. Therefore, I am just a few steps away from your pet at all times. I have a fenced patio that is decently sized. I've got access to security footage of the entire building, which I check often. My tenants are also very respectful seniors.
About: Hi, my name is Sophie! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, working with small and large breeds of all ages — from playful puppies to calm seniors. I’ve successfully handled untrained dogs and sick dogs as well. I am capable of following dietary guidelines and physical requirements your pet might require. I’m great at reading their moods and energy, so they always feel safe and comfortable. Animals truly are my safe place and I promise to provide the up most care and attention to your furry friend. I’m currently in LA with a completely open summer schedule, so I can give your pet my full attention whenever you need me. I’m completely available Monday through Saturday with flexible times. I’m not working this summer, so I can easily help with walks and drop-in visits around your schedule. I care for pets in your home so they stay in their familiar environment. For walks and check-ins I’ll come to you, keep your place exactly how I found it, and send updates and photos every visit so you always know your dog is safe and happy.
About: I have had 2 years worth of experience walking dogs on other apps and have decided to come to rover! I used to live in Chicago but I’ve recently moved to Glendale, CA and hope to be able to continue walking dogs here. I have had multiple dogs and cats growing up, both big and small, and love to be around them. I have been told that I have a great attention for detail and really care about the dogs that I walk and sit. During sittings I will be able to tend to any need you need to, and I am very responsive. *I’m not currently working another job right now* I am also very responsive if you need to contact me while I am with your dog. I make it a point to be on time to see your dog, and to cater to whatever needs you or your dog may have. I am able to do long term commitments as well. I am very excited to meet you and your dog. I am currently doing freelancing work so my schedule is wide open when it comes to pet sitting. I am definitely a morning person and don’t mind waking up early to tend to your dog’s needs I know how important it is to keep a close eye on an animal when you own one or are watching one. At home, I am careful to always make sure the doors are shut and potentially hazardous items are kept out of your pet’s reach. When walking a dog I devote 100% of my attention to them and my surroundings, keeping watch of anything that’s on the ground that they could potentially try to eat.

“Traci was amazing. She went above and beyond to make my pups feel comfortable with her. My guys are really big and can be intimidating but they are really the sweetest things. This is our first time having Traci walk them, but we will definitely be calling her again. They were still tired from their walk with her when we got back home.”

In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible: feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and patience, especially if they need time to warm up.

“Lilit was flexible adapting walks/playtime based on Ferdi's sensitivity to the heat wave. This was very much appreciated 👏 and really shows how attentive Lilit is to my puppy's needs. Thank you!!”

“Jennifer was great! Extremely communicative always keeping me posted when she arrived and left including sending pictures of what looked like a very happy pup on his walk. She was very sweet, enthusiastic and seems to love dogs. Loki and I will definitely contact her again!”

“I loved all of the photos and updates Yvonne sent throughout my dog’s stay with her. It is apparent she loves the dogs she cares for as her own! He was so happy with her and all of her pups.”

“Josie is amazing! My pup had a great time with her while I was away on vacation. I think he had a better time than I did! Josie is very responsive and sends daily updates with the best photos. I will definitely rebook with Josie again.”

“Stephanie was such an attentive and caring pet sitter to our 12 year old terrier. She was diligent with his special food plan and medicines and made us feel secure in having our dear dog out of sight for 5 days. Charmander had a great time staying over and will be back again for a slumber party soon!”

“Radka and her family watched over my fur babies, and were amazing sitters! They were very caring and took good care of both my pups. I would go back to her again if I need a dogsitter for my pups 😊”

About: Hi! I am a dog mom myself, so my husband and I will work together to take great care of your pooch! I have a Golden Retriever, Toby. He’s high energy and loves to play so sometimes comes in hot with others. Please let me know if there have been any issues with that with your dog. I had a little one for 14 years so comfortable with all sizes of dogs- I love them all. My schedule is pretty flexible and I will definitely try to accommodate your timing needs. I am home most of the day Tues-Fri. My husband is home on weekends and can be WFH flexible on Mondays for dog care as needed. Our golden, Toby, always gets a walk in the morning and plays throughout the day. Access to the fenced backyard is available all day. I have a fenced front and back yard. Dogs have access to the backyard all day when we’re home, and will be encouraged to go potty before we leave to go anywhere. No unsupervised front yard time, but if we’re doing stuff, they can hang out. We can crate other dogs, but Toby does not get crated, so happy to cover the crate to reduce fomo!
“Cynthia took such good care of Wanda. Our dog is very people-focused and bonds with her caregivers. We are very grateful that Cynthia is so warm and easy going. We felt very comfortable leaving Wanda in her care.”

“TETSU IS THE BEST!! Seriously, Charlie Blu had an incredible week with him and he sent so many beautiful pics of her having the time of her life. So so grateful and cannot recommend him enough!!”

“Amazing combination of “I take you seriously as a caregiver” and “I can tell you just really love dogs.” Often you get the latter a lot but maybe the former makes one wonder if your dog is in competent hands. Jenna is both. Had a reassuring meet and greet, got lots of pupdates and photos. Home is a large apartment complex, lots of grass and areas for dogs, not crazy/busy/loud. It was a great environment. I will always rely on Jenna, cannot recommend enough.”

“Jonelyn is the best! She is so sweet and understanding. I appreciated her flexibility. She sent me the sweetest updates for my pup and I could tell they had a great time together. Would highly recommend her!”

“Loved Therese! She has a great space and sent plenty of photos of my pup playing with lots of other dogs, so it's clear many pet parents feel safe with their dogs in her hands. It's clear he had a great time. I'd absolutely book Therese again!”

“I'm so grateful Haley was able to watch my cat on such short notice. It means a lot knowing my cat is in good hands. I know my cat loves her, judging by all the sweet photos Haley sends. She's amazing and definitely my go-to cat sitter!”

“Jennifer was amazing! She was super responsive to every text, and sent a ton of photos and videos while our dog, Lulu stayed with her for the weekend. She’s super friendly and responsible, we knew our fur baby was in good hands and will definitely be repeat clients!! Thank you!!”
